Multiple reports have claimed that OPPO is working on the Reno6 series of smartphones. Today, the company revealed a Weibo post to confirm that the Reno6 lineup will be announced at 6 PM (local time) on May 27 in China.

Last year in December, OPPO announced the Reno5, Reno5 Pro, and Reno5 Pro+ smartphones in China. These phones are expected to be replaced by the Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and Reno6 Pro+ soon. Reports have claimed that these phones have already appeared with respective model numbers such as PEQM00, PEPM00, and PENM00 at the 3C and TENAA certification sites of China.
The Reno6 is expected to house a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel, whereas the Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+ could be coming with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display. All three phones are expected to feature a punch-hole design, an FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The images of the Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+ that have appeared at TENAA suggest that their screens feature curved edges.
The recently unveiled Dimensity 900 chip may fuel the Reno6 Pro, while the Dimensity 1200 may power the Pro variant. The Pro+ edition could be featuring the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. These phones are expected to offer users up to 12 GB of RAM, a built-in storage of up to 256 GB, and an Android 11 OS experience.
The Reno6 trio may sport a front camera of 32-megapixel. The TENAA appearance of the Reno6 Pro 5G revealed that it has a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system. The Reno6 also features a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup, but there is no information available on its auxiliary cameras.
The Reno6 Pro+ 5G is expected to feature a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera unit on the back. All three Reno6 smartphones are likely to house a 4,500mAh battery and they are expected to carry support for 65W rapid charging.
