The Honor Pad 8 was launched in China in late July. Nine months after its initial debut, the brand has now released a new memory variant of this tablet.

The new version of the product not only brings an upgrade in storage but also RAM. Let’s go through the details.

Honor Pad 8

The latest Honor Pad 8 variant arrives with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is priced at ¥1,999 (~$290) and will go on sale from tomorrow (April 28).

The new version does not come with any changes in terms of specs. It offers the same set of features as the older memory configurations.

The Honor Pad 8 is built around a 12-inch 10-bit display (LCD) with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and a 5:3 aspect ratio. The panel offers an 87% screen-to-body ratio as it is surrounded by 7.2mm bezels.

The device features a metal unibody design and weighs about 520g with a thickness of just 6.9mm. Under the hood, it houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and a 7,250mAh battery.

The tablet sports a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack but it is Hi-Res Audio-certified and arrives with 8 speakers powered by Honor Histen Sound and supports DTS: X Ultra.

Last but not least, the device boots Android 12 and charges at a maximum rate of 22.5W.
