Recently, it has even been repeatedly rumored that the Mi 6 would end up making it as the first device both on the domestic scene and globally, that would be powered by the powerful chip.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/xiaomi-mi-6-benchmark/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-114377" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/xiaomi-mi-6-benchmark.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi mi 6 benchmark" width="600" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/xiaomi-mi-6-benchmark.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/xiaomi-mi-6-benchmark-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/xiaomi-mi-6-benchmark-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Now, to further lend credence to this assertion, what is said to be the benchmark score for the Xiaomi Mi 6 has surfaced online and the score is fiery, to say the least. Although, the benchmark data isn&#8217;t coming directly officially from AnTuTu but it is said to be the AnTuTu benchmark score the Mi 6 ran on testing. The data showed the Mi 6 pulled a score above 210,000 points, specifically 210,329 points. If actually this is true, it means the Mi 6 will indeed feature the Snapdragon 835 chip onboard.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2017/01/05/xiaomi-mi-6-may-no-longer-start-%c2%a51999-300-due-high-cost-materials/xiaomi-mi-6-render-2/" rel="attachment wp-att-114188"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-114188" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Xiaomi-Mi-6-render-2.png?x44794" alt="xiaomi-mi-6-render-2" width="600" height="368" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Xiaomi-Mi-6-render-2.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Xiaomi-Mi-6-render-2-300x184.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: left">At present, no smartphone around had recorded a score in that region when they were benchmarked. The most powerful device of them all, the iPhone 7 Plus with the Apple A10 chip inside only achieved a score of 18,300 points when it was benchmarked. The OnePlus 3T which was released recently sporting the Snapdragon 821 chip scored only 16,300 points when it passed through benchmark test.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More:</span> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2017/01/05/xiaomi-mi-6-may-no-longer-start-%c2%a51999-300-due-high-cost-materials/">Xiaomi Mi 6 May No Longer Start at ¥1999 ($300) Due to High Cost of Materials</a></strong></p>
<p>The Xiaomi Mi 6 is tipped to launch sometime n February, just a month away and really, we would like to see this fire power in real life action.</p>

First of all, it is confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is the company’s <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/17/xiaomi-confirms-mi-note-2-announcement-october-25-curved-display-tow/">first dual curved screen display smartphone</a>, joining the likes of Samsung and Vivo. This clearly shows that the company is eager to establish its presence in the premium market, unlike at present, where it mainly operates in the low-end to the affordable mid-range segment.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/mi-note-2-new-renders-05.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-103622" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/mi-note-2-new-renders-05.jpg?x44794" alt="mi note 2" width="549" height="449" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/mi-note-2-new-renders-05.jpg 549w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/mi-note-2-new-renders-05-300x245.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 549px) 100vw, 549px" /></a></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">As we wait less than 24 hours for the official launch of the flagship, it’s time to look at what to expect from the Mi Note 2. There are some real high-end features expected on the device, so tomorrow’s launch is definitely going to be exciting. </span></p>
<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #993366;">Dual Curved Display</span></h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Since Xiaomi has already confirmed it, we know for sure that the Mi Note 2 will come with dual curved display. While we are not entirely sure about the supplier, it is said that the curved display is going to be supplied by LG and not Samsung. Considering all major phones with dual curved display used Samsung’s curved OLED panels, it will be interesting to see the partnership between LG and Xiaomi.</span></p>
<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #993366;">Dual Cameras</span></h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">This is something we are not entirely sure about. But considering the Mi Note 2 is a premium flagship from the company, we should expect nothing less than dual cameras on board. We have seen both <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/23/real-images-mi-note-2-dual-curved-screen-single-rear-camera/">single camera</a> as well as <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/11/purported-mi-note-2-leak-reveals-vertical-dual-rear-cameras/">dual camera renders</a> of the Mi Note 2, and the company hasn’t revealed anything specific regarding this feature. So, we can only guess what to expect in the camera department. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Dual cameras are a real possibility because Xiaomi has started using such a setup on its other smartphones. Starting with the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-pro/">Redmi Pro </a>and now on the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-5s-plus/">Mi 5S Plus</a>, both use dual cameras at the back, which means the company believes that dual cameras are the way to go for better photography. Considering this, despite the single camera renders that we have seen lately, dual cameras on the Mi Note 2 is a good possibility.</span></p>
<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #993366;">Snapdragon 821 &amp; High-end Hardware</span></h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Expect nothing less than Snapdragon 821 and 6GB RAM on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Although there could be a cheaper version with 4GB RAM available. Also, the curved display is said to come with 2K resolution, which means the phone will be VR ready as well. Further, we should find NFC on the phone as well, considering how Xiaomi is focused on its mobile payment platform Xiaomi Pay.</span></p>
<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #993366;">Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor</span></h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">It won’t be surprising if the Mi Note 2 comes with the same ultrasonic fingerprint sensor as found on the Mi 5S. For some reason, the company skipped this advanced sensor on the Mi 5S Plus, but I don’t think it can afford to skip this feature on a premium flagship such as the Mi Note 2.</span></p>
<h2 class="p1"><span class="s1" style="color: #993366;">Global Network Band Support</span></h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">One of the biggest letdowns of Xiaomi&#8217;s smartphones for international users was the lack of 4G LTE network support. I have seen so many users disappointed to see that most LTE network bands in Europe and US were not supported by Xiaomi phones, and therefore they had to opt for a different brand phone. That’s most likely going to change with the Mi Note 2, considering how a recent post by <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/19/xiaomi-mi-note-2-features-global-edition-37-frequency-bands/">one of the officials of the company</a> revealed that the flagship was going to support 37 global brands. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"> </span></p>
<h2 class="p1"><span style="color: #993366;">Not So Cheap Anymore</span></h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Since the Mi Note 2 is a premium handset from Xiaomi, don’t expect it to be as cheap as other company phones. It is said that the phone could be the costliest handset from Xiaomi, priced at around 4000 Yuan ($600). Some rumors have given an even higher price tag, upwards of $700, but it is likely that at least the basic versions are priced at around $600.</span></p>
<p class="p1">So, that&#8217;s what we expect to see on the Mi Note 2.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">We are less than 24 hours away from the official company event, so make sure that you stay tuned to gizmochina for tomorrow’s event updates. </span></p>

However, a few days back, Xiaomi CEO revealed that the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/05/03/bad-news-folks-mi-band-2-wearable-wont-meeting-us-soon/">new band&#8217;s release was going to be delayed by around a month</a> due to mass production issues. We had first seen the Mi Band 2 on the<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/04/23/mi-max-release-date-confirmed-mi-band-2-coming-too/"> hands of the Xiaomi CEO</a>, Lei Jun a couple of weeks back. Now, new pictures of the same device have cropped up online revealing more details about the smart band.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-82197" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/mi-band-2-02.jpg?x44794" alt="mi band 2 02" width="600" height="1066" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/mi-band-2-02.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/mi-band-2-02-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/mi-band-2-02-576x1024.jpg 576w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>Thanks to the earlier leaks, we already knew that the new Mi Band 2 was going to come with a display on board. This new leak again confirms the LED display on the wearable, which now shows a lot more information than previous generation models. Given that the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2014/08/16/xiaomi-launches-mi-band-fitness-tracker-at-just-13/">Mi Band</a> and the<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/11/07/xiaomi-mi-band-1s-official-with-heart-rate-sensor-for-15/"> Mi Band 1S</a> just had indicator lights (white or colored depending upon model), users had to check their connected smartphone for details. But with the display on top, the new wearable can show more details.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>So, what information can we expect to see on the LED display of the new Mi Band 2? Today&#8217;s leak reveals that the smart band will be able to display the battery left in percentage, steps taken, speed, heart rate and time through its screen. So, you no longer have to check your smartphone app for these details.</p>
<p>While we aren&#8217;t sure whether this is the final version of the new band or an engineering prototype, it is said that Xiaomi will keep its price cheap. The Mi Band models sold well because they were super cheap, costing less than $20. So, it makes sense that the new Mi Band 2 comes at a cost-effective price tag as well.</p>
<p>Since the company is facing production issues with the new Mi Band version, we are not quite sure whether we will hear anything about the device at today&#8217;s conference.</p>
<p>To remind you, Xiaomi will announce the Max phablet and the MIUI 8 OS at the event today in China. Even Huawei has an event today for the unveiling of the Honor V8 flagship with dual cameras. So, stay tuned to gizmochina as we bring more news in the next few hours.</p>

The department reportedly tested out a batch of 36 Air Purifiers, out of which only four of the products failed the test. Interestingly, Xiaomi&#8217;s Mi Air Purifier turned out to be one of the four products which didn&#8217;t pass the test.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner-3.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-37793" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner-3.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi-aircleaner-3" width="560" height="560" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner-3.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner-3-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner-3-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px" /></a></p>
<p>Although this meant that most of the air purifiers were fine, the presence of a popular product from Xiaomi in the list was really surprising. However, soon, Xiaomi released a statement in response to this test report, claiming that their air purifier CADR level efficiency was in line with A level standards. According to the official company listing, the Mi air purifier has a CADR (clean air delivery rate) value of 406m3/h which is pretty decent.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Mi-air-purifier-fails-test.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-69898" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Mi-air-purifier-fails-test.jpg?x44794" alt="Mi air purifier fails test" width="440" height="1175" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Mi-air-purifier-fails-test.jpg 440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Mi-air-purifier-fails-test-112x300.jpg 112w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Mi-air-purifier-fails-test-383x1024.jpg 383w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Mi-air-purifier-fails-test-157x420.jpg 157w" sizes="(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px" /></a></p>
<p>Now, it has come to light that Xiaomi&#8217;s air purifiers that were subjected to the department&#8217;s test only managed score a CADR value of 346m3/h.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-37786" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi-aircleaner" width="700" height="455" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner.jpg 700w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/xiaomi-aircleaner-300x195.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></a></p>
<p>But the company claims that all Xiaomi purifiers use the same functional units and components and such a vast difference between the claimed value and the sample value is not possible. And after some further talks, it was reported that the sample unit under test was not using the high-speed mode on the device, which is why the score was so less. As a result, Xiaomi has urged the Shanghai Quality department to retake the test.</p>
<p>Although the report may have shocked Mi Air purifier users, from the proceedings of the incident, it looks like a proper retest may pass the product.</p>

In fact, due to the lack of any concrete leaks or information many assumed that the company may have discontinued the lineup entirely. We have been increasingly seeing reports about the decline in the tablet sales, so this wasn&#8217;t improbable. However, Xiaomi has many a times repeated that it won&#8217;t be giving up the lineup.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Xiaomi-MiPad-Tablet.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-26115" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Xiaomi-MiPad-Tablet.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi MiPad Tablet" width="640" height="350" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Xiaomi-MiPad-Tablet.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Xiaomi-MiPad-Tablet-300x164.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>Now, Pan Jiutang, a known Chinese analyst has revealed that Xiaomi is going to release a new Mi tablet in the third quarter of 2015. The device won&#8217;t be running on the Android version as its predecessor, instead, it will reportedly run on the new Windows 10 platform from Microsoft. Unfortunately, he failed to mention whether its the standard Windows 10 edition or the Windows 10 mobile edition that&#8217;s going to the run on the Mi Tablet.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/xiaomi-mi-tablet-windows-10.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-55084" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/xiaomi-mi-tablet-windows-10.png?x44794" alt="xiaomi mi tablet windows 10" width="646" height="593" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/xiaomi-mi-tablet-windows-10.png 646w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/xiaomi-mi-tablet-windows-10-300x275.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/xiaomi-mi-tablet-windows-10-458x420.png 458w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/xiaomi-mi-tablet-windows-10-640x587.png 640w" sizes="(max-width: 646px) 100vw, 646px" /></a></p>
<p>Xiaomi is usually known to customize its devices to a considerable extent, but that was in case of Android. When it comes to Windows, its not that easy. So, if this news turns out to be true, we will have to see if there are any MIUI like customization on the new device.</p>
<p>Well, we are in the third quarter of 2015, which means the release shouldn&#8217;t be far off. We could expect the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/23/rumor-xiaomi-to-release-miui-7-on-august-16/">launch to be on August 16</a>, the time when the company traditionally announces the new MIUI version. So, until then, lets wait for some more concrete details about the new tablet.</p>

That number will have increased significantly in the past 6 months for sure. Despite its tremendous popularity, the company is yet to announce the new version of MIUI 7 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. However, it looks like the release date is coming near as new rumors state that Xiaomi is all set to announce MIUI 7 on August 16.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/MIUI-logo.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-51001" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/MIUI-logo.jpg?x44794" alt="MIUI-logo" width="640" height="200" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/MIUI-logo.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/MIUI-logo-300x94.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>According to the leakster called Leaksfly, Xiaomi will announce the new MIUI 7 version on August 16. If you have been following Xiaomi for the past few years, you would know that the date is special. Almost every year on August 16, the company keeps a big conference with new discounts and promotions. It also happens to be the date when the company announces its new MIUI version annually. For example, the company released MIUI v6 last year on the same date. So, it makes sense for the company to continue with the tradition and release the new OS.</p>
<p>Most of Xiaomi&#8217;s smartphones are expected to be upgraded to the new OS. So, phones like Mi3, Mi4, Mi4i, Xiaomi Mi Note series and Redmi Note 4G could be upgraded to this Android 5.1 powered version after the release.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, the company is yet to confirm this news. So, stay tuned for more details.</p>

<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/8345c393jw1eoa6sdi0dyj21hc0u0wgf.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-40067" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/8345c393jw1eoa6sdi0dyj21hc0u0wgf-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="8345c393jw1eoa6sdi0dyj21hc0u0wgf" width="800" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/8345c393jw1eoa6sdi0dyj21hc0u0wgf-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/8345c393jw1eoa6sdi0dyj21hc0u0wgf-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/8345c393jw1eoa6sdi0dyj21hc0u0wgf.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p>We have been hearing about this super sized smartphone for quite some time now, however, it was only a few days back that we realized that it could be a new lineup itself. And we were quite right in assuming so as the company has today confirmed it. Just yesterday, we heard <a title="Xiaomi will release Snapdragon 810 &amp; Snapdragon 801 smartphones tomorrow!" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/01/14/xiaomi-will-release-snapdragon-810-snapdragon-801-smartphones-tomorrow/" target="_blank">a rumor</a> that the device was going to be one of the two Snapdragon 810 powered smartphones that will be announced in the market soon. And the rumor was right indeed! There will be two variants of the new Mi Note. One which will be powered by the Snapdragon 801 processor and the other with the latest and the ever powerful <strong>SNAPDRAGON 810</strong>! Yes, there is a high end version of the Mi Note called the <strong>Xiaomi Mi Note Pro</strong> which will make many of the fan&#8217;s dreams come true.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78g46ejj21z4140dzf_副本1.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-40085 aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78g46ejj21z4140dzf_副本1.jpg?x44794" alt="5427bcafjw1eoa78g46ejj21z4140dzf_副本" width="805" height="453" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78g46ejj21z4140dzf_副本1.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78g46ejj21z4140dzf_副本1-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 805px) 100vw, 805px" /></a></p>
<p>Anyways, lets not waste any more time and move on to the specs of the device.First lets talk about this new HIGH END XIAOMI MI NOTE version. The phone will come with a 3D curved glass display. Yes, you heard it right! It features a 3D curved glass screen which will sport an impressive resolution of 2K on its 5.7-inch display. There will be Snapdragon 810 processor onboard with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC5.0 ROM. There will be a Sony rear 13MP camera with OIS and a 4MP ultrapixel front shooter, which will also end up in the regular Mi Note version. The Mi Note Pro will run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The phone will support 4G LTE Category 9 networks and will be available for sale starting January 27 for a hefty<strong> 3299 Yuan ($532)</strong>. This makes the high end Xiaomi Mi Note&#8211; the world&#8217;s second Snapdragon 810 powered smartphone (considered LG G Flex2 was already announced)! Rest of the features are the same as the regular version of the Mi Note, so lets move on to that now.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78kq5chj21z4140dl2_副本1.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-40083 aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78kq5chj21z4140dl2_副本1.jpg?x44794" alt="5427bcafjw1eoa78kq5chj21z4140dl2_副本" width="802" height="451" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78kq5chj21z4140dl2_副本1.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78kq5chj21z4140dl2_副本1-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 802px) 100vw, 802px" /></a></p>
<p>The regular version of the Xiaomi Mi Note will also feature a large 5.7-inch but with 2.5D curved display and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display will be a Negative LCD panel with the new Pixel level dynamic adjustment (NTSC color gamut up to 95 percent!).  Xiaomi just revealed that it will feature a lower 1920 x 1080p resolution display which translates into pixel density of 386ppi. The old Snapdragon 801 processor will power the device along with 3GB RAM onboard. There will be 16/64 GB internal storage options. At the back, there is a 13MP rear camera with dual tone dual LED flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization tech). The front camera will be of 4MP 2um Ultrapixel which is the same rear camera module from the HTC One M7.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78g46ejj21z4140dzf_副本1.jpg?x44794'><img width="150" height="150" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78g46ejj21z4140dzf_副本1-150x150.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail" alt="" loading="lazy" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78gnpx0j21z4140q8e_副本1.jpg?x44794'><img width="150" height="150" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78gnpx0j21z4140q8e_副本1-150x150.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail" alt="" loading="lazy" /></a>
<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78jfhemj21z4140qj2_副本1.jpg?x44794'><img width="150" height="150" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78jfhemj21z4140qj2_副本1-150x150.jpg?x44794" class="attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail" alt="" loading="lazy" /></a>

<p>Both the variants have the same body and design, so we can talk about them together. The phone won&#8217;t be as thin as expected. Xiaomi reveals that the Mi Note will feature a 6.95mm thin body, which is still slim for a device of this size. The overall measurements come to 55.1x 77.6 x 6.95mm. In comparison, the iPhone 6 Plus measures, 158.1 x 77.8 x 7.1 mm. As you can see, even the iPhone 6 Plus which is considered as a very thin phablet has a 7.1mm thin body. Also, the Xiaomi Note will weigh just 161 grams which is almost 12 grams lighter than the Apple phablet! Finally, a 3000 mAh battery will power all these features with fast charging 2.0. This is the minimum battery capacity that a 5.7-inch device requires. Since the large screen display will require a lot of charge to run for an entire day, this 3000 mAh battery may just be enough. Like Xiaomi teased earlier, the phone will come with ESS ES9018K2M DAC high performance two channel 32-bit mobile Hi-Fi Audio chip which is a great news for music lovers around the globe. This is the same chip used in many audiophile grade music players, blu-ray players, recording players and digital audio workstations. What&#8217;s more, you can get a the 499 Yuan ($80) headphones to take advantage of the full audio performance of the device. Finally, it will support 4G LTE dual SIM card dual standby.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78htl9uj21z4140dw5_副本1.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-40081 aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78htl9uj21z4140dw5_副本1.jpg?x44794" alt="5427bcafjw1eoa78htl9uj21z4140dw5_副本" width="804" height="452" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78htl9uj21z4140dw5_副本1.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/5427bcafjw1eoa78htl9uj21z4140dw5_副本1-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 804px) 100vw, 804px" /></a></p>
<p>Now, coming to the most important part of the announcement, the pricing of the Mi Note. Xiaomi has set an unbelievable price tag for this regular variant. The company has priced the device at 2299 Yuan which comes to around $371 which is an amazing price for a device with such specifications. This is the around the same price as Meizu&#8217;s MX4, so the competition is definitely getting tougher. The given price is for the 16GB version and for the larger 64GB storage variant, you&#8217;ll have to shell out a few more Yuan. The 64 GB Xiaomi Mi Note will be available for sale for 2799 Yuan which comes to around $451! Chinese Xiaomi Note users also can get accidental insurance for an additional 199 Yuan i..e $32.</p>
<p>Here are the key specs:-</p>
<ul>
