The Google Pixel Tablet is a solid mid-range Android tablet, but its initial price tag wasn’t exactly budget-friendly. Fortunately, there are now a few ways to save without sacrificing your entire wallet.

Unlike some of its competitors, the Pixel Tablet isn’t currently seeing any straightforward price drops. However, both Google and Best Buy are currently running trade-in offers for the Pixel Tablet. Best Buy’s offer maxes out at $300, while Google’s promotion can give you a saving of up to $450.

Naturally, the final amount you receive depends on the model and condition of your trade-in device. In a best-case scenario, Google’s offer could see you walk away with a Pixel Tablet for as little as $50.

The Pixel Tablet comes in two storage configurations: 128GB and 256GB. Both options include a charging speaker dock, making it a functional smart display when not in use.

The standard price for the 128GB model is $500, though it has dipped as low as $400 during previous sales. The 256GB variant typically sits at $600, but some retailers have offered a $100 discount in recent weeks.

In terms of performance, the Pixel Tablet uses a Google Tensor G2 CPU paired with 8GB of RAM. Apart from tablet, you can use the Pixel Tablet as a smart home hub.

The Google Assistant in it helps you control your Nest devices, letting you manage thermostats, view doorbell cameras, and interact with visitors – all from the tablet’s interface.
