Back in May, Oppo rolled out the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 beta update for Oppo Reno 10x Zoom and Oppo Reno Ace. Earlier this month, the company revealed that it will be delivering the stable release on June 28. As promised, the company started pushing the stable update yesterday.

According to the official announcement posts on Oppo Community, the ColorOS 12 stable update based on Android 12 for Oppo Reno 10x Zoom is currently available in China and India. Whereas, the same update for Oppo Reno Ace is limited to China as the device did not make its way to international markets.

It is worth noting that the update is also live for the special editions of these handsets, such as Oppo Reno FC Barcelona Edition (customized Reno 10x Zoom) and Oppo Reno Ace Gundam Edition.

As usual, the OTA software update is being pushed in batches. Therefore, it will take some time to reach all units. But every user should get access to the update in the coming days, including those in other regions as well.

The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom and Oppo Reno Ace debuted with Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6. Hence, ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 is their third as well as the last major software update. They are Oppo’s first smartphones to receive three Android updates.
