The upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 series for the Chinese market is expected to include two models, such as the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. Reports indicate that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Elite chipsets, respectively, will power these models. While the company has been teasing the arrival of the Ace 5 series, it is yet to reveal the launch date. The screenshot shared by a Chinese tech blogger reveals that the Ace 5 series’ reservations have begun in China. Additionally, the tipster also shared key specs for both smartphones.

The reservation listing for the OnePlus Ace 5 series available on a Chinese retailer site mentions a deadline of 14:30 on Dec. 26. Hence, it appears that Dec. 26 could be the Ace 5 series’ launch date.
OnePlus Ace 5 specifications (rumored)
The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will have a 6.78-inch flat BOE X2 OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Ace 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a 6,415mAh battery with 80W fast charging. On the other hand, the Ace 5 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a 6,100mAh battery with 100W charging. Both phones will feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will likely feature an identical camera setup, including an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera. There are speculations that the Ace 5 Pro will have a Sony IMX906 primary camera, which may not be available on the standard model. The leaker did not share any information about the front camera of the Ace 5 series.
The Ace 5 series will also have a metal middle frame, a short-focus fingerprint scanner, and an alert slider. Like the OnePlus 13, the Ace 5 duo is expected to ship with ColorOS 15-based Android 15.
Both models will be available in multiple configurations, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB,16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. These configurations are similar to competing phones, such as the Redmi K80 series, iQOO Neo 10 series, and Realme Neo 7. The leak also mentions that the Ace 5 series will be available in two ceramic color choices, such as White Moon Porcelain and Sky Blue Porcelain.
