The Indian electronics manufacturer Portronics recently launched an entry-level gaming headset called the Portronics Genesis. Now, the brand has unveiled new headphones geared more toward media consumption dubbed the Portronics Muffs A.

The Muffs A is a pair of wireless headphones with a trendy-looking design. It comes with memory foam for the headband and earcups providing maximum comfort. They are also designed in such a way that they are easier to use and more comfortable to use for extended periods of time.

The headphones are equipped with large 40mm drivers, which are said to provide powerful and punchy bass. Usually, bass-heavy headphones struggle to provide clear highs and lows, however, Portronics claims that these headphones will give you a clear and distortion-free listening experience.

For connectivity, the Muffs A uses Bluetooth 5.2 which gives it a maximum range of 10 meters. Being budget-oriented, the Muffs A doesn’t feature fancy technologies like active noise cancellation. However, the headphones offer pretty decent sound isolation, cutting off the ambient background noise.

Coming to the battery, the company claims that the headphones can provide up to 30 hours of audio playback on a single charge. The battery is of 520mAh capacity and takes around 55 minutes to fully charge. Other than that the headphones have physical buttons to control media playback, volume levels, answering or rejecting calls, etc. It also has a convenient USB Type-C port for charging.

The Portronics Muffs A wireless headphones have a price tag of ₹1,999 ($25). It is available in three color options – Red, Blue, and Black. The Muffs A comes with a 12-month warranty and can be purchased from the Portornics website, major e-commerce websites, and via brick-and-mortar stores.
