Vivo is working on the Vivo X100 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. The brand is expected to announce the X100 and X100 Pro smartphones in November. These devices will feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset. Vivo has also confirmed that it will be launching a phone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This device could also be part of the Vivo X100 series.

The above poster does not specify the name of the Vivo phone that will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. As per reports, the X100 and X100 Pro will have the D9300 chip, whereas the X100 Pro+ will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Rumors have it that the X100 Pro+ will be announced in the first quarter of 2024. Here is a look at the rumored specifications of the device.

As per reports, the Vivo X100 Pro+ will have a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel that offers a Quad HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will run on OriginOS 4-based Android 14.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset-powered device will be equipped with 16 GB or 24 GB of LPDDRT RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. There is a possibility that it may pack a 5,400mAh battery with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging.

The rear camera setup of the X100 Pro+ may feature an IMX989 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and variable aperture, an IMX598 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, an IMX758 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with support for up to 10x optical zoom. It is also expected to feature an IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis.
