Honor had launched the Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro smartphones in China in July 2019. Few months later, the company unveiled the international edition of the Honor 9X. Due to the US trade ban imposed on Huawei, sub-brand Honor had to launch a slightly different phone as the Honor 9X international edition. India was expected to receive the phone in August. However, its arrival was delayed due to reasons best known to the company. Today, it held a launch event in India to announce the Honor 9X alongside other products such as Honor Band 5i and Honor MagicWatch 2.

Honor 9X price in India

The Honor 9X has arrived in India in two models such as 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. These variants have respective price tags of Rs. 13,999 (~$197) and Rs. 16,999 (~$239).

The handset can be purchased in two colors such as Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue. The handset will be available for purchase from Jan. 19 exclusively through Flipkart. On the launch date (Jan. 19), the base model can be bought for Rs. 12,999 (~$183). ICICI credit and Kotak Bank credit and debit card users can take advantage of 10 percent discount.

Honor is selling two variants of the Honor 9X currently, One for the Chinese markets and the other one for the global markets. The Huawei Y9s appears to be rebranded version of the Honor 9X. There is no official confirmation on the markets that will be receiving the smartphone. Probably, the phone may go official in November. It is speculated that Pakistan will be soon receiving it with a price tag of PKR 34,999 (~$223).

A careful look at its specs reveals that it is the upcoming 4 GB RAM variant of the Nova 5i smartphone.

In China, the Nova 5i is available in 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage models. Both were respectively priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$285) and 2,199 Yuan (~$313) at launch. However, they are now available with revised pricings of 1,799 Yuan (~$256) and 1,999 Yuan (~$285).

The newly spotted 4 GB RAM edition may come to China in 64 GB and 128 GB storage models. It could be available in black, blue and red colors. The specs of 4 GB RAM are identical with its 6 GB / 8 GB RAM editions. However, one major change that can be seen on its TENAA listing is that it features a 16-megapixel selfie camera instead of the 24-megapixel front camera found on the 6 GB / 8 GB RAM models.

Huawei is expected to soon confirm on the arrival of the Nova 5i 4 GB RAM model. The new variant could be arriving around the upcoming Nov. 11 Singles’ Days sale in China. Probably, the 4 GB RAM variant may have a starting price of 1,399 Yuan (~$199).

Fresh details reveal that the company is now gearing up introduce Huawei Enjoy 10 with a notch-less design. However, this phone won’t be featuring a pop-up selfie camera, but a punch-hole on the display for front camera. The handset has appeared on TENAA with its entire specifications. Moreover, reputed industry expert Evan Blass has shared a press render of the smartphone.

The Huawei Enjoy 10 renders show that the smartphone will arriving in at least Red and Green-Blue gradient colors. The frontside of the phone features a punch-hole at the top-left corner. Placed at the upper-left corner on the rear shell of the phone is its dual camera unit along with an LED flash. There is no rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device.
