It has been a couple of months following the launch of the Amazfit GTS. The watch which is available in six different colors has also made its way to India and Europe. Today, in China, Huami announced a new Titanium Edition of the Amazfit GTS.

The body of the standard version of the watch is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy while the straps are made of silicone. The Amazfit GTS Titanium Edition swaps the aluminum body for titanium which is stronger and more resistant to corrosion. The silicone straps have also been replaced with fluoro rubber, a material that is softer, skin-friendly, and resistant to dirt.

The Amazfit GTS Titanium Edition joins the Amazfit GTR and the Sports Watch 3/Stratos 3 which both have titanium versions.

Other than the difference in materials, the features are the same. So you get a 1.65-inch AMOLED Retina display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It can track up to 12 different sports including swimming, hiking, skiing, weightlifting, mountaineering, trail running, and elliptical training. There is also sleep monitoring and heart rate monitoring. It has a 220mah battery with up to 2-weeks of battery life. The watch has GPS, NFC, and is water-resistant up to 5ATM.

The new version is priced at ¥1299 (~$185), ¥400 (~$57) more than the standard version with an aluminum body and silicone straps. It will go on sale on December 1 on Tmall, Amazfit store on JD.com, and on the Youpin online store.
