Displaying two headlines and small accompanying images for each story, this widget offers a snapshot of multiple news articles at once. Compared to the existing 4×2 widget, the List View provides users with a broader range of news content to explore and engage with.

To access these new widgets, Android users must update their Google News app to version 5.82. Currently, the latest available version is 5.81, so the anticipation for the release builds. This concept has been previously mentioned by Zuckerberg himself. Notably, details of the Instagram AI chatbot were discovered recently, offering users a choice of up to 30 distinct “personalities.”

Furthermore, Meta is reportedly developing generative AI photo editing capabilities for Instagram. This feature would enable users to modify their images using text prompts and subsequently share the edited photos with their followers. Zuckerberg has also hinted at the creation of post generation tools for Facebook, as well as for the platform’s advertisers, during the company’s recent earnings call.

The exact timeline for the release of these features remains uncertain. Nevertheless, Zuckerberg seems eager to see them implemented sooner rather than later. The Volvo EX30 Crossover SUV is slightly shorter than a Volkswagen Golf 8 but with a longer wheelbase. The new Volvo Crossover SUV comes with the standard Volvo safety features and is a great choice for city dwellers.

The Volvo EX30 is available in several European markets while pre-orders are being accepted in the US. The earliest deliveries of the EX30 in the US is by Q2, 2024. The Volvo EX30 is priced starting at $34,950 in the US and a similar price in Europe and the United Kingdom.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra cameras are not good enough to top DXOMARK rankings

Xiaomi 13 Ultra debuted earlier this year in China and recently made its way to the global market, starting with Hong Kong. All the marketing material and reviews of the smartphone will tell you it has great cameras, and that’s mostly correct. However, it turns out that the 13 Ultra is not good enough to be DXOMARK’s best cameraphone. In fact, it doesn’t even rank in the top 10.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is DXOMARK’s 14th best cameraphone, falls behind iPhone 14 Pro, Pixel 7 Pro

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has impressed users and reviewers alike with its versatile camera system. We took our own time to test the device’s cameras and were equally impressed, noting that it can even compete head-to-head with smaller cameras like the RICOH GR series. This sentiment is echoed by tech publishers worldwide. However, it appears that DXOMARK is not nearly as impressed as everyone else.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, despite being touted by Xiaomi as the pinnacle of mobile imaging, falls short in DXOMARK’s rankings. With an overall score of 140, it lands in the 14th position, tied with the Pixel 7, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and the Vivo X90 Pro Plus. This places it behind other top contenders such as the Google Pixel 7 Pro (6th), Huawei P60 Pro (holding the 1st place), Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max (8th), and even last year’s iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max (11th).

What we found astounding is that Xiaomi 13 Ultra ranks even lower than the Mi 11 Ultra from two years ago. To remind you, Xiaomi 13 Ultra boasts an impressive camera setup, featuring four 50 MP lenses. The primary camera utilizes the Sony IMX989 sensor, while the ultra-wide-angle and two telephoto cameras make use of three IMX858 sensors.

In its testing, DXOMARK noted several issues with the smartphone’s cameras. This includes a noticeable delay between pressing the shutter button and the device capturing an image. More issues are listed in the image below along with the merits.

The Redmi 12C debuted in India with a starting price of Rs. 8,999. However, recently Xiaomi humbled the consumers with Rs. 200 discount, making it available for Rs 8,799. If this wasn’t enough (we know it wasn’t), the company has now announced a Rs. 800 price cut for a limited time through special offers. Do note that the offer is applicable only on the base 4GB model.

To avail of this discount, you’ll need to purchase the device on EMI through Amazon using an ICICI credit card, HDFC credit card, or HDFC debit card. This will bring the effective price of the device down to Rs. 7,999. Amazon has mentioned June 15 as the last date for the credit/debit card offer, with no specific date mentioned for the UPI offer.

As a reminder, the Redmi 12C features the Helio G85 chipset, accompanied by up to 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD panel that produces an HD+ resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels. The panel offers a 20.6:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits of brightness. Nokia introduced several new smartphones in the US this month, including the rugged XR21 with an “indestructible” build. Soon, HMD Global may launch a new affordable smartphone in the G series, called Nokia G42 5G. The smartphone was recently spotted on the Geekbench website, running Android 13 and an unknown Qualcomm processor. Here are the details.

The Nokia G42 was recently spotted on Geekbench with its key specifications. The handset was listed on the benchmarking site with quad core Qualcomm processor with a base frequency of 1.90 GHz. There’s also a fast cluster of two cores, clocked at 2.21 Ghz. While we don’t know the exact name of this processor, it is expected to be a lower mid-range SoC.

This is further evidenced by the running score. The Nokia G42 has managed to score 738 in single-core tests and 1718 in multi-core tests. The Geekbench listing further suggests that the smartphone gets at least 4GB of RAM and runs the Android 13 software out of the box. This is all the information we get from the present listing.

Previous reports claim the Nokia G42 will also have a 6GB RAM variant with 128GB of built-in storage. The smartphone could boast a screen resolution of 1612*720 and be available in purple and gray color options. Other details about the smartphone are still anyone’s guess. As we mentioned above, Nokia recently unveiled the rugged XR21 smartphone in the US with MIL-STD 810H military-grade durability, IP68-rated waterproofing, and IP69K-certification dust resistance. It comes powered by the Snapdragon 695 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
