iQOO Neo 9 series display details revealed

iQOO confirmed that the Neo 9 series will feature a 1.5K 144Hz 8T all-weather super-sensing screen, offering flagship-level LTPO technology for enhanced speed and energy efficiency. iQOO also said that the screen can sustain 100 hours of continuous touch, setting a challenge to achieve the industry’s lowest click latency.

Furthermore, the new phone introduces a new dimming mode, chip-level smart eye protection 2.0, and has received SGS dual certification for low blue light and low flicker. The company will release an OTA update in January to enable these features.

The brand previously confirmed that its self-developed e-sports chip Q1 will also power the Neo 9 models. The Q1 chip will assist in delivering an unparalleled gaming experience with high definition, detail, and low latency. While the company has not confirmed the exact size of the screen, both phones are said to be equipped with a 6.78-inch OLED panel equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

For those who don’t know, the iQOO Neo 9 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, whereas the Pro model will be blessed with the Dimensity 9300 SoC. Both devices are said to pack a 5,160mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

The Neo 9 may arrive with a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system, while the Neo 9 Pro will have a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system. Both phones are likely to feature a 16-megapixel front camera. The Neo 9 series will run on the latest OriginOS 4-based Android 14.
