W don’t see Xiaomi phones coming in red colours so often but once in a while, the tech giant tweaks things up with a Red flavoured version like the Phantom Red variant of the Redmi 8. Xiaomi recently introduced a Redmi Note 8 Pro Twilight Orange variant. We recently came across the first hands-on images of the new variant shared on Twitter by tipster @Sudhanshu1414.
The hands-on images reveal a vital design change on the Twilight orange variant. The device adopts a similar design with the other colour variants of the Redmi Note 8 Pro but the panel saw an upgrade. The Twilight Orange variant uses a frosted glass back instead of the smooth-textured glass panel used on the other four variants. The smartphone still retains an IP52 splash resistant body.

The Redmi Note 8 series was launched in China in August last year with the Redmi Note 8 Pro at the forefront. The Redmi Note 8 Pro came out as the world’s first to come with 64-megapixel primary camera sensor.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro Twilight Orange colour option comes in two variants — 6GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at 1,399 yuan (~$201) and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at 1,599 yuan (~$230).
