Samsung is gearing up to expand its budget-friendly Galaxy M series with the upcoming Galaxy M15 5G. The device has been spotted on the Google Play Console, revealing some key specifications and hinting at an imminent launch.

Samsung Galaxy M15 5G Google Play Console listing

According to the listing on the Play Console database, the smartphone will be equipped with a MediaTek MT6835V/ZA processor featuring two Cortex-A76 performance cores, six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, and a Mali G57 GPU.

The chipset’s specifications closely resemble those of the Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset, which we have already seen in action in Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy A15 5G. So we can expect both devices to perform similarly in everyday tasks.

Additionally, the smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM and will run on Android 14 with Samsung’s One UI interface. The display is listed as a 6.5-inch Full HD+ panel, likely a Super AMOLED screen offering a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

Apart from these details, the Play Console listing doesn’t reveal much else about the device. However, it recently obtained Safety Korea certification, confirming the presence of a substantial 5880mAh (possibly marketed as 6000mAh) battery with 25W fast charging support.

Renderings of the device surfaced earlier this month, showcasing a typical Samsung design featuring a teardrop notch for the front camera and offering three color options. Furthermore, the device has acquired necessary certifications like FCC and BIS, indicating an imminent launch in various markets.

The Galaxy M15 5G’s specs we’ve seen so far are similar to those of the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy F15 5G. This aligns with Samsung’s usual strategy for its budget-friendly devices, where we often see similarities among models.

Therefore, one can expect little variation between these three devices.  If you’re interested in learning more about the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy F15 5G, you can find further details here:
