The Realme 12 Plus is now official in India as scheduled. It is accompanied by Realme 12. Both of them are 5G-enabled smartphones and are positioned below the Realme 12 Pro series.

The plus model was first announced in Indonesia last week. It retains some of the features from pro variants, like an AMOLED display, an OIS-enabled camera, and a leather back.

The Realme 12 Plus features a flat frame design, unlike the Redalme 12 Pro models. Hence, its display is flat instead of curved.

The 6.67-inch panel arrives with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The centered punch-hole screen supports HDR10+ content and up to 2000 nits peak brightness level.

Further, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chip paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It boots Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14.

The triple camera system on the rear consists of an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper.  On the front, there’s a 16MP shooter.

The phone comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Connectivity options on it include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and USB Type-C.

Finally, the handset draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging.

The Realme 12 Plus carries the following price tags in India.

  • 8GB + 128GB – ₹20,999 (~$255)
  • 8GB + 256GB – ₹21,999 (~$265)

It arrives in Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige color options.
