This Could Be Our First Look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra

Concept renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have just surfaced online, giving fans an early of what the next Ultra flagship might look like. But this unofficial render might offer us a hint at the brand’s next top smartphone model. So here’s what you need to know.

Is the Galaxy S26 Ultra getting a design refresh?

The South Korean tech giant’s 2026 flagship phone was spotted in a recent concept art, which revealed some minor changes to the rear design. While the overall layout is basically the same, the three vertically stacked cameras, which include the main, ultra wide, and periscope telephoto, are housed in a slightly raised oval shaped module. This surprisingly looks similar to the new Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy S25 Edge.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

Know tipster Ice Universe shared a tweet with this concept render, stating that it’s unclear if this is the actual design for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, but adds that there is a “pretty high chance” of the next gen flagship having a similar look overall. Samsung might be using this raised camera module to house the larger main camera and new telephoto shooter, while also slimming down the S26 Ultra. So the bigger bump should offer more space for the camera components.

Based on what we know so far, Samsung could equip the next Ultra flagship with a new HP2+ main camera with a larger sensor size and wider aperture. Its battery pack could remain at 5,000mAh, but the fast charging rate is expected to get a bump to 65W. The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is rumored to power the S26 Ultra, meanwhile, the base Galaxy S26 could be equipped with Samsung’s high end Exynos 2600 SoC.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra to be the sole Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 flagship with dual periscope camera

Oppo is not ready to give up on its dual periscope camera setup just yet. According to a new leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra will once again be the only flagship among its peers to feature two periscope telephoto lenses.

While many brands are sticking to a single telephoto, Oppo has been going in the opposite direction for a few generations now.

The Find X9 Ultra is reportedly equipped with a quad-camera system co-developed with Hasselblad. The primary could be a 200MP sensor joined by three 50MP lenses

Among them, two are periscope telephotos while the remaining is an ultrawide sensor. That makes it one of the few phones in the industry to offer two 50MP sensors on the back.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra, the sole Android flagship with dual telephoto

The obvious benefit of a dual telephoto is more focal length coverage. Dual periscope lenses allow for zooming at different distances without relying on digital cropping. Such a setup means users have more flexibility and get better image quality when switching between zoom levels.

In terms of hardware, the Find X9 Ultra will reportedly use a 2K flat display, run on Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, and ship with ColorOS 16, likely based on Android 16.

The base Find X9 and Find X9 Pro should arrive later this year, while the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra could launch in early 2026.

Looking at its predecessor, the Find X8 Ultra features a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, dual periscopes with 3x and 6x optical zoom, and a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display. We will likely know more about Oppo’s next flagship lineup later this year.

Haier launches Pet Love V40 robot vacuum with 20,000Pa suction & AI Smart Eye sensor

Haier has introduced a new high-end robot vacuum and mop in China, named the Pet Love V40. The product is now available on JD.com for 3,299 yuan ($461). The V40 targets pet owners and users looking for a fully automated cleaning experience. Let’s take a look at its key specifications.

Haier Pet Love V40

Haier Pet Love V40 Specifications

The Pet Love V40 features a powerful 20,000Pa suction system powered by Haier’s self-developed high-speed motor and a sealed negative-pressure airflow design. Haier claims the vacuum can achieve a 100% large-particle pickup rate, making it suitable for carpets, hard flooring, and floor gaps.

The robot is equipped with Haier’s AI Smart Eye sensor system, which uses real-time vision to detect stains, pet messes, and debris. Based on the type of dirt detected, the system selects appropriate cleaning patterns, including one to four V-shaped scrubbing passes. The vacuum relies on Haier’s proprietary A1smart-home algorithm to process dirt data and adjust its behavior accordingly.

Haier has added a Fast Rotating V-Force mopping arm that mimics human hand-wiping motion. It completes four overlapping passes to remove tough stains without leaving residue. The robot also includes a dual mechanical arm structure and 360-degree omnidirectional movement for better wall-to-wall coverage.

The main brush incorporates a 64-blade dual-edge cutter that automatically trims tangled hair when the robot returns to the dock. The device also uses a side brush and 4cm outward-extending mop pads for edge and corner cleaning. It measures 98mm in height, allowing it to reach under most furniture.

Haier Pet Love V40

The Pet Love V40 features automatic lifting for both the brush and mop. The system detects carpeted areas and adjusts its components accordingly to avoid cross-contamination between mopping and sweeping. The dock heats water between 40°C and 75°C for deep cleaning and supports 360-degree active rinsing and 42dB hot air drying.

The V40 includes a full self-maintenance system. It automatically cuts hair, collects dust, refills water, dispenses detergent, washes pads, and dries them. The dock has a 4.2L clean water tank, a 4.0L dirty water tank, and uses 600W suction for dust bag cleaning. It produces 79dB(A) noise during dust collection.

The robot runs on a 5,200mAh battery and supports OTA software updates. It connects with the Haier Smart Home app for zone control, map management, and remote video monitoring through its onboard AI camera. Users can store up to four floor maps and control cleaning through voice commands.

Haier claims the V40 has passed more than 10,000 press tests and five million impact tests. The robot weighs around 3.75kg and supports obstacle climbing up to 20mm. It includes anti-drop sensors and carpet edge detection. The model is certified for baby-grade hygiene and ships with antibacterial accessories that Haier says remove 99.9% of bacteria.

In related news, Mova recently launched the Z60 Pro robot vacuum with AI-powered roller mopping and 4100Pa suction. The company also introduced the G12 Mix, a 5-in-1 floor scrubber featuring 18,000Pa suction and 180° flat-lay cleaning

Samsung Galaxy A07 design, display, and processor details leak

It looks like brands are getting ready to refresh their entry-level lineups. Redmi is gearing up to launch both the Redmi 15 4G and 5G variants, while Samsung seems to have the Galaxy A07 waiting in the wings.

The Galaxy A07 has popped up in the Google Play Console listing, giving us an early peek at what’s likely on the way. While nothing’s official just yet, the listing does spill some key details, including a glimpse of the design and a handful of core specs.

Galaxy A07 keeps it simple, and that’s the point

The A07 appears to stick to the basics, with a 720×1600 resolution display and a familiar waterdrop notch. The traits suggest this is still very much an entry-level phone.

Samsung Galaxy A07 Design

Inside, it’s powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset, a 4G-only SoC that’s been making the rounds in affordable Android phones for a while now. The listing also shows 6GB of RAM, which is a welcome upgrade for a phone in this tier.

Software-wise, Samsung is opting for Android 15 out of the box. Android 16 is already out, even for Samsung’s flagship Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. But looks like it will take time to reach the budget model.

Design-wise, Samsung appears to be applying its new mid-range aesthetic here as well. The phone features a unified oval-shaped camera island, instead of the separate circular camera cutouts we’ve seen in past Galaxy A models.

While other key specs like battery capacity and camera hardware haven’t leaked yet, this early appearance on Google’s database suggests a full reveal isn’t far off. We will keep you in the loop if any new details surface.

Vivo X300 camera specifications tipped again, telephoto macro support revealed

Recently, tipster Digital Chat Station released Weibo posts to reveal the camera specifications of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. Now, in a new Weibo post, he has shared more details about the X300’s cameras. The leak suggests that it will offer a significant improvement in the photography department compared to the X200 from last year.

Last week, DCS revealed that the Vivo X300’s rear camera setup will include a 200-megapixel main camera backed by a 1/1.4-inch image sensor. It will be joined by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

In a newer Weibo post, the tipster claimed that the phone will also support in-sensor zoom with high-quality 35mm and 50mm crop modes. He added that the periscope camera, which will be equipped with a 1/2-inch sensor, will support 3x optical zoom via a prism design. While it’s not a flagship-style large periscope setup, the tipster revealed that it will support telephoto macro photography.

While the predecessor model featured a 6.67-inch OLED display, reports surrounding the X300 suggest that it will be a compact offering featuring a 6.31-inch screen. The screen is said to be integrated with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is also said to come with other features like wireless charging and full waterproofing.

According to reports, the Vivo X300 Pro is expected to feature an impressive triple-camera setup, headlined by the all-new 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main sensor. This primary camera features a large 1.13-inch sensor size with 1.22μm pixels and supports Hybrid Frame-HDR technology, which combines Dual Conversion Gain and a Variable Shutter for a dynamic range exceeding 100dB, even surpassing that of Sony’s 1-inch LYT900 sensor. Complementing the main camera are a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, the latter using a 1/1.4-inch sensor for high-quality long-range shots.

The Vivo X300 series will debut either by September-end or in October. Both phones will feature the Dimensity 9500 chipset.

Honor Magic 8 Mini may feature Dimensity 9500, Honor’s Dimensity 8500 phone also in the works

Honor is expected to unveil the Honor Magic 8 series of smartphones this year in October. The lineup debuting this year may include only two models: the Honor Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro. The brand may also unveil the Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design, a more premium version of the Pro with a few changes. Rumours are rife that the lineup will comprise a compact model, which is tentatively dubbed the Honor Magic 8 Mini. A new development reveals that the device may feature a Dimensity chipset.

Honor Magic 8 Mini may feature Dimensity 9500

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Honor is currently testing the Dimensity 9500 and Dimensity 8500 chipsets. Among the two, the Dimensity 9500 is being tested in a compact flagship device featuring a 6.31-inch display. This device is said to be the Magic 8 Mini.

Leaks suggest that the Dimensity 9500 could debut as early as September. The Vivo X300 series, which is expected to launch by the end of September or in October, will be the first to feature the D9500. The Oppo Find X9 series, expected in October, may also feature the said SoC.

DCS adds that Honor is testing the Dimensity 8500 on a new mid-range device powered by an ultra-large battery. While the moniker of this device is not known yet, it is expected to rival the Redmi Turbo 5, which is also said to feature the same chipset.

Coming back to the Honor Magic 8 Mini, DCS revealed at the beginning of this month that it will not debut alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2v-powered Magic 8 and 8 Pro. Therefore, it is likely that the device may debut in the first half of 2026.

In September, Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Xiaomi 16 series, which may include three models, such as the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini (tentative name), and Xiaomi 16 Pro. Since the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was announced in February this year, it is likely that the 16 Ultra may break cover around the same time next year. As per a new Weibo post released by Lu Weibing, Partner and President of Xiaomi Group, as well as the President of the Smartphone Department and General Manager of the Xiaomi brand, the 16 Ultra will set heights in the world of mobile photography.

In a new Weibo post, Weibing said he was honored to be invited to Shanghai to celebrate Leica’s 100th anniversary. As a special gesture, he presented the Xiaomi 15 Ultra “Centennial Tribute” global limited collector’s gift box to Mr. Kaufmann, Chairman of Leica’s Supervisory Board.

Reflecting on the Xiaomi-Leica partnership, he noted that over the past four years, both companies have collaborated on more than 20 smartphone models. He described the cooperation as both enjoyable and highly productive. Emphasizing the strength of their relationship, he said Xiaomi and Leica have always been close partners and will continue to be so in the future.

He expressed strong confidence that the upcoming Xiaomi 16 Ultra will represent a new milestone in mobile imaging. Meanwhile, tipster Digital Chat Station speculated that since Xiaomi has already started teasing the 16 Ultra, it might even debut earlier than expected, possibly before the end of this year.

Like the Xiaomi 16 series models, the 16 Ultra is expected to feature a flat display. However, it is unclear whether the device will feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset or the company’s in-house and forthcoming Xring O2 chip. A recent leak claimed that it may feature a 1-inch 50-megapixel main camera, a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera backed by a 1.28-inch sensor with up to 5x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel front camera. It may pack a 7000mAh to 7500mAh battery.

While it is slightly heavier than your typical smartphone controller, you get a console controller quality design with great buttons and sticks. There is even support for PS5 Remote Play and Xbox Game Pass, just like the Backbone One. Thanks to its Hall sensor sticks, gamers can avoid the frustrating stick drift issue that plagues even the more expensive console controllers.
