Lenovo‘s entry-level K series has had a successful run over the years just like the Z series. So, it is no surprise there is a new leak regarding a new K series model. The Lenovo K9 released in 2018 was the last model in the series. There are already leaks about a Lenovo K10 but right now, the Lenovo K11 has been spotted on the Android Enterprise device list, with some key specs and render in tow. The device was also listed by a UAE-based retailer.
The device is listed with a 6.2-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The phone also packs 4GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. for interface, the K11 will run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor onboard the device.
The K11 was also listed on the website of UAE retailer Carrefour with an AED 599 ($163) price tag. The listing also shed more light on the design and specifications of the model. Perhaps, the most spectacular is the triple rear camera setup with the device packs. The cameras are arranged vertically and located at the top left corner. The primary camera is a 12MP sensor. Two of the sensors are housed in a single module while the third sensor which is likely a dept sensor sits on its own. Same thing with the LED flash.
The listing also shows the device will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. In addition, the device will pack a 3300mAh battery The battery will feature a 3,300 mAh capacity. We expect the phone to be released soon. What we don’t know is if the K10 and K11 will be launching at the same time. The Lenovo K10 was recently certified in Thailand, making the entire K series naming system confusing. It is likely, some regions will get the K10 while others will get the K11. The specs may just be slightly different but we are not sure about that.
The Galaxy Note10 series might have as many members as the Galaxy S10 series. Alongside the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+, we will also be getting a Galaxy Note10+ 5G. A new leak has confirmed the device exists and will be available in the US.
The leak is a promo material that was shared on Twitter by @evleaks (Evan Blass). It shows the Galaxy Note10+ 5G along with a stylus pen. It also reveals the phone will be available first at American wireless carrier, Verizon.
The poster even says those who pre-order the Galaxy Note10+ 5G will get a free Note10 (with Unlimited). Both phones are shown in the poster.
The Note10+ 5G should have mostly the same specs as the LTE version of the Galaxy Note10+ which has a 6.8-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution. It also has a 10MP selfie camera, an in-display fingerprint scanner, quad-rear cameras, a 4300mAh battery with 45W fast charge technology, 12GB of RAM and 512GB/1TB of storage.
Samsung will announce the new Galaxy Note10 series on August 7 and they will go on sale on August 23.
HMD Global’s Nokia is having a good run in the smartphone industry mostly due to the brand identity and its impressive products that met the expectations of the teeming Nokia fans globally. One aspect where Nokia phones have really impressed us is in the camera configuration. If the latest leak turns out to be true, Nokia could be set to release its first pop-up camera-packing smartphone soon. That phone is the Nokia 8.2 and according to tipster Ishan Agarwal, the phone will debut with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera.
The Nokia 8.2 is a mid-range phone and would take over from the Nokia 8.1 which was launched in December last year. Nokia 8.1 came with a notch design which houses the selfie camera but this time around, Nokia is getting on the pop-up trend. This year has seen a surge in the number of smartphones with mechanical retractable selfie cameras and so, it won’t be surprising if Nokia is also joining the train.
Apart from the pop-up camera, the phone is also expected to come with Google’s latest Android Q operating system. It will also have up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, most likely on the high-end model. There is likely going to be other lesser memory configurations. The phone is expected to launch sometime in Q3 2019 but we can’t guarantee the authenticity of these details. However, we should add that the tipster has got a pretty good track record so far.
The Galaxy Book 2 launched last year as a 2-in-1 Windows 10 (Windows 10 S out of the box) laptop powered by a Snapdragon processor. It appears a successor is coming this year and it will launch as the Galaxy Book S.
The name was confirmed in a leak by Evan Blass yesterday but the device was already in the news before then. It turns out that a device with the name “Galaxy Space” was seen on Geekbench recently. It is believed that the “S” in the name Galaxy Book S stands for Space.
The benchmark result showed the device runs Windows 10 and has 8GB of RAM. There is also an octa-core processor clocked at 2.84GHz.
Apart from the Geekbench sighting, the device was also spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website but this time as the Galaxy Book S. It has Bluetooth 5.0 and its model number is revealed to be SM-W767.
The Galaxy Book S is believed to have a 2-in-1 design like the Galaxy Book 2. It should have a touch display (Super AMOLED), a detachable keyboard, and also an S Pen. It should also have an LTE modem.
There is no info on its release date yet but seeing as it has already received Bluetooth certification, a launch date may be around the corner. However, Samsung may begin selling it at a much later date.
A couple of months ago the ZTE Axon 10 Pro got 20x hybrid zoom via a software update from the company. This time ZTE is showing off the Axon 10 Pro 5G’s 20x hybrid zoom capabilities before the device’s slated launch. Clearly, ZTE is pretty proud of the setup they have going on here, and it’s not much of a surprise to see why.
On the backside, the phone has a triple camera setup that includes an OIS enabled 48-megapixel main sensor, an ultra-wide 20-megapixel lens, and an OIS assisted 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities. The front notch houses a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G is IP68 certified to ensure that it’s dust-proof and waterproof. It comes equipped with a 6.47-inch full HD AMOLED display with a little teardrop notch too. There’s even an under display fingeprint sensor on-board. The Snapdragon 855 SoC cocmes as a standard, and for 5G connectivity we’ve got the Snapdragon X50 5G modem. Backing that up we’ve got up to12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
In the software department, the smartphone comes running MiFavor 9.1 user interface based Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the-box. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that comes with wireless charging support as well as support for Quick Charge 4+ fast charging technology.
As of right now, the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model of the smartphone is available for reservation in China for a price of 4,999 yuan, which roughly converts to $726. If you’re not a big fan of blue, then you’re out of luck. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G comes exclusively in blue, though it’s certainly not a bad look for the device.

Apple‘s sales have seen a recent dip, but it seems the company is optimistic that sales will stabilize soon. Apple suppliers are currently planning to produce parts for up to 75 million iPhones for the second half of the year. This is equal to last year’s amount, which means they’re probably expecting sales to stabilize soon enough.
Now, it’s important to note that while they may be planning for 75 million units, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll manage to sell that many. It does however mean that Apple expects to sell close to that amount. Whether their confidence is misplaced or not remains to be seen, though it’s fully possible considering it’s a brand new launch.
Apple has recently stopped publicly reporting unit sales of iPhones and other products in its quarterly earnings releases, making it more difficult for analysts and others to track those numbers over time and requiring them to calculate unit sales based on reported revenue numbers and estimated average prices.
If you’ve been on the internet as of late, there’s a high chance you’ve seen renders for the new iPhone. Now personally I’m not a big fan of the new design, but there’s no doubt in my mind that it’ll still do well. The big question is, how well will it do in the currently more competitive market? We’ll have to wait and see.
Huawei has already announced its first foldable smartphone Huawei Mate X but the smartphone is yet to go on sale. Ahead of the phone is available commercially, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Division was spotted using the phone at an airport.
As per the reports, the Huawei Mate X smartphone received the network license earlier this month and supports traditional GSM, CDMA, CDMA2000, WCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE-FDD, as well as 5G with NSA and SA networking methods.
MAte X was earlier spotted in the hands of Huawei exec Richard Yu
The device was recently listed on TENAA, revealing its full specifications. The listing revealed that the foldable smartphone will come with an 8-inch external OLED display with 2480 x 2200 pixels screen resolution.
When folded, it transforms into a dual-display phone – one side is a 6.6-inch with 2480 x 1148 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 ratio while the other is a 6.38-inch display with 2480 x 892 pixels resolution and 25:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the company’s own Kirin 980 octa-core flagship processor clocked at 2.6GHz and comes in three variants based on the memory configuration — 6/8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256/512 GB of internal storage. It comes with the 7nm Balong 5000 modem which brings 5G support to the device.
The phone also comes with support for NM card allowing users to further expand the phone’s storage capacity up to 256 GB. As for the connectivity options, the device supports NFC, dual-frequency GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and USB Type-C port.
It features a 40-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a ToF 3D camera. The Mate X is also equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The TENAA listing also reveals that the device is running Android 9 Pie operating system out-of-the-box and is likely to have EMUI 9.1 custom interface on top. The phone is fuelled by a 4,400mAh battery and could support SupercCharge fast charging technology which supports up to 55W.
Xiaomi is one of the leading brands in the smart wearables and fitness trackers market, thanks to its popular Mi Band series devices. The company also has an app named “Mi Fit” that rounds up data for all of its wearables and fitness-related products.
However, the company is now working on a new far-reaching application named Mi Health. The app was spotted in a new beta build of the MIUI and seems to be sharing many features of the Mi Fit app.
The Mi Health application was found on the 9.7.23 China Developer Build of MIUI. From the images shared online, it seems that using this app, users will be able to track their steps as well as sleep rate, that too in the background.
The app also comes with features like a menstruation cycle calendar, a tracker of exercise goals and BMI (Body Mass Index) and Health Scores. If you want to use this app now, you’ll have to download the apk file and sideload it but you must be either on the Xiaomi beta program or have a completely rooted smartphone.
While the Mi Health app seems to be coming soon, it is not yet clear if the China-based company is planning to replace the existing Mi Fit application or both the apps will co-exist and offer users choice between wider functionality and smaller footprint.
RED’s Hydrogen One was one of the most hyped and awaited device but when it got launched, it turned out to be a major disappointment and ultimately flopped when it reached the markets.
While the phone had some interesting features, the device was certainly overpriced, costing at around $,1295. The shipping of the Titanium model priced at $1,595 was so late that the company shipped it for free for those who pre-ordered the phone.
Now, the company’s founder Jim Jannard blamed the Hydrogen One fiasco on the phone’s original design manufacturer (ODM) in China. He noted that the ODM was responsible for putting together the new technologies used in the handset while integrating the software with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC used to power the device.
RED Hydrogen One
However, as per Jannard, the ODM used by the company “significantly underperformed.” He did, however, have praise for Foxconn. He called the job done by the contract manufacturer “Fantastic.”
He also confirmed that RED has started working on the Hydrogen Two smartphone and the company is building the device almost from scratch. This time, the company is used a new ODM which Jim says is “clearly more capable of building and supporting the product we (and our customers) demand.”
The company has also created a new camera module named “Komodo” which integrates both the Hydrogen One and HydrogenTwo phones. The new module will produce “cinema-grade images at the highest level at lower pricing,” claims Jim.
Further, he added that the users of Hydrogen One smartphone will be receiving preferential treatment on allotments and pricing of the new cinema camera and the Hydrogen Two smartphone but he has not revealed more about this.
The Hydrogen One features a 5.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
In the camera department, the phone features dual 12.3-megapixel cameras on the back, capturing images in RED’s 3D holographic format if so desired. And in front, there’s an 8MP selfie snapper. It is fuelled by a 4,500mAh battery which provides good battery life.
It will be interesting to see how RED manages to regain the trust of customers who were let down by the delays in the shipping of the company’s first smartphone as well as the phone itself. Manufacturers generally do not get second change, especially when it comes to premium smartphones with high pricing.

Huawei is expected to unleash the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro flagship phones in October. Since the launch is few months, the rumor mill is now actively working on leaking information on the Mate 30 series. Yesterday, some live shots of the Mate 30 Pro had surfaced on Weibo to reveal that it will be featuring a wider notch that could be packed with multiple sensors for Face ID like the predecessor Mate 20 Pro. Fresh images of the screen protectors of the alleged Mate 30 and 30 Pro smartphones have appeared today. The leak reveals that even the Mate 30 phone will be equipped with a wider notch. The trail production of the Mate 30 series has started.
Alleged Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro screen protectors
In the above image, the Mate 30 screen protector is shown on the left whereas the one on the right is for Mate 30 Pro. In terms of design, both seems to be equipped with dual-edge curved displays. Hence, it appears that the Mate 30 will be the first non-Pro Mate series flagship phone to feature a curved display. The curvature on both screen protectors are slightly different. The Mate 30 Pro is said to be equipped with COP (chip-on-plastic) technology for its display.
Compared to the notch found on the Mate 20 Pro, the Mate 30 series seems to feature a narrower notch. The bottom bezel of the phone is also quite slim. A careful look at the notch on both images suggest that Mate 30 and 30 Pro have slightly different arrangements for the sensors.
The multiple sensors on the notch of the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro phones could be for the 3D facial unlock like the predecessor Mate 20 Pro phone. The images of the protective film have surfaced because the film manufacturing factories have started producing it. A leakster has claimed that the screen protector of the Mate 30 series is the most difficult surface film in history. He has also said that the Mate 30 Pro has entered trial production phase.
Rumors have so far revealed that the Mate 30 Pro will be equipped with a 6.71-inch display that will produce quad HD+ resolution. The smartphone could be fueled by Kirin 985 chipset and it may come with up to 12 GB of RAM. The Mate 30 Pro could be packed with a 4,200mAh battery that may arrive with support for 55W fast charging. The handset could be blessed with an advanced quad camera setup. There could be a 5G version of the Mate 30 Pro. As of this writing, there is no information available on the specifications of the Mate 30 handset.

The Huawei Mate 30 series smartphones, the flagship lineup from the Chinese giant, is expected to get launched in the second half of this year. Now, the latest reports related to the smartphone claims that the company will use a dual-camera setup this time.
The report adds that the Huawei Mate 30 series will ditch the company’s top-of-the-line periscope setup for the rear camera module and will instead come with a new dual-camera setup that will have a dual-size Sony IMX600 series sensors.
It goes on to add that Sony and Huawei are working together for this custom camera sensor and the dimensions could reach 1/1.7 inches and 1/1.5 inches. If this turns out to be true, then it will set a record for the CMOS size of the phone’s camera module.
Coming to the specifications, rumors indicate that the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, both the devices will come with a full-screen design and under the hood, the devices will be equipped with the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 985 chipset.
The processor will be made using TSMC’s second-generation 7nm EUV ultra-UV lithography process and the FC-PoP packaging process will continue to integrate 5G basebands but the company can also provide support for 5G basebands externally.
As for the phone’s battery, the smartphones are expected to pack around 4,200mAh battery and will come with support for 55W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging technology. Given the company’s past record, we expect the Mate 30 series to go official around September this year. To know for sure, we’ll have to wait for a few more weeks.

Honor announced a revolutionary product category around a week back in China, called Smart Screens. These are large screen devices, similar to a TV, but much smarter and connected, catering to the needs of the modern-day user. However, after teasing the new product, Honor didn’t reveal much about the new device category. That changed yesterday night as Honor confirms that the new Smart Screen product will meet us at HDC 2019 to be held from August 9-11.
In an official Weibo post, Huawei announced a teaser for the Smart Screen to be showcased at this year’s developer’s conference in China. It reads, “When mobile phones are no longer mobile phones, computers are no longer computers, what would a smart product look like if it was raised to the Nth power?”.
Honor then forwarded the same Weibo post asking its followers whether they were looking forward to it. The teaser image shows us an outline of the human figure with all kinds of smart products inside. Clearly, the event will be a very good platform to unveil the new device, along with its software, possibly the new HongMeng OS.
Huawei dropped a teaser a couple of days back that shows one platform that powers everything smart
Huawei had released a teaser earlier as well, which showed one platform representing all kinds of smart products. Given that HongMeng was developed to be a one stop solution to everything smart, it looks like we are going to get our first glimpse of the OS at the event. Interestingly, Huawei executive has said that HongMeng is not really made for smartphones. So, the new operating system’s target market is likely going to be this new Smart Screen from Honor, and probably a bunch of other smart products.
Given Huawei’s willingness to drop in a few teasers before the official event in August, we can expect to see more details in the coming days.
