Xiaomi recently unveiled the Redmi K70 series in China consisting of three devices: the Redmi K70, the K70 Pro, and the K70E. If that wasn’t enough, the brand has also unveiled the Redmi K70 Gaming Edition, which this time is being called the Redmi K70 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse limited edition.

The collaboration between Redmi and Lamborghini’s motorsports department is evident in the distinctive design of their special edition smartphone. Going beyond a mere paint job, Redmi has made subtle modifications to the camera module, aligning it more closely with Lamborghini’s iconic design elements. The unveiling includes striking Yellow and Green color options, reminiscent of the popular choices found on Lamborghini cars.

On the inside, the phone has a custom Lamborghini Squadra Corse-themed HyperOS interface and it will only be available in a 24GB RAM + 1TB storage configuration. The rest of the spec sheet is similar to the regular Redmi K70 Pro.

The Redmi K70 Pro features a 6.67-inch TCL C8 OLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and it includes an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The phone’s camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto unit with 2x zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. The front-facing camera is 16MP.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the device offers configurations with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4 storage. It incorporates a 5,000 mm² heat dissipation system for optimal performance. The 5,000mAh battery supports 120W fast charging. Running on the HyperOS-based Android 14, the phone includes a USB-C port, WiFi-7, NFC, IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.4. It also features an X-axis linear motor for enhanced user experience.

Pricing and availability details of the device are currently under wraps, as the brand plans to start selling it around “New Year”.
