<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/lg/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LG Electronics</a> announced UltraGear evo, a new premium gaming monitor brand debuting at CES 2026. The lineup includes three flagship models that all feature 5K or higher resolutions: the 39GX950B, 27GM950B, and 52G930B.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="571" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-1024x571.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-721036" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-1024x571.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-300x167.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-768x428.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-1536x857.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-2048x1142.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-696x388.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-1068x596.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-1920x1071.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_main-753x420.jpg 753w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>What really sets all three monitors apart is LG’s built-in on-device AI, which enables 5K AI Upscaling. It’s the first solution of its kind and works by improving image quality in real time before the content even hits the screen. The result is near-5K clarity without needing a more powerful graphics card. The same AI system also fine-tunes visuals through scene optimization and adjusts audio output, helping both the picture and sound feel more balanced and refined.</p>

<h2>39-Inch 5K2K OLED Gaming Monitor (39GX950B)</h2>

<p>The 39-inch GX9 uses Primary RGB Tandem OLED technology for improved brightness, color accuracy, and panel longevity. The display delivers perfect blacks and lifelike colors.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="564" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-1024x564.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-721034" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-1024x564.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-300x165.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-768x423.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-1536x846.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-2048x1128.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-696x383.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-1068x588.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-1920x1058.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_39GX950B-762x420.jpg 762w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The monitor has a 1500R-curved 21:9 ultrawide screen that keeps the vertical height of a 32-inch display while expanding horizontal space. It runs at 142 PPI with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification for detailed highlights and deep blacks in dark scenes.</p>

<p>Dual Mode lets you switch between 165Hz at 5K2K resolution and 330Hz at WFHD. Response time hits 0.03ms (GtG), so you can choose between visual quality or competitive speed.</p>

<p>The on-device AI solution powers 5K AI Upscaling, AI Scene Optimization, and AI Sound for real-time improvements without putting extra load on your GPU.</p>

<h2>27-Inch 5K New MiniLED Monitor (27GM950B)</h2>

<p>The 27-inch GM9 is the world&#8217;s first 5K New MiniLED display built to fix blooming problems. It reduces the halo effects that usually show up on high-resolution MiniLED screens.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="571" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-1024x571.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-721035" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-1024x571.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-300x167.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-768x428.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-1536x856.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-2048x1141.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-696x388.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-1068x595.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-1920x1070.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_27GM950B-754x420.jpg 754w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The monitor packs 2,304 local dimming zones. Zero Optical Distance engineering cuts down the gap between the panel and LED, delivering high brightness and contrast accuracy that keeps fine details intact in both bright and dark scenes. Peak brightness reaches 1,250 nits with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification.</p>

<p>Like the 39-inch model, it includes the on-device AI solution for 5K AI Upscaling, AI Scene Optimization, and AI Sound.</p>

<p>Dual Mode operation lets you toggle between 165Hz at 5K resolution and 330Hz at QHD, paired with a 1ms (GtG) response time.</p>

<h2>52-Inch 5K2K Gaming Monitor (52G930B)</h2>

<p>The 52-inch G9 is the world&#8217;s largest 5K2K gaming monitor, running at 240Hz for consistent speed and image quality at this massive size.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="571" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-1024x571.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-721033" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-1024x571.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-300x167.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-768x428.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-1536x856.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-2048x1141.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-696x388.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-1068x595.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-1920x1070.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/2026_LG-UltraGear_CES_52G930B-754x420.jpg 754w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The screen matches the vertical viewing height of a 42-inch 16:9 display but stretches out to a 12:9 panoramic view. This gives you a workspace 33 percent wider than a standard UHD monitor. The 1000R curvature wraps around your peripheral vision for better immersion. It&#8217;s certified VESA DisplayHDR 600 for vivid color and deep contrast.</p>

<h2>CES 2026 Showcase and Additional Model</h2>

<p>LG will show the UltraGear evo lineup at CES 2026 in two zones. One is the &#8220;Dream Setup&#8221; based on Reddit gaming communities. The other features a SimCraft racing simulation using the new 39-inch GX9. LG also announced the UltraGear GX7 (27GX790B) will start selling globally on the opening day of CES 2026.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/lg/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LG </a>has just pulled the curtains on a new UltraGear monitor for gamers. But this model stands out with its ludicrously fast refresh rate. The new LG UltraGear 27GX790B gaming monitor has an absurd max refresh rate of 720Hz, making it one of the smoothest gaming monitors in the market.</p>

<h2>Meet LG&#8217;s UltraGear 27GX790B: The World&#8217;s Fastest Gaming Monitor Yet?</h2>

<p>While tech companies are already working on prototype monitors that hit an insane 1,000Hz refresh rate, some of the best gaming monitors currently available in the market only hit around 540Hz. So what sets the new UltraGear 27GX790B apart? a whopping 720Hz refresh rate. But there&#8217;s a catch: the monitor can only hit this figure when the resolution set is 720p, which is basically HD resolution.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="665" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-1024x665.png?x44794" alt="LG UltraGear 27GX790B Gaming Monitor" class="wp-image-718373" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-1024x665.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-300x195.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-768x498.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-1536x997.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-696x452.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-1068x693.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-1920x1246.png 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor-647x420.png 647w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/LG-UltraGear-27GX790B-Gaming-Monitor.png 1960w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>LG UltraGear 27GX790B Gaming Monitor</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>However, if you don&#8217;t wish to compromise on the image quality, the 27GX790B supports 1440p resolution at 540Hz refresh rate. LG&#8217;s latest gaming monitor has a 27-inch Primary RGB Tandem WOLED panel. Such a high refresh rate basically benefits competitive esports titles, especially first person shooters like Counter-Strike 2. The LG UltraGear 27GX790B also offers 0.02ms response time, 335 nits of peak brightness in SDR and 1500 nits in HDR. </p>

<p>It also arrives with DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and 99.5 percent DCI P3 color gamut. The monitor has an adjustable stand along with RGB lighting on the rear. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, 1x USB-C port, 2x USB-A ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. </p>

<h2>LG UltraGear 4K OLED Gaming Monitors Go on Sale</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="555" height="496" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/LG-UltraGear-32GS95UE-Gaming-Monitor.webp?x44794" alt="LG UltraGear" class="wp-image-615106" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/LG-UltraGear-32GS95UE-Gaming-Monitor.webp 555w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/LG-UltraGear-32GS95UE-Gaming-Monitor-300x268.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/LG-UltraGear-32GS95UE-Gaming-Monitor-470x420.webp 470w" sizes="(max-width: 555px) 100vw, 555px" /><figcaption>32GS95UE</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The South Korean brand previously unveiled the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/03/04/lg-oled-monitor-480hz-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">32GS95UE OLED Gaming Monitor</a> as one of its flagship models back in March 2024, while the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/05/lg-27gs95qe-oled-gaming-monitor-2k-240hz-display-1000-nits-brightness-unveiled/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">UltraGear OLED 27GS95QE</a> monitor was launched back in February 2024. Both of these models were announced in the US and Canadian markets. Now, the company has released these two monitors along with three others in its home market. To recall, the 32GS95UE is the world&#8217;s first monitor certified by CESA for &#8216;dual mode&#8217;. This basically means that it can switch between an ultra high 480Hz refresh rate at Full HD resolution and Ultra High Definition mode with 4K resolution at 240Hz refresh rate. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/27GS95QE-B_gallery_03_5000x5000-1024x680.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-606125" width="722" height="480" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/27GS95QE-B_gallery_03_5000x5000-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/27GS95QE-B_gallery_03_5000x5000-300x199.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/27GS95QE-B_gallery_03_5000x5000-768x510.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/27GS95QE-B_gallery_03_5000x5000-696x462.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/27GS95QE-B_gallery_03_5000x5000-1068x709.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/27GS95QE-B_gallery_03_5000x5000-633x420.jpg 633w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/27GS95QE-B_gallery_03_5000x5000.jpg 1100w" sizes="(max-width: 722px) 100vw, 722px" /><figcaption>27GS95QE</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It is also the first model to adopt LG&#8217;s Pixel Sound Technology by projecting sound directly from the display through vibrating film components built into the monitor. Other notable features include a tall 32-inch screen, 0.03ms response time, anti-glare, and low-reflection. LG has kicked off sale for the curved OLED gaming monitors as well, which are the 34/39GS95QE models. These offer WQHD resolution with an 800R curvature and 21:9 aspect ratio. Lastly, there is a massive 45-inch OLED monitor and a 27-inch OLED monitor that round up this list. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04-1024x1024.png?x44794" alt="LG UltraGear OLED 4K gaming monitor" class="wp-image-592542" width="695" height="695" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04-1024x1024.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04-768x768.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04-1068x1068.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04-420x420.png 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/04.png 1100w" sizes="(max-width: 695px) 100vw, 695px" /><figcaption>39GS95QE </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>After recently launching the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/06/06/lg-announces-new-27gr83q-gaming-monitor/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LG 27GR83Q 240Hz monitor</a> in the US market, <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/lg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LG</a> has also introduced a couple of new panels in their UltraGear line. These monitors are called the UltraGear 27GR93U and UltraGear 32GR93U, and as the name suggests, the only difference between the two is their screen size.</p>

<p>The LG UltraGear 27GR93U features a panel size of 27 inches, while the UltraGear 32GR93U offers a larger display measuring 31.5 inches in width. Both models offer a native 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio and a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate.</p>

<p>These monitors feature an IPS panel with 500 nits of peak brightness which is more than enough for a gaming monitor. In addition to that, they also come with a speedy 1 ms GtG response time. In addition to gaming, the monitors should also provide a good experience while watching movies or videos since they come with 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), cover an extensive 95% of the DCI-P3 color space, and come with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. Color calibration is also possible on these monitors with LG Calibration Studio.</p>

<p>Both the UltraGear 27GR93U and UltraGear 32GR93U come equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC support, ensuring smooth gameplay. They offer multiple connectivity options, including one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, two HDMI 2.1 ports, and a USB 3.0 hub. For added convenience, these monitors feature adjustable stands and are compatible with VESA 100 x 100 mm mounts, allowing you to use third-party stands if desired.</p>

<p>The LG UltraGear 27GR93U and UltraGear 32GR93U are currently featured on LG&#8217;s UK website. However, there is no information available regarding their prices or availability. However, they are rumored to debut in September 2023.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/lg">LG</a> has launched yet another monitor in the Ultragear lineup, this time adding the model 49GR85DC, which is a 49-inch LG Ultragear curved monitor.</p>

<p>This newly launched monitor by LG appears to take on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/06/24/samsung-officially-launches-the-odyssey-g9-gaming-monitor-globally/">Samsung Odyssey G9</a>, which is also a 49-inch monitor. The LG Ultragear 49-inch monitor is now available for purchase in the United States.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LG-Ultragear-49-Inch-Monitor-1024x683.webp?x44794" alt="LG Ultragear 49-inch Monitor" class="wp-image-536160" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LG-Ultragear-49-Inch-Monitor-1024x683.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LG-Ultragear-49-Inch-Monitor-300x200.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LG-Ultragear-49-Inch-Monitor-768x512.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LG-Ultragear-49-Inch-Monitor-696x464.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LG-Ultragear-49-Inch-Monitor-1068x712.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LG-Ultragear-49-Inch-Monitor-630x420.webp 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/LG-Ultragear-49-Inch-Monitor.webp 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The monitor features a 49-inch Dual QHD display with a screen resolution of 5,120 x 1,440 pixels with a 1000R curvature, a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/240hz">240Hz refresh rate</a>, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a 1000-nit peak brightness, along with being VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified.</p>

<p>The 1000R curved ultrawide panel comes with a 32:9 aspect ratio and supports FreeSync Premium Pro along with HDR10. It supports Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes. PIP mode displays content from a second connected device in a floating window, while PBP mode allows multiple open windows at the same time by dividing the screen into two discrete sections.</p>

<p>It comes with HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, but there&#8217;s no <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/usb-c">USB Type-C port</a> on the device, although there&#8217;s a USB 3.0 Hub. Given the features, it&#8217;s apparent that the monitor is aimed at gamers interested in the immersive size and quick performance.</p>

<p>The LG Ultragear 49-inch <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/monitor">monitor</a> is now available for purchase in the United States for the <a href="https://geni.us/LetN" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow">price of $1,299.99</a>. The company says that it will soon launch the product in the European and Asian markets.</p>
