The Elephone P9000 was released more than a year ago alongside a curved variant called the P9000 Edge and a lower specced version called the P9000 Lite. Seven months ago, Elephone announced the P9000 was going to get updated to Nougat.

A beta version was made available two months after the announcement but it was buggy. Today, Elephone has released a stable version which can now be installed by anyone and that fixes the bugs in the November beta update.

The update comes with March’s security patch and the changelog says the fingerprint sensor has been optimized. The update is not available as an OTA yet so you will have to manually flash it for now. The update comes in at over 1GB in size.
