Tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the launch of the Google Pixel Fold, the first foldable phone from the search giant, which is rumored to happen on May 10. Though Google has not officially announced any details regarding the device, leaks and rumors about the specifications of the phone have been circulating online for some time now. A recent leak by popular tipster Jon Prosser has revealed almost everything about the Pixel Fold ahead of its launch.

Google Pixel Fold specifications (rumored)

According to Prosser, the Google Pixel Fold will come with a 5.8-inch OLED cover screen with a resolution of 2092 x 1080 pixels, a 17.4:9 aspect ratio, a 408 ppi pixel density, and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the inside, it will have a larger 7.6-inch OLED foldable screen with a resolution of 2208 x 1840 pixels, a 6:5 aspect ratio, 380 ppi pixel density, a 120Hz refresh rate, and also has a UTG (ultrathin glass) layer.

Shown above is a leaked video of the Pixel Fold that surfaced on social media sites recently. The foldable phone is expected to be powered by the Tensor G2 processor and equipped with a Titan M2 security chip and LPPDR5 RAM.

The Pixel Fold will sport a triple-camera setup on the back with a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 10.8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. It will have a 9.5-megapixel front camera on the cover screen and an 8-megapixelfront camera on the inner screen.

Google Pixel Fold price, availability (rumored)

The Google Pixel Fold is expected to come in two variants. The 12GB + 256GB model will reportedly be priced at $1799 and will be available in Obsidian and Chalk colors. The 12GB + 512GB variant will cost $1919 and will be available only in the Obsidian color option.

Prosser also revealed that the first teasers of the Pixel Fold may surface on April 26. Its pre-order is expected to begin on May 10, the day it gets announced. Carriers and Googleā€™s partnered stores are expected to begin pre-orders of the Pixel Fold on May 30. Finally, it will go on sale starting June 27. Those who purchase the Pixel Fold will reportedly get a Pixel Watch for free.
