After launching the Vivo X23 Star Edition, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has now launched a new variant of the Vivo X23, dubbed Vivo X23 Symphony Edition. It comes in two color options — Arctic Morning Light and Starry Night Ocean.
The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition is priced at 2,798 Yuan, which roughly converts to $403. The phone is currently available for pre-order on the company’s official website and will begin shipping from 23rd November.
The X23 Symphony Edition features a holographic illusion effect on the transparent glass through what the company class a complex process of “optical nano”, “holographic coaxial” and “high-quality pearl”, where the color and space are combined to create 3D depth.
The phone comes with a 6.41-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display offering 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It features a waterdrop notch on top of the display, which houses the front-facing camera sensor and earpiece.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 660 AIE octa-core processor along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also comes with the fourth-generation in-display fingerprint sensor.
As for the photography, the handset features a dual camera setup on the back, consisting of a 12-megapixel primary Dual Core Pixel sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary wide-angle lens. On the front side, it comes equipped with a 25-megapixel front-facing shooter. It also supports facial recognition for unlocking the phone.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with the company’s own FunTouch OS 4.1 on top. It also comes with the company’s own AI-based smart assistant called Jovi. The device is powered by a 3,400mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology.
