Google is all set to unveil its highly-anticipated foldable device, the Pixel Fold, at the Google I/O 2023 developer conference. Ahead of the launch, Google released a promotional ad that showcased the device from every angle in collaboration with the NBA.

The ad revealed the Pixel Fold’s inner and outer screens and its hinge, which can be propped at a 90-degree angle on a surface. While there is no information about screen size and panel type or whether it has a gapless design, the Pixel Fold’s aspect ratio is reportedly similar to the Oppo Find N2, making it pocketable.

According to past reports, Pixel Fold will be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 chip, and it will run on a foldable-optimized version of Android with 256GB and 512GB storage options. More information about its capabilities will be revealed at the I/O 2023 event.

Pixel Fold is expected to feature a 7.69-inch 120Hz foldable display along with a 5.9-inch cover screen. The device will feature a 64MP primary lens, 12MP ultrawide lens, a 10.8MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP selfie lens. Pixel Fold is rumored to house a 4821mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

Foldable phones have been the new trend in recent years, with major players like Samsung, Motorola, and Huawei releasing their versions. Google’s Pixel Fold is its first foray into the foldable phone market, and it looks like a promising device.
