At the Vivo S17 series launch event in China, the brand also announced a new audio accessory. It is new pair of truly wireless earphones.

The latest earbuds from the company are officially called Vivo TWS Air Pro. These earphones cost the same as the recently released Honor Earbuds X5 and are cheaper than the Oppo Enco R2.

But they offer ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), which is missing in the other two. At the same time, the vivo model does not support multipoint connections.

Further, the Vivo TWS Air Pro houses 14.2mm drivers. They connect to devices via Bluetooth 5.3 and support seamless pairing on Vivo smartphones as well as tablets.

The buds are IP54-rated for water resistance. They offer touch gesture controls and 88ms low latency mode. Being a budget model, they only support the standard SBC and AAC audio codecs, however, they provide 3D sound effects.

The earbuds weigh about 4g each and are rated to last for 6 hours without ANC. With noise cancellation, the endurance drops by half to only 3 hours. Along with charging, these figures increase to 30 hours and 15 hours, respectively.

The Vivo TWS Air Pro is priced at ¥299 in China. It can be availed in either Rough Blue or Vitality White color options.

These new wireless earphones are already on sale. For a limited time, the brand is offering a ¥30 discount. Currently, it’s not known if and when these buds will be released in global markets.
