After we saw the leaked images of the upcoming Huawei P20 phone, Evan Blass has now posted the live images of its lighter variant Huawei P20 Lite on Twitter.

The leaked images show the similar full-screen display which we saw on the P20. However, instead of the triple camera setup, this stripped-down variant features a dual camera setup with Leica lenses.

The Huawei P20 Lite leaked images reveal that the phone will come with an iPhone X-style notch. The source reveals that the phone will pack a 5.6-inch display with 2250 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

The device is expected to be powered by the company’s own Kirin 659 octa-core processor, which comprises of a quad-core SoC clocked at 2.48GHz coupled with a 1.7GHz quad-core SoC. There’s a fingerprint sensor which is placed on the back panel.

It will pack 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, with support for storage expansion using microSD card. Coming to the camera, the phone will be featuring a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of two 16-megapixel sensors from Leica, along with hybrid zoom.

The phone is expected to be running Android Oreo operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own EMUI 8 on top. The device is powered by a 3,520mAh battery.

Huawei has already confirmed that the company will be launching the Huawei P20-series phones at a press event on 27th March in Paris, France. From what we know so far, there will be three devices in the P20 lineup — Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro, and P20 Lite.

The company is so confident for its upcoming flagship devices that Huawei CEO Richard Yu not only claimed that the upcoming P20 will be better than Apple‘s iPhone X but also stated that the company would leapfrog Apple in a year or two. The company aims to dethrone Samsung from its numero uno position in four to five years.
