On MT6595 launch the other day, Media Tek has announced the test machine’ benchmark reached as high as 47000. And now oversea websites disclose something about the trial operation on the MT6595 prototype for reference of benchmark and tuning. From the backside, words “Only for Demo” can be seen with clarity. MT6595 performs excellently, charring a 5-inch screen with pixel resolution of 2k, equipped with a 2000-mega-pixel camera, supporting dual SIM, SD card expansion, double built-in  basebands and FDD-LTE and TD-LTE 4G networks.

As is known, the new AntutuBenchMark of the machine reaches 47233. With such a powerful benchmark, there’s little doubt for it to win a perfect victory against snapdragon 805.

The company posted its first poster of the phone starting its advertising campaign. The company boasts that the OONE mobile phone is not just a cell phone but a “work of art!” It will have “high-end functions” and be made using “high-end materials” and an “exquisite design.” They sound really sure of themselves!

The photo faintly shows the OONE phone in one angle, and one can barely see three buttons on side, which should be the volume buttons and power switch. It has a flat middle frame with curvy sides. In addition, HDR was used for the mid-frame, probably meaning that that it could be made of strong non-plastic materials such as metal.

Earlier reports said that the OONE phone would be very slim and that it might run on a MT6595 octa-core chip with 2GHz main frequency as well as 2GB of ram. However, it’s almost been half a year, so nobody knows if this will still be the case. Nevertheless, this “work of art” is certainly worth waiting for.

According to news recently released by taiwanese media, MediaTek eight-core chipset sales in the first quarter is better than expected. The sales have occupied more than 20% of the company’s smartphone chip revenue.

MediaTek is now becoming the real rival for Qualcomm for mobile chipset, the MediaTek General Manager, Xie Qingjiang has been claim that the MediaTek is very popular for most domestic market but since then, the MediaTek is also adopt by another popular manufacturer.

Xie Qingjiang also says that the MediaTek MT6290 chipset that has 4G data has passed the evaluation, and some telco has ready to use this new technology.

General Manager of MediaTek Wireless Division Zhu Shangzu said, MT6595 is the world’s first eight-core system-on-chip 4G is expected to be in volume production in July, while the 64 eight-core 4G system-level single-chip MT6752, will also be in volume production in September this year.

The MediaTek is already release their new products, and ready to compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. MediaTek has officially launch the MT6595 chipset, here is the detail about the new MT6595 octa-core II processor.

The MediaTek MT6595 series has another variant model, including MT6595 Turbo series that has highest frequency in their lineup which reached 2.4GHz ~ 2.5GHz, the regular MT6595 Standard version has 2.1GHz ~ 2.2GHz, while MT6595M is only has 2GHz ▼

Here is a detailed comparison between MT6595M and MT6595, yas you can see, there are many different things, especially GPU frequency of 600MHz dropped to 450MHz only.

With more than 2GHz frequency from Cortex-A17 kernel, MT6595’s CPU performance is almost similar with MT6592 SoC but the preformance of Cortex-A7 will be increased dramatically. And the MT6595 chipset series has been greatly improved, with 2X LPDDR3 933MHz memory specifications. ▼

The MT6595 is support for SGLTE. For your information, SGLTE is simultaneous GSM and LTE for short. LTE and GSM synchronization is supported under this technology, This processor will support 4G and 2G dual networks, the user can use 2G and and 4G in the same times. The benchmark test is showing the result from MediaTek that get 40,000 or more score points.

And the MediaTekk MT6595 does not has Sensor hub (similar to Apple’s M7), support MHL2.0, 1080P, 60fps output specifications.
