Oppo is known for holding its INNO Day event, a platform for showcasing tech innovations, in December. Reports have claimed that the company is now gearing up for INNO Day 2022. However, it has not confirmed the dates yet. Panda is Bald revealed today that the event will take place on Dec. 14 and will feature the introduction of new foldables.
The tipster claimed that the Oppo INNO Day 2022 will take place on Dec. 14, and the next day, on Dec. 15, the company will take off the covers from the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip.
The company showcased a concept phone with a rollable display at the INNO Day 2020 event. Last year, it showcased a retractable camera phone and announced a couple of other products, such as the Find N foldable phone, the MariSilicon X NPU, and the Oppo Air Glass.
It is unclear whether Oppo has plans to unveil more products apart from the N2 foldables through INNO Day 2022. There is a possibility that the company may share some details about the Find X6 series, which is expected to debut in Q1 2021.
The Find N2 Flip will break cover as the company’s first clamshell phone with a foldable display. Some of its other highlights include the Dimensity 9000 chip, a large battery with fast charging support, 50-megapixel dual cameras, and a big external display. The Find N2 Flip is likely to cost less than the Galaxy Z Flip 4. While there is no word on the Find N2’s global availability, the Find N2 Flip is expected to hit the global market as early as Q1 2023.
The Find N2 will be an updated version of the Find N, which was announced in December 2021. It is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and arrive as the lightest horizontal foldable phone, weighing under 240 grams.
