iOcean has launch their new red color of iOcean phablet device, this version is avilable in very limited number, the device is targeting for women user.

The iOcean G7 is powered by octa-core processor, using MediaTek MT6592 chipset, comes with 6,44 inch LTPS screen size with 1080p resolution, support for 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, the phablet is also has 3500 mAh battery capacity and coupled with 5 megapixel front facing camera and 13 megapixel of rear facing camera that covered by sphire glass lens.

This device is also using Gorilla Glass Third version screen with ultra-sensitive touch screen, the phone has WiFi connectivity, support for gesture operations and other features. The phone is offers 1,699 yuan or around $272 USD price tag per unit and the phablet is available only 22 unit.

In recent years, many tablet manufacturers have decided to sell tablets with eight-core processors. These tablets use chips developed by MTK. CHUWI’s new product, the VX3 will use the MT6592 octa-core chip becoming one of the first tablets to use this chip.

The CHUWI VX3 will first be sold at JD.com for about 999 RMB （$159.74）from May 5 to 12.

The VX3 uses the octa-core MT6592 processor with a main frequency of 2GHz. It is the only 1000 RMB tablet that runs on it right now and uses a built-in 2GB DDR3 ram and 16GB memory space (expandable). It also has a 2Mp x 8Mp dual-camera (Samsung sensor/f/2.4 aperture/LED), and runs on a 3000mA battery.

The CHUWI VX3 runs on the Android 4.4 operating system and is customized. It can also support the WCDMA/GSM dual-SIM card and HDMI function as well as sensory functions commonly found in smart phones. Its measurements are 191 x 106 x 7.9mm.

The TCL Momoda’s (low) China Mobile and Unicom editions will soon enter the market. The high version is also expected to follow suit soon. The China Mobile version (high) is designated the TCL S725T. If the Unicom version is similarly named the same way, it would be called the S725.

Not surprisingly, the TCL S725T will use the MT6592 octa-core processor with a 1.7GHz main frequency, 2GB RAM, and up to 16G of memory space. It will also have a 5Mp front camera and 13Mp rear camera.

The design of the TCL Momoda China Mobile edition (high) has not changed. It uses a 3300mA battery and has a 5.5 inch screen with a 720p resolution and a deeply customized operating system. It also supports the TD+GSM double-SIM card and dual-microphone noise cancellation technology. It also has many different kinds of sensory functions such as an electric compass and gyroscope, and must notably, it supports Hotknot technology. The touch screens of both versions can facilitate data transmission at 10Mb/s.

The TCL Momoda high version is expected to hit the market on May Day and should not be more than 1000 RMB (about $161)

MediaTek has successfully to launch it’s mobile processor, the MT6592 is the first true eight core processor that launch in the market, and now some Chinese smartphone manufacturer is focus to built their products with this chips. And the one of Chinese phone maker is HuangZu K1 that powered by MT6591 processor.

The phone has 1.7Ghz clock speed with true octa core processor MT6592, sports with full HD display and has 2GB of RAM, there is a 13 megapixel main camera .

The phone’s body is very thin, according to leaked picture, the HuangZu K1 has similar body design with Huawei Ascend P6. Untill for now, we don’t have any detail information according to release date, price and availability of this phone.

MediaTek is the one of Taiwanesse chipset manufacturer that already released their new true eight-core chipset, and back to summer this year, MediaTek has been announced the MT6592 true eight-core processor.

MediaTek MT6592 can be run simultaneously by the eight core of Cortex-A7 chipset, using TSMC 28nm process technology, the highest single-core running at 2GHz. While the machine is equipped with the processor works long exposure, but its performance is very dramatic.

And the folks has been unveiled the benchmark test score point of MediaTek MT6592 chipset. According to the leaked picture, the MT6592 processor is running on 1.7GHz clock-speed, sports with MALI 450 GPU, 1GB RAM and support for 720p HD screen.

The score got 25,496 points, slighty lower than the Snapfragon 600 that equipped in the HTC One smartphone, but this score is has different perfomance with the LG G2 that powered by Snapdragon 800 chipset.

However, MediaTek prototype chipset is only using low-frequency, and MediaTek is claimed that the score will raise to more than 30,000 point in the final roducts.

ZOPO as one of Chinese smartphone manufacturer is now readying to adopt octa-core chipset from mediatek, yes the Mediatek MT6592 is now already packs in some Chinese smartphone such as ZTE, Lenovo and Gionee, is now ZOPO turn to using this chipset for their products ahead.

MediaTek now becoming popular since this phone always produce mobile processor that always offers with very-very affordable price, and now MediaTek is also announced the MT6592 as the Octa Core processor.

MediaTek MT6592 is the one of Octa Core processor thats uses  ARM MALI quad-core graphics processor, but while for now the new MT6592 is not too popular since this is the new variant from MediaTek. Managing Director of MediaTek, Zhu Shangzu is talking about MT6592 chipset before it’s launch to the market.

The MT6592 aims to be the first true octa-core SoC. While Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa 5410 also features eight cores, it follows ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture that allows only four cores to be active at any given time. The Exynos 5 Octa features four Cortex A15 cores clocked to 1.8 GHz that can be utilized when gaming and four 1.2 GHz Cortex A7 cores that come in handy when undertaking less intensive tasks. This ensures that the device overall has a better battery efficiency.

The MT6592 is expected to ship with a quad-core Mali GPU, it’s seems that the MTK MT6592 is uses PowerVR SGX554MP or PowerVR SGX544MP. Through the recent news shows, but there is no official explanation about this.

MediaTek recently unveiled products in addition to the entry-level chip MT6572 , the other a quad-core chip MT6582 also about to walk into everyone’s attention, MT6582 can be seen as MT6589 optimized version, has a higher main frequency, and integrated baseband TD can direct support for TD-SCDMA network. The good news is, MT6582 pin is fully compatible with 6592, equipped with MT6582 products can be directly upgraded to eight-core platform and no longer a separate program, potentially enhancing the product to market.

The new Octa-core MT6592 chipset is really had time to market, there is news that products will be available on November, Mr. Zhu Shangzu answer is given at the end of mass production, while we can see the products with this processor in early next year. In addition MT6592 will locate the real flagship product, rather than the second flagship, that is, direct rival Qualcomm APQ8064 platform to further wrangling high-end market share.
