Earlier today, Xiaomi posted an image on Weibo teasing a new product set to launch on Wednesday, 18th of January at 10:00 a.m.
The teaser image which is of a sea coast has two distinct filters separating the image into two halves. There is also a text that hints at a ‘big difference in vision’ when translated into English.
What this new product is still remains a mystery. Some folks are of the opinion that it is some sort of filter for cameras while some say it might be a kind of protective wear for the eyes.

Xiaomi has not hinted at a major product launch following the announcement of the Mi TV 4, the Mi Router HD, and the Pearl White Xiaomi Mi MIX which were announced at CES, so this might probably be a third party product launching on the Mijia platform.
