Lenovo and Motorola took the lead as the first smartphone manufacturer to include the Qualcomm highest-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in their flagship Moto Edge X30 smartphone back in December of 2021 in China. The device was then launched in the global markets as the Motorola Edge 30 Pro with much fanfare as well.

However, 6 months after its launch, the Android flagship market in 2022 has gotten more competitive. Therefore, today Lenovo has revealed the Motorola Edge X30 Champion Edition (12GB+512GB) in the Chinese market starting from only 3299 RMB (490 USD), and on its first sale on May 11th at 10 am Beijing Time, the device will be available for early bird buyers for only 2999 RMB (445 USD).

Lenovo says that the Moto Edge X30 Champion Edition will only be available in limited quantities as the device is a limited edition product from the product from the company.
So what are the highlighting features of the Moto Edge X30 Champion Edition? The device is to be shipped with 512GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage over the 128GB and 256GB memory configurations of the standard edition of the Moto Edge X30. And at its low asking price, the Moto Edge X30 Champion Edition is the cheapest 512GB storage smartphone with Qualcomm’s highest-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the market right now.
Besides that, most of the specs of the Moto Edge X30 Champion Edition are just repeats of the standard edition. The Moto Edge X30 offers a flagship-grade 10-bit 144Hz 10-bit AMOLED display, that features DC-Dimming, HDR10+ support, fast 576Hz touch sampling rate, and 100% overage of DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The photographic capabilities of the Moto Edge X30 are also potent as well as it features a 50MP+50MP+2MP triple camera setup. The device features a 50MP OmniVision OV50A40 main sensor, a 50MP ultra wide-angle FOV sensor, and a 2MP depth-of-field sensor for portraits.

The device also features a set of powerful stereo speakers as the audio experience has been certified for Snapdragon Sound and Dolby Atmos support. The Moto Edge X30 has a large 5000 mAh battery and coupled with the company’s 68W charging, the device can charge from 0% to 50% within 13 mins.
