Eureka J15 Max Ultra Robot Vacuum Review: Flagship Specs, Smarter Cleaning

I didn’t expect to revisit the J15 series this soon. After spending weeks testing the Eureka J15 Pro Ultra earlier this year, I thought I had a good understanding of where Eureka stood in the robot vacuum landscape: good hardware, promising features, and just enough quirks to keep it from surpassing the likes of Roborock or Narwal.

But the J15 Max Ultra surprised me. It feels like Eureka took the feedback seriously and delivered something that not only fixes the Pro Ultra’s flaws but also pushes the feature envelope into territory that starts to feel genuinely next-gen.

This robot vacuum doesn’t just look like a spec bump. After putting it through its paces in my office, a space that gathers dust, hair, and debris like a magnet, I can safely say this is a meaningful upgrade.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

From transparent spill detection to better corner cleaning and improved AI navigation, the Max Ultra earns its flagship badge more convincingly than its predecessor. It still makes some noise, literally and metaphorically, but this time, the improvements are hard to ignore.

Let’s break it down.

Design & Build Quality

From a design standpoint, the J15 Max Ultra doesn’t differ much from the Pro Ultra. It still has that purposeful, rounded-square footprint that I’ve come to appreciate for its corner-reach advantage, and the LiDAR turret still sits on top like a periscope. But look closer, and there are some refinements that hint at how much has changed beneath the surface.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

The robot itself is slightly taller than I’d prefer, owing again to that turret and new sensor array up front. Eureka has now bundled in a dual-camera setup, one Full HD RGB sensor, and an infrared sensor that enables IntelliView AI 2.0. That’s the tech behind its new ability to detect transparent liquids, and while we’ll get into how well that works later, I’ll say this: the physical integration is clean. The sensors sit inside a blacked-out window at the front, giving the robot a high-tech, almost stealthy appearance.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

Material choices are similar to the Pro Ultra. My unit is finished in matte black with glossy accents around the sensors and camera array. The matte texture keeps fingerprints at bay, which is important when you’re handling the robot for cleaning or inspection. Glossy sections still attract dust, but it’s a trade-off I’m used to.

The side brush now uses a new “DragonClaw” design with V-shaped bristles that supposedly reduces tangling. More importantly, it’s mounted on an extending arm, a new feature Eureka calls “SweepExtend.” This is paired with the returning ScrubExtend mop arm, and together they aim to hit corners more effectively than any bot I’ve used before. And spoiler: they actually do.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

The wheels are chunky and soft-rubber coated, with independent suspension that feels robust under pressure. Underneath, the main roller brush retains the hybrid bristle-rubber design, reinforced by the FlexiRazor hair-cutting system. I opened it up after several sessions, and it was nearly spotless, rare for a space that collects long human hair and fine debris.

The dock is still massive. Taller than before, with the same angled front and double-hatch top lid housing the clean and dirty water tanks. Each holds over 3L, and the dust bag has a 3L capacity too. If you’re tight on space, this station will demand some rearrangement, but the flip side is that you won’t be babysitting it constantly.

The most underrated change here is the self-cleaning base tray. The previous model cleaned the mop pads well, but the tray itself was left dirty unless you wiped it down manually. The Max Ultra fixes that with a built-in scraper system that dries and sweeps debris into the main dust bag. It’s one of those quality-of-life improvements that sounds small but adds up over weeks of use.

Setup

Setup was, thankfully, uneventful. The robot still only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, so I had to temporarily split my mesh network again, but once paired, the app took over and walked me through everything.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

Initial mapping was fast, under 10 minutes, and impressively accurate. It detected furniture edges, created room divisions, and even flagged no-go zones around clutter. The LiDAR and dual-camera array clearly helped here, and the map was editable right after the first pass. I could name rooms, merge zones, and draw spot-cleaning areas without a hitch.

I use the J15 Max Ultra primarily in my office, which is chaotic: dusty corners, scattered cables, and, since it’s monsoon season in India, frequent hairfall that makes the floor even messier. The robot had no issue adjusting to this chaos. The only manual step was filling the clean water tank. Like the Pro Ultra, there’s no detergent tank, so if you want a bit of shine, you’ll have to add cleaner manually.

Performance

This is where the Max Ultra truly sets itself apart.

The headline upgrade is IntelliView AI 2.0, a dual-sensor vision system that can detect transparent spills, think water, Sprite, or pet bowl dribbles, and react appropriately. And yes, it works. I tested it by spilling clear water on white tile. The robot paused, lifted the roller brush, rotated slightly, and deployed only the mop to clean the spill without contaminating the dry bin. That’s a first for me. No guesswork, no app alerts, just smart, seamless cleanup.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

General vacuuming is more powerful too. The Max Ultra bumps suction up to 22,000Pa, and it shows. Even on “Standard” mode, it lifted fine dust and debris embedded in tile grout. “Turbo” mode practically yanked loose hairs off the floor. And thanks to smarter carpet detection, the robot automatically ramps up suction on fabric surfaces and raises the mop pad when needed.

The FlexiRazor hair-cutting system continues to be a quiet hero. In my office, human hair is the main challenge, long, loose strands that typically wrap around rollers. After ten full cleanings, the brush was nearly clear. The system cuts through hair 400 times per minute, and this time, it feels like it’s actually living up to the claim.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

The mopping system is where Eureka remains ahead of many rivals. The rotating pads scrub with downward pressure, and the ScrubExtend mechanism reaches baseboards and skirting better than anything I’ve tested.

Noise levels during regular operation are tolerable. The real disruption happens during self-cleaning. When the robot returns to base, the mop rinsing, self-emptying, and hot-air drying kick in. It’s loud, especially the vacuum burst that empties the dustbin, but it only lasts 10 to 15 seconds. If you’re in a meeting or on a call, you’ll want to schedule cleaning runs outside your work hours.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

Obstacle avoidance has also improved. The robot’s sensor array now includes a line laser and IR emitter in addition to the RGB camera and LiDAR. It consistently avoided chair legs, trash bins, and even power cables. I didn’t see it bump into a single piece of furniture in over a dozen runs.

One odd quirk persists, though: the robot still skips cleaning the area directly in front of its base station unless you manually define a spot-clean zone. I had to do the same workaround I used with the Pro Ultra, set a daily cleanup around the dock to catch missed debris.

Battery life is decent. The 6400mAh pack gives you around 140 to 160 minutes of mixed cleaning, depending on your settings.

Software

Eureka’s app is surprisingly competent. It’s responsive, minimal, and well organized. All the expected features are here: zone cleaning, map saving, accessory wear tracking, scheduled runs, water temperature control, drying time options, and AI-enhanced smart cleaning mode.

There’s also a patrol mode that lets you drive the robot like a security camera on wheels. You can view live video, take snapshots, and even record clips. It’s mostly a gimmick, but it’s a fun one. The upgraded FHD camera helps here, delivering sharper video than the Pro Ultra.

Another new feature is Pet Mode, which trains the robot to avoid certain stains like pet waste or spills. I don’t have pets, so I couldn’t fully test this, but the logic seems solid: use IR to detect reflective surfaces, avoid potential mess, and alert the user.

It still isn’t perfect though. Occasionally, the robot resumes a paused clean too early and ends up returning to the dock again mid-job. Map syncing between floors can also lag. But none of this is deal-breaking. Firmware updates are rolling out monthly, and the foundation feels solid enough to build on.

Limitations

Despite the upgrades, the J15 Max Ultra still has some weak spots.

First, the dock is loud. Mop drying is gentler now, but the self-emptying vacuum cycle is jarring. Not ideal if your dock is in a bedroom or shared workspace.

Eureka J15 Max Ultra Review

Second, the robot’s height prevents it from going under most furniture below 12cm. The LiDAR turret remains fixed and non-retractable. For homes with low-clearance sofas, this could be a limitation.

There’s still no detergent tank, and the robot skips the immediate perimeter around the dock unless manually zoned.

Final Thoughts

After living with the Eureka J15 Max Ultra for several weeks, I feel confident saying this is a major step forward for Eureka’s robot vacuum ambitions. The company has ironed out a lot of the frustrations I had with the Pro Ultra: it sees hair better, dodges furniture more smartly, and handles spills with a level of intelligence that genuinely surprised me.

It’s not flawless. The base station is huge and loud. The robot’s top-mounted sensors still limit where it can go. And some minor software quirks remain. But for a product that retails around $1,199 and may often dip lower during sales, this is a seriously competent flagship.

More impressively, it now feels on par with what brands like Roborock and Dreame are offering. I genuinely didn’t expect Eureka to close the gap so quickly, and yet, here it is, delivering transparent spill detection, better AI logic, and edge-to-edge cleaning in a single generation leap.

If you’re looking for a fantastic robot vacuum around the $1,000 mark, the J15 Max Ultra is a steal deal. It handles complex messes, mops like a pro, cuts through hair, avoids your furniture, and maintains itself without much intervention.

Not perfect, but closer than most. And in a space this competitive, “closer than most” is actually saying a lot.

Oppo K13 Turbo series to launch on July 21 with two chipsets

Oppo is getting ready to unveil its K13 Turbo lineup in China on July 21. The series will include two smartphones: the K13 Turbo and the K13 Turbo Pro. Now, promotional material circulating on Chinese social media has revealed the chipset details of both phones.

Snapdragon for Pro, MediaTek for vanilla

According to a newly leaked poster on Weibo, the OPPO K13 Turbo Pro will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. It’s expected to offer high-end performance and will be available in four memory options: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB.

The Pro model will also come in three colours, Black Warrior, First Purple, and Knight Silver, giving users a few distinct styles to pick from.

On the other hand, the standard K13 Turbo will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. Despite the different processor, it will feature the same memory combinations as the Pro model. Its colour options 0include Black Warrior, First Purple, and a slightly different shade called Knight White.

Design-wise, both phones are expected to share many features. The Pro model was recently spotted on Geekbench with 16GB of RAM, and leaks suggest that both versions will likely feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED display with a 2800 x 1280 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Both phones might share the same optics, including a 50MP main rear sensor, a 2MP secondary lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. And they both are likely to have a built-in cooling fan, along with RGB lighting for visual appeal.

Interestingly, despite the addition of moving parts, the K13 Turbo is expected to be IPX8 certified.

Galaxy S26 Edge may finally replace the ‘Plus’ model, hints GSMA listing

Just days after Samsung introduced its latest foldables, new model number leaks suggest that the upcoming Galaxy S26 series could be in for a major change. A fresh entry in the GSMA IMEI database hints at the possible end of the “Plus” model as we know it.

The listings reveal three new model numbers: SM-S942, SM-S947, and SM-S948. According to reports, these correspond to the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, respectively. But notably missing is the usual “Plus” variant.

That omission suggests Samsung may be restructuring its flagship trio—possibly replacing the mid-tier Galaxy S Plus with a sleeker Edge variant instead.

Looking back, the Galaxy S25 lineup used SM-S931 for the base model, SM-S936 for the Plus, and SM-S938 for the Ultra. The S26 base model’s leap to SM-S942 from the expected S941 hints at meaningful upgrades, potentially absorbing some of the features that once defined the Plus model.

Meanwhile, the S26 Edge (SM-S947) could take the Plus’s place as a more stylish, performance-focused middle option. It builds on the design language introduced with the Galaxy S25 Edge, which launched later than the base and Ultra. This time, though, all three variants seem lined up for a January 2026 reveal—a sign that Samsung may be unifying its flagship launch.

To be clear, nothing is official yet, and Samsung’s plans could shift in the months leading up to launch. But this early model number leak does suggest Samsung is seriously considering a more streamlined S26 lineup.

Bottom line: With the SM-S946 missing and a new Edge variant stepping in, Samsung may be ready to retire the “Plus” for good. Whether that’s a good move depends on how well the Edge model strikes the balance between size, performance, and price. We’ll know more as the January 2026 launch gets closer.

OnePlus Buds 4 vs Buds 3: What’s Different and What’s Better?

OnePlus just unveiled its latest Nord series of mid range smartphones, with the OnePlus Buds 4 tagging along. These are the brand’s latest pair of TWS earbuds, succeeding the OnePlus Buds 3. So here’s a quick comparison showcasing everything new and all of the upgrades.

1. OnePlus Buds 4 vs OnePlus Buds 3: Specs and Features

OnePlus Buds 4
OnePlus Buds 4

While both earbuds feature a dual driver setup, the latest OnePlus Buds 4 has a larger 11mm woofer that uses a 30-layer ceramic-metal diaphragm and a 6mm flat-diaphragm tweeter. Meanwhile, the older Buds 3 pack a 10.4mm woofer with a 6mm tweeter. So on paper, the newer model should offer deeper bass.

Another incremental upgrade is the newer Bluetooth 5.4 standard on the Buds 4 compared to the Buds 3’s Bluetooth 5.3. For mobile gaming enthusiasts, the OnePlus Buds 4 is a better pick thanks to its lower 47ms low latency, compared to the 97ms low latency on the Buds 3. While design is based on personal preference, the Buds 3 is more distinct thanks to its glossy finish. OnePlus has made the Buds 4 appear similar to the Nord Buds series with a matte finish here.

Please Note: When you buy something using the links in our articles, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

2. Active Noise Cancellation

OnePlus Buds 3
OnePlus Buds 3

ANC is a popular feature on TWS earbuds, with both earbuds offering ANC and transparency mode. However, the OnePlus Buds 4 offers up to 55dB of noise cancellation, which is another slight upgrade from 49dB on the Buds 3. There are also three stages of ANC levels available on both models.

3. Battery & Charging

OnePlus-Buds-4

On a single full charge, the OnePlus Buds 3 can last for up to 10 hours with ANC off (58mAh), which can be bumped up to 44 hours with the charging case (520mAh). Turning on the ANC reduces the battery life to 6.5 hours on the buds alone and 28 hours with the case. On the other hand, the OnePlus Buds 4 promise 9 hours of audio playback with ANC off (62mAh) and up to 45 hours with the charging case (520mAh). The battery life falls to around 6 hours on the buds with ANC enabled, but you still get a total of 37 hours when paired with the case.

4. Pricing and Verdict

OnePlus Buds 3

OnePlus just announced the Buds 4 for 5,999 INR in the Indian market, which is a 500 INR price hike over the Buds 3’s original 5,499 INR launch price. However, the OnePlus Buds 3 is selling for around 4,299 INR, and there are even some offers that reduce the price further.

So if you’re in the market for a solid TWS that doesn’t breach the 5,000 INR price range, the Buds 3 is a great pick. Considering how there are only minor upgrades overall, the Buds 3 is the better deal. But for gaming enthusiast and those who want the latest and greatest, the Buds 4 shouldn’t disappoint either.

Is the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Worth the Upgrade? Here’s What’s New

Samsung’s latest foldable flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, has officially arrived, bringing notable upgrades. These improvements range from a sleeker, more durable design to improved cameras that could tempt existing Fold owners and newcomers alike. So here are the key reasons why the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could be worth the upgrade.

1. A Sleeker, Lighter, and Stronger Design

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7

One of the standout improvements on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is its redesigned chassis. Samsung has managed to shave off a few grams while making the device thinner as well. The flagship foldable now measures just 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded, which is noticeably thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 that measures 12.1mm when folded (5.6mm unfolded).

But it’s not just a slimmer design, Samsung has also worked on improving the durability and hinge mechanism. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 features what the company calls the Armor Flexhinge, along with an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance. In other words, the brand is finally catching up with its Chinese competitors in the foldable phone in the design department.

Please Note: When you buy something using the links in our articles, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

2. Camera Enhancements

Galaxy Z Fold 7

Previous iterations of the Galaxy Z Fold series had capable cameras, but these were still lacklustre compared to other ultra premium foldable and other flagships. However, the South Korean tech giant brings the S25 Ultra’s main 200MP camera to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

While the ultra wide angle lens and telephoto shooter have yet to receive the same love, the updated primary camera makes the device a lot better for photography as a whole. With the Z Fold 7, Samsung finally ditches the under-display camera on the main foldable screen with the same 10MP punch hole selfie camera on both the external and main display.

3. Improved Performance & Efficiency

Unfortunately, only the Galaxy Z Flip 7 got a bump in battery capacity this year. So the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is still stuck with a 4,400mAh cell. But thanks to Qualcomm’s powerful and efficient Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, Samsung is promising all-day use (official claims state 24 hours of video playback). This chip is also one of the most powerful processor that power Android flagships in the market, so you can expect top tier performance for regular use and intense tasks like mobile gaming.

4. Verdict

Samsung has built a robust ecosystem of its products and offers one of the best Android experiences with its One UI. The handy software features, Galaxy AI, customizability and a lot more have made the brand popular across the globe. So for those looking to remain in Samsung’s ecosystem, this is a great pick. There are plenty of Chinese competitors, but these aren’t as widely available either. With the Z Fold 7’s various improvements, it at least competes on a similar playing field now. I’d only suggest skipping the Z Fold 7 if you already have the Z Fold 6 or another recent foldable since the upgrades won’t feel substantial over a single generation.

Related: Realme shares initial details about Android 16 rollout

Realme’s update policy needs an upgrade

Realme is fairly quick with software updates, but the update promise falls short of what most Android brands offer. The brand has long offered just three Android upgrades to its high-end phones, the GT series. Only recently, it started offering four of them with the GT 7 series release.

While it’s a nice move, Realme is still a step behind Oppo and Nothing, which offer up to five OS updates, and much behind Samsung and Google, promising up to seven Android updates.

The mid-range and cheaper models from Realme max out at just two OS upgrades, while its rivals offer up to four. Samsung is in a different league, offering up to six OS updates to its newer mid-range models. So, longer software updates are no longer exclusive to flagship devices, and Realme needs to learn that. The brand should offer extended major upgrades on non-flagship phones, too.

Caviar’s $11,000 Galaxy Z Fold7 and $9,270 Flip7 turn foldables into cosmic luxury

Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 may be cutting-edge tech — but Russian luxury brand Caviar wants to elevate them to collectible status. Their new “Cosmic Cabubu” collection, limited to just eight units of each phone, reimagines these foldables as art objects fitted with gold, diamonds… and meteorite.

Taking its inspiration from “Labubu” — a plush monster toy from China — Caviar’s whimsical “Cabubu on Mars” and “Cabubu on Venus” editions showcase playful yet lavish designs:

Galaxy Z Fold7 “Cabubu on Mars” — A black titanium frame with 24-karat gold accents, red enamel jewelwork evoking Martian terrain, and genuine Muonionalusta meteorite fragments. Starts at $10,340 for the 256GB version. The 512GB and 1TB versions cost $10,700 and $11,060, respectively.

Galaxy Z Flip7 “Cabubu on Venus” — A Venus-themed design with blue jewels, thirteen natural diamonds, and meteorite inlays. Priced at $8,910 for 256 GB. Its 512GB version costs $9,270.

Each device is unique due to the natural composition of the meteorites, no two phones are exactly alike.

Under the extravagance lies the original hardware:

  • Z Fold7: 8″ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite, 200 MP main camera, and Galaxy AI
  • Z Flip7: 6.9″ AMOLED screen, Exynos 2500 chip, 50 MP main camera and Galaxy AI

Both phones include a specially designed futuristic case with gold accents, tied together by Caviar’s famed craftsmanship.

If you’re in the ultra-luxury market and want a foldable that doubles as a conversation piece (and an investment), Caviar’s “Cosmic Cabubu” collection delivers — but at prices that rival fine art. Only eight units per model mean exclusivity comes at a premium.

Xiaomi’s “YU7 Ultra” SUV caught in camouflage

Xiaomi is teasing a high-performance version of its YU7 electric SUV, recently spotted undercover on the streets of China. Coming on the heels of the SU7 Ultra sedan’s success, the alleged “YU7 Ultra” looks set to bring supercar-level performance to the SUV market.

Spotted under wraps

On July 10, ChinaEVHome shared photos of a camouflaged YU7 Ultra prototype. While it retains the sleek silhouette of the standard YU7, it adds sportier touches: bigger air intakes, flared wheel arches, and a more aggressive stance.

Reports indicate the YU7 Ultra will use the same dual-motor setup as the SU7 Ultra, packing a staggering 1,548 horsepower and 1,770 Nm of torque. Early estimates suggest a 0–100 km/h time of around 2.5 seconds, even with a slightly smaller 93.7 kWh NMC battery (versus the standard YU7’s 96.3 kWh pack).

If true, the YU7 Ultra would position itself as one of the fastest electric SUVs on the market. Considering Xiaomi’s standard YU7 is already in high demand—with 300,000 orders and wait-lists stretching over a year—interest in its ultra version is likely to be intense.

When and where?

The YU7 Ultra could debut in early 2026 in China, priced above the top-tier YU7 Max, though international availability remains unclear. There’s even talk of a larger sibling, the “YU9,” joining the lineup.

Bottom line: The camouflaged YU7 Ultra hints at a bold move by Xiaomi—bringing near-supercar acceleration to the SUV segment. Stick around; this could be one of the most exciting EV launches of 2026.

Realme Note 70T leaks with AMOLED display, Unisoc chip, and 6000mAh battery

Realme’s next budget phone is going to be the Note 70T, as the device has been spotted on an Italian retailer’s website. The premature listing reveals everything from the design to the specs of the phone, except the pricing.

The Note 70T sports a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch at the top, although the screen’s refresh rate is unspecified. In terms of design and dimensions, the phone measures 161.7 x 74.7 x 7.6mm and weighs 185 grams. The color option includes Gold and Black.

Powered by a fairly basic chipset

The device is built around the Unisoc T7250 chipset, a budget-tier processor not typically known for performance. It’s backed by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with no mention of microSD expansion. The listing confirms an IP64 rating for basic protection against dust and water splashes.

The phone is fitted with a 6,000mAh battery to power everything up. As for charging, the FCC documentation reveals the phone supports 15W charging. On the software side, the Note 70T is expected to run Realme UI based on Android 15 out of the box.

Since the Note 70T is a budget phone, the phone will have a fairly basic camera setup. It could have a 50MP main sensor on the back with an LED flash, and a 16MP front-facing camera.

Other specs of the device include dual SIM card support, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. However, it does not support 5G networks. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Realme hasn’t officially announced a launch date for the Note 70T yet. However, now that the device has surfaced on a retailer’s website with full specifications and renders, its debut likely isn’t far off.

Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ July launch confirmed,  display, chipset, battery, camera details officially confirmed

Infinix’s global wing has shared a teaser video via its official Facebook page, offering a sneak peek into its upcoming smartphone—the Hot 60 Pro+. While the teaser avoids revealing everything upfront, it hints at an exceptionally slim design, upgraded hardware, and intelligent features. Here’s a deeper look into what’s coming.

Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ key specifications confirmed

The Hot 60 Pro+ is being promoted as the world’s slimmest phone with a 3D curved screen, measuring just 5.95mm thick. It features a 6.78-inch nearly bezel-less display with 3D curved glass and narrow edges, creating a premium visual experience. While the refresh rate hasn’t been confirmed, Infinix’s past models in this range have supported up to 120Hz.

Despite its sleek profile, it manages to fit a sizeable 5,160mAh battery—an uncommon feat for ultra-thin smartphones. For comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge reportedly features a smaller 3,900mAh battery. Infinix claims its battery can hold up to 5 years of daily use and supports 45W fast charging, offering a balance of slimness and practicality.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, making it suitable for regular multitasking and AI-driven tasks. It comes equipped with an 11-layer thermal design, including a 0.3mm vapor chamber—thinner than standard implementations. This system is designed to cut SoC temperatures by as much as 5°C, helping maintain consistent performance during extended use.

For photography, the rear houses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor, commonly found in higher mid-range phones and known for its consistent low-light results. Infinix is also introducing a new “One Tap AI” interface, with smart tools for object removal, on-screen content recognition, and other intelligent features aimed at enhancing usability.

The Hot 60 Pro+ is expected to go official globally by the end of July 2025.

Redmi 15C renders, specs and price leaks

The Redmi 15C might be closer to launch than expected. Last month, it surfaced in the IMEI database, and now a fresh leak reveals almost everything else—design, specifications, and pricing for the European market.

The information comes from a report by YTechb, which claims the upcoming budget phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 chip. That’s the same processor used in last year’s model, so performance gains likely won’t be a headline feature. Instead, Xiaomi seems to be focusing on making the phone physically bigger this time around.

Redmi 15C will feature a bigger screen, battery

According to the leak, the Redmi 15C will come with a 6.9-inch IPS LCD panel, a slight increase in size (from 6.88 inches), featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop-style notch. The notch will house a 13MP front-facing camera, while the rear setup includes a 50MP main sensor paired with a secondary lens.

Renders included in the leak show the Redmi 15C in four color options: Moonlight Blue, Black, Pink, and Green.

As for the internals, the phone will ship with 4GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Powering it all is a 6000mAh battery, with support for 33W fast charging. The predecessor has a 5160mAh cell and 18W charging.

Xiaomi claims the battery can last up to 77 hours on a single charge and retain 80 percent of its capacity after 1,000 charging cycles, according to EPREL certification.

In terms of dimensions, the device will reportedly measure 173 x 81 x 8.2 mm and weigh around 205 grams.

As for the pricing, the report claims it will start at €129 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 256GB model will go for €149 in the Eurozone.

Top 5 alternatives to Oppo Find X8: More value for the same price

Oppo Find X8 alternatives

Oppo Find X8 is an impressive flagship smartphone, featuring great hardware, premium design, and feature-rich software — all at a starting price of INR 69,999. It’s a compelling choice for sure, but not the only showstopper in this price range. We’ve found five great alternatives to the Oppo Find X8 that outshines the device in one or more ways.

1. OnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 (long-term review) has a slightly bigger screen at 6.82 inches (versus 6.59 inches). It also boasts a higher resolution and features LTPO 4.1 technology that enables dynamic refresh rate for better battery efficiency. Additionally, it features Ceramic Guard glass for display protection.

The smartphone rocks a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, offering slightly better gaming performance than the Dimensity 9400 on the Find X8. Software-wise, the Find X8 Pro is a step ahead with an extra Android upgrade. Both phones ship with Android 16 out of the box.

OnePlus 13 features a triple camera setup, all with 50MP sensors: a primary sensor with OIS, a periscope telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and an ultrawide lens with a 120˚ field of view. The front gets a 32MP snapper. While both phones support 4K recording from the front, the OnePlus 13 can record up to 8K from the rear. It also excels in battery capacity and charging speed.

OnePlus 13 specs:

  • Display: 6.82″ LTPO 4.1 AMOLED, 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 4500nits brightness (peak)
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (3nm)
  • Software: Android 15, up to four major Android upgrades
  • Rear camera: triple cameras, up to 8K video recording

    • 32MP – f/2.4

2. Samsung Galaxy S25

This is another excellent alternative to the Oppo Find X8, featuring a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It’s a compact flagship phone with LTPO support and a much stronger Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The peak brightness doesn’t quite match Find X8’s, but at 2600nits, outdoor visibility is still great.

The camera system includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. The selfie camera is 12MP with 4K video support, and the rear setup can record up to 8K. The battery and charging speed are underwhelming, but there’s a reason for it (read here).

The Galaxy S25 features an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which is more secure, faster, and reliable than the optical fingerprint method commonly used by most smartphones, including the Oppo Find X8. The device also offers longer software support.

Samsung Galaxy S25 specs:

  • Display: 6.2″ LTPO AMOLED 2X, 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2600nits brightness (peak)

  • Battery & charging: 4,000mAh; 25W (wired), 15W (wireless), 4.5W (reverse wireless)
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 7, NFC, Bluetooth v5.4

3. Realme GT 7 Pro

Realme GT 7 Pro (full review) is also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, ensuring top-tier performance. The screen is slightly bigger. It features a slightly larger display with LTPO and an even higher peak brightness than the Find X8.

It comes with a triple camera system: two 50MP sensors for primary and telephoto duties, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The rear supports up to 8K recording, but the selfie video is limited to 1080p. Overall, it delivers excellent performance, great display, and superb charging speeds, although the camera setup — especially the ultrawide and selfie video — might disappoint some.

Realme GT 7 Pro specs:

  • Display: 6.78″ LTPO AMOLED, 1264 x 2780 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 6500nits brightness (peak), Gorilla Glass 7i

    • 16MP – f/2.5
  • Battery & charging: 5,800mAh (India only), 6,500mAh (Global); 120W (wired)
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 7, NFC, Bluetooth v5.4

Please Note: When you buy something using the links in our articles, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

4. Xiaomi 15

Xiaomi 15

Xiaomi 15 (full review) is a compact flagship phone, featuring a slightly smaller 6.36-inch AMOLED screen with LTPO support for a more efficient power consumption. It uses Xiaomi’s own Shield Glass for protection and the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for all the heavy lifting.

The camera system includes three 50MP sensors (primary, telephoto, and ultrawide) with 8K video capability. The 32MP front camera supports up to 4K video. Other aspects of the phone, such as connectivity features, battery capacity and charging speeds are flagship-grade, too.

Xiaomi 15 specs:

  • Display: 6.36″ LTPO AMOLED, 1200 x 2670 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3200nits brightness (peak), Xiaomi Shield Glass

  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 7, NFC, Bluetooth v5.4

Please Note: When you buy something using the links in our articles, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

5. Google Pixel 9

Google Pixel 9
Google Pixel 9

The Pixel 9 also secures a place on this list, not because of its hardware but for a great Android experience and software optimizations. When compared to the Oppo Find X8, the Pixel 9’s screen is a little shorter and features lower peak brightness, but has a stronger Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on both sides.

The Tensor G4 chipset may not match the raw performance of the Dimensity 9400 or Snapdragon 8 Elite, but it’s more than capable for daily use. You also get seven years of Android updates. Plus, the fact that Pixels are usually the first phones to get the latest OS makes it sweeter.

Unlike others, it lacks a telephoto camera but still manages to deliver excellent image quality. The device has an ultrasonic fingerprint reader and a decent battery with decent fast charging support.

Google Pixel 9 specs:

  • Display: 6.3″ OLED, 1080 x 2424 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2700nits brightness (peak), Gorilla Glass Victus 2
  • Processor: Google Tensor G4 (4nm)
  • Software: Android 14, up to seven major Android upgrades
  • Rear camera: dual cameras, up to 4K video recording
    • 50MP (primary) – f/1.7, dual pixel PDAF, OIS
    • 48MP (telephoto) – f/1.7, dual pixel PDAF, 123˚ field of view
  • Selfie camera: single camera, up to 4K video recording
