Honor’s next foldable could be its boldest yet. According to a new leak, the upcoming Honor Magic V6 is set to feature a massive 200MP main camera, a first for the company’s foldable lineup and a major step up from the 50MP sensor (Sony IMX906, 1/1.56″) used on last year’s Magic V5.
The report comes from tipster Digital Chat Station, who claims the Magic V6 will carry over Honor’s reputation for thin and lightweight foldables while pushing imaging to a level barely seen in the segment. If true, it would also line up with Honor’s broader camera strategy, as the rumored Honor 500 series is said to include a 200MP sensor despite targeting a lower price point.
The Magic V5 earned praise for its durability and slim design, and fans will be watching closely to see whether the V6 can maintain those traits while packing in a much larger sensor. There’s also talk that it could be the first foldable to ship with MagicOS 10, Honor’s updated Android-based platform, optimized for multitasking and larger displays.
On the hardware front, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is a likely candidate for the chipset, though some reports suggest Honor may opt for the slightly less expensive Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 to balance costs. That trade-off could help keep pricing competitive, given the premium involved in using a 200MP sensor in a foldable device.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but if the leak holds true, the Magic V6 could be the first non-Samsung foldable with a 200MP camera. It’s an ambitious move, and one that could set Honor apart as foldables enter their next phase.
OnePlus has started releasing the OxygenOS 15.0.0.860 update for the OnePlus 13R in India. The rollout is incremental and will first reach a small number of users before expanding more widely in the coming days.
The update comes as build CPH2691_15.0.0.860(EX01) and includes several improvements in animations, photo management, privacy features, and system security.
For a smoother experience, animations have been improved when tapping Live Alerts or notifications on the lock screen.
In Photos, a new map album has been added, letting users view all images with location data on a map. If photos stored in the Private album are made public again, they will now return to their original locations for easier access. Users can also change their privacy password on each secondary page of Private Safe as well as in the Locked album.
Phone Manager now shows daily and weekly screen time under App management. The IR Remote app has also been updated with a new button layout on the remote control panel for better usability.
The update also integrates the September 2025 Android security patch to improve system security.
Since this is an incremental OTA, only a small percentage of OnePlus 13R users in India will get the update today. A broader rollout will follow in the coming days. The update content may vary depending on the region.
For users in India, reporting issues has been made easier. Bug reports can be submitted through the OnePlus Community App under the Bug Report section in the profile.

Xiaomi has announced a new addition to its peripheral lineup with the launch of the Wireless Mouse 3 Color Comfort Edition. The mouse will go on crowdfunding on September 24 with a starting price of 109 yuan ($15).
Xiaomi Wireless Mouse 3 Comfort Edition Specs
The new mouse features an asymmetrical ergonomic design that supports the natural shape of the hand. Xiaomi has used a 172-nanometer quasi-molecular UV matte coating on the surface to provide a smooth, skin-friendly texture that resists stickiness. The build focuses on long-term comfort and aims to reduce fatigue during extended usage.
The mouse comes in four minimal color options: black, white, pink, and blue. It supports dual-mode connectivity with a 2.4GHz wireless receiver and Bluetooth 5.0. It can connect to three devices simultaneously and switch between them using a dedicated button located on the underside.
Xiaomi has collaborated with TTC to develop a new low-noise switch structure for the mouse. The custom switches provide a soft tactile feel and feature long key travel to enhance user comfort. The mouse also includes dual side buttons that allow quick access to forward and backward commands.
The Wireless Mouse 3 Color Comfort Edition uses a 1200 DPI low-power PixArt sensor that ensures accurate tracking while consuming minimal energy. The internal compartment includes a storage slot for the 2.4GHz receiver to help prevent loss. The scroll wheel uses a wide silicone-coated design with a textured grip for precise scrolling control.
The mouse weighs approximately 65 grams without the battery. It measures 118.9mm in length, 75.5mm in width, and 41.5mm in height.
LG is expanding its home entertainment lineup in the US with the launch of the CineBeam S Mini, a compact 4K projector that has already been rolling out in other regions. Pre-orders are live now through LG’s online store, with shipping expected to begin the week of October 6.
The projector, officially listed as the CineBeam S 4K UHD Smart Projector (PU615U), first appeared in Canada, Australia, the UK and parts of Europe back in August. US customers can now reserve one for $1,299.99. As an added perk, LG is bundling in a free S40TR soundbar—normally around $280—if you order before October 5.
Despite its small footprint (6.3 x 6.3 x 4.3 inches), the CineBeam S Mini is built to deliver a full home theater experience. It can project images up to 100 inches wide from close range thanks to its 0.25:1 ultra short throw ratio. Inside, a triple laser DLP system produces 4K resolution, 500 ANSI lumens brightness, and a hefty 450,000:1 contrast ratio. LG also claims 154% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, along with support for HDR10 and Filmmaker Mode.
On the usability front, the projector includes autofocus, automatic screen adjustment, and eight preset picture modes. It runs LG’s webOS platform, so streaming apps like Disney+, Apple TV, and Prime Video are available out of the box. Wireless casting through AirPlay and Miracast is supported too.
For sound, the unit has built-in speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility, though many buyers may pair it with the bundled soundbar for a fuller setup. Ports include HDMI eARC and USB-C.
With its mix of portability, modern streaming features, and an attractive launch deal, the CineBeam S Mini looks set to appeal to movie lovers who want a big-screen experience without a bulky projector.

Sony has started rolling out the Android 16 update to its flagship Xperia 1 VII, just as the device returns to shelves following a short pause over software glitches. The update, while significant on paper, lands with a lighter touch than some expected.
Sony Xperia 1 VII
The Xperia 1 VII originally shipped with Android 15. Now, firmware version 71.1.A.2.68 brings Android 16 to the device in a 1.1GB download. The rollout began in Europe and is available through the usual path: Settings > System > Software update. Sony has promised four major OS upgrades and six years of security support, meaning the phone should be supported up to Android 19.
The update delivers several useful features but avoids a dramatic redesign. Unlike Google’s Pixel phones, Sony has skipped the Material 3 Expressive look, leaving the interface close to what users already had on Android 15. The most noticeable change is a redesigned system settings app, while most other UI elements stay minimal and familiar.
On the feature side, Android 16 adds Google’s Advanced Protection, which users must enable manually. Once active, it blocks unsafe apps, flags scam calls, and warns against risky websites. Notifications are grouped more intelligently, support for hearing aids has improved, and users can now capture and share HDR screenshots.
Still, some features are missing. Live Updates, Google’s real-time push notifications for things like deliveries, aren’t present. The security patch also remains at August 2025, without a September update included yet.
Even without sweeping changes, Sony has beaten rivals like OnePlus to a stable Android 16 release. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage, the Xperia 1 VII remains a powerful option — and Sony’s quicker update cycle may help polish its reputation for software support.
Huawei is preparing to launch its latest wearables, and the company is hinting at a notable upgrade: tougher water resistance. With the Watch GT 6 series and the Watch Ultimate 2 expected to debut later this week, speculation is growing that one of these models will build on Huawei’s dive-ready design from last year’s Watch Ultimate.
Most smartwatches today are rated at 5ATM, meaning they can handle depths of up to 50 meters—enough for swimming or light snorkeling. Huawei broke new ground in 2023 when it introduced the Watch Ultimate (our review), which carried a 10ATM rating, allowing submersion down to 100 meters. That feature made it stand out for divers and anyone looking for a more rugged wearable.
Now, Huawei seems set to carry that durability into its new lineup. The obvious candidate is the Watch Ultimate 2, which could inherit or even improve on its predecessor’s casing. But there’s also interest in whether the Watch GT 6 series, a more affordable line, might benefit from enhanced endurance as well.
While design and early spec sheets have already surfaced, Huawei has kept quiet on which watch will get the upgrade. That leaves fans waiting for the official reveal to see how far the company is willing to extend its dive-proof technology.
Better water resistance isn’t just a marketing line—it’s a key feature for athletes, travelers, and outdoor users who want reliability in demanding conditions. If Huawei delivers, its new watches could appeal to both adventure seekers and casual users looking for a tougher smartwatch.
Huawei’s official announcement for the Watch GT 6 series is just around the corner, and the answer to which model will “dive deeper” should arrive then.
Xiaomi has introduced a new addition to its Mijia product line, the Mijia Outdoor Multifunctional Light, in the Chinese market. The device will be available through a crowdfunding campaign on Xiaomi Youpin from September 22 at a launch price of 89 yuan ($12).
Mijia Outdoor Light Specifications
The Mijia Multifunctional Light is designed specifically for outdoor environments and supports a wide range of lighting scenarios like camping, hiking, and night photography. It features a maximum brightness of 600 lumens, making it capable of lighting up areas as far as 110 meters.

Its brightness levels can be adjusted manually, allowing users to fine-tune the output to either extend battery life or achieve full intensity depending on the situation.
The light runs on a lithium-ion battery and supports long-lasting operation. It provides a runtime of 3 to 5 hours on high brightness and 10 to 36 hours on lower settings. The device charges via a USB Type-C port and also supports power bank input, allowing users to recharge it during travel or camping trips.
In addition to regular lighting, the Mijia Outdoor Light includes emergency features. It supports an SOS signaling mode and a red warning light, both useful during roadside emergencies or outdoor incidents. These functions help alert others and improve visibility in low-light or dangerous conditions.
The light carries an IP66 rating, ensuring strong resistance against water and dust. This makes it suitable for use in harsh environments such as rain, wind, or dusty trails. It features a quick-mount and release mechanism that simplifies setup and storage.
The product measures 57mm in length, 32mm in width, and 23.4mm in thickness. It weighs just 86 grams, making it lightweight and highly portable for outdoor use.
In related news, Xiaomi has recently unveiled two lifestyle products in China: the Mijia Titanium Thermos 1.2L, featuring a pure titanium body with an integrated tea infuser, and a smart neck pillow that offers massage and heating functions with smartphone connectivity

Motorola has been actively working on Android 16. It began beta testing in June for select devices and expanded its availability to more models over the coming weeks and months. After extensive beta testing, the brand has now started rolling out the stable update.
The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is reportedly the company’s first phone to get the stable Android 16 update. The update has been spotted in Brazil with the firmware version W1VV36H.7-21-5 and a download size of about 2GB.
The Edge 60 Pro is not the only Moto device getting the stable update. It’s also rolling out to the Edge 50 Fusion users in Mexico. For this device, the Android 16 update comes with the firmware version W1UU36H.21-14-3 and requires users to download a 1.54GB update package.
Edge 60 ProEdge 50 Fusion
Motorola Edge 60 Pro (Brazil): W1VV36H.7-21-5
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion (Mexico): W1UU36H.21-14-3
The Android 16 update for Motorola Edge 60 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion is currently available in select regions. It could soon expand to other regions. If you have any of these two smartphones, go to Settings > System > Advanced > System updates and tap on Check for updates to see available updates.
Both Motorola smartphones carry the same changelog for the Android 16 update, which reveals the phones are getting more customization features, a more expressive design, and more transparent background activities. The update also adds protection against malicious apps and improved compatibility with LE audio devices.
Notably, the changelog misses many exciting features that Google introduced with Android 16, including Live Updates for tracking ongoing activities without needing to open apps, intelligent notification grouping, an embedded photo picker, predictive back upgrades, HDR screenshots, new emojis, and more. We are not sure if Motorola has added them (or at least some of them) to the Android 16 update for the Edge 60 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion.

While most brands, including OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo, are busy with beta testing, Sony has already begun the stable rollout of Android 16. The update is currently available for the Sony Xperia 1 VII, which was released last year with Android 15.
The Android 16 update for the Sony Xperia 1 VII has the firmware version 71.1.A.2.68, and it’s about 1.13GB in size. This is the first of four major updates that Sony promises for the Xperia 1 VII. If you have got this smartphone, you can head over to Settings > System > Advanced and tap on Software update to install the latest update.
While it’s surprising to see Sony rolling out stable Android 16 ahead of Xiaomi, OnePlus, Vivo, and many other Android brands, the update mostly feels just like Android 15. Sony has only made marginal changes to the user interface. It skips major changes introduced by Google with Android 16, such as Live Updates and the new “Material 3 Expressive” design.
The Android 16 update for the Sony Xperia 1 VII doesn’t have a changelog. According to a Reddit user, the Android security patch level has not been upgraded, still at August 2025. The smartphone would majorly feel the same even after upgrading to Android 16, except for the revamped Settings app.
This upgrade also brings a number of security improvements to Sony phones to keep them safer and more secure. Google’s new Advanced Protection ensures users remain protected from malware and various threats. This feature also blocks apps and websites that Google doesn’t think are safe. Additionally, Android 16 brings intelligent notifications grouping and improved support for hearing aids.
Sony has only three more smartphones left to upgrade to Android 16, which include the Sony Xperia 10 VII, Xperia 1 VI, and Xperia 10 VI. Hence, I believe it wouldn’t take long to complete the rollout.
