Earlier this month, Redmi unveiled the Redmi Pad Pro in China. Soon after its launch, reports surfaced indicating the device’s imminent release in multiple markets, including India. Recently, the global version of the tablet was spotted in the database of the Google Play Console. Now, its Indian and Latin American variants have also surfaced on the Play Console, indicating that it will have a wider release in the global market.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Google Play Console listing

Shown above are the Play Console listings of the Redmi Pad Pro’s Indian and Latin American variants. The specifications mentioned in the listing are the same as its Chinese counterpart. What’s interesting is that the Indian version, which bears the 24074RD2I model number, has the Redmi Pad Pro 5G as the marketing name. This indicates that the device will support 5G connectivity.

However, the Latin American edition, which has the 2405CRPFDL model number, does not have “5G” mentioned in its moniker. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 powers the Redmi Pad Pro. However, its Chinese edition does not have a cellular variant. While it appears that China may receive its 5G version in the future, what seems certain is that the Indian market will get the 5G version of the device.
