The Huawei Pura 70 series was launched in China on April 18. The series reportedly offers a new 5nm chipset which is capable enough to support a couple of AI features such as AI photo retouching, article summarization, handwriting removal, table extraction, dialect recognition, and more.
Huawei Pura 70 series offers a couple of AI features
One of the key features of the AI photo retouching function is the removal of “disharmonious” elements from an image such as people in the background. The feature understands image semantics, removes distractions with one swipe, and fills the areas based on the surroundings with generative AI, just like some other flagships on the market. It also supports a cloud-based image enhancement feature that enhances image quality of a variety of images.
Another similar feature of the Pura 70 series powered by generative AI called “Xiaoyi Skin Care Q&A” where users can take a picture of a skincare product including the ingredients and share it with the Xiaoyi Assistant. The assistant will perform ingredient analysis and share the suitable skin type for the product and its efficacy details.
As mentioned before, the Xiaoyi Assistant can summarize articles and other documents. It can also translate the text in different languages.
Another feature of the Pura 70 series is “Smart vision” which can scan documents, remove handwriting, extract text and tables, etc.
The Huawei Pura 70 series comprises four models: the Huawei Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra. While the Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Ultra have been available for sale since the launch day, the same wasn’t true for the Pura 70 and Pura 70 Pro+, which have now hit the shelves today.
