Poco X7 Pro Iron Man Edition spotted; special edition phone may launch soon

This week, Poco will unveil the Poco M7 Pro 5G and the Poco C75 5G smartphones in India. It appears that the brand is also prepping the Poco X7 series of smartphones for different markets. The existence of devices like the Poco X7 Neo, the Poco X7, and the Poco X7 Pro have already emerged in recent reports. A fresh development reveals that the X7 Pro will also have a special edition model.

Poco X7 Pro, X7 Pro Iron Man Edition certified in Thailand

Thailand’s NBTC authority has approved the Poco X7, X7 Pro, and the Poco X7 Pro Iron Man Edition, as seen in the images above. Both devices have the same 2412DPC0AG model number.

Both devices are likely to pack the same specs, but the Iron Man Edition may offer more RAM and storage. There’s a possibility that it could be a limited-edition phone equipped with an Iron Man-themed UI, accessories, and a special package.

The Poco X7 Neo and X7 have both emerged on Geekbench’s database, revealing that these devices could be powered by the Dimensity 7025-Ultra and Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipsets, respectively. Therefore, these Poco phones could be rebranded, or slightly tweaked versions of the Redmi Note 14 5G and the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G.

The design of the Poco X7 and X7 Pro was revealed via leaked renders last week. It is speculated that the X7 Pro will be the first device to offer an out-of-the-box HyperOS 2.0 experience.

To recall, the Redmi K70e debuted as the world’s first Dimensity 8300 phone in China in November 2023. This device was rebranded as the Poco X6 Pro globally. It is speculated that the upcoming Redmi Turbo 4 for the Chinese market could be the first-ever phone to feature the forthcoming Dimensity 8400 SoC. Most likely, the Poco X7 Pro could be a rebranded version of the Turbo 4.

Now that the Poco X7 Pro models have received NBTC certification, it seems that the X7 series may go official in January in Thailand and other markets.

Don’t Buy a Galaxy Tab if You Use an iPhone: Here’s Why

If you are an iPhone user, chances are you’ve already experienced the perks of Apple’s ecosystem. From seamless communication through iMessage to effortless file sharing with AirDrop, and continuity features that let you transition between devices, it’s all designed to work together.

But what happens if you step outside this bubble? Say, by pairing an iPhone with an Android tablet from Samsung. Like the flagship Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. At first glance, it might seem like a solid alternative to the iPad. It’s powerful, packed with features, and it’s also more affordable than Apple’s top-of-the-line iPad Pro M4

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

Yet, the experience might fall short when you pair it with an iPhone. There are several reasons for this. And no, this isn’t about Android vs. iOS or Samsung vs. Apple. It’s about compatibility, user experience, and the compromises you’ll face. Let’s break it down.

1. The Messaging Gap

Apple’s iMessage isn’t just a messaging app; it’s a central pillar of Apple’s ecosystem. If you own an iPhone, chances are you rely heavily on iMessage to communicate with friends and family. Add a Galaxy Tab to the mix, and you’re immediately cut off from this convenience.

Unlike iPads, Galaxy Tabs don’t support iMessage. Sure, there are workarounds like forwarding texts to your Android tablet, and Apple now supports RCS messaging as well. But it’s not like the native solution, to say the least. For group chats or conversations that rely on iMessage-specific features—like reactions, shared media, and location sharing—you’ll quickly feel the limitations or differences.

2. File Sharing Frustrations

One of Apple’s biggest strengths is AirDrop. It allows quick file sharing across iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Whether you’re sending photos, videos, or documents, AirDrop works seamlessly without relying on third-party apps or cloud uploads.

Unfortunately, Galaxy Tabs lack anything comparable to iPhones. Samsung’s Quick Share is a great feature for Android and Galaxy devices but doesn’t extend to iOS. If you want to share files between your iPhone and a Galaxy Tab, you’ll need to rely on cloud services like Google Drive or OneDrive, which introduces extra steps and also eats up your internet bandwidth.

3. App experience

Apple and Google both offer extensive app libraries for large screens, but it’s not hard to say that the Android tablet app experience lacks the polish of Apple iPads.

Apple has iPadOS specifically designed for tablets and takes a more focused approach to screen sizes and form factors. In contrast, Android tablets often feel like oversized smartphones with minimal optimization for larger screens.

Apple also works diligently to build a rich library of apps tailored just for iPads. Apps like Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve leverage the larger screen for productivity. This positions iPads as powerful tools for work, whereas Android tablets appear less focused on productivity.

4. The Continuity Problem

Apple’s ecosystem is all about continuity. Features like Handoff allow you to start tasks on one device and finish them on another. For instance, you can begin writing an email on your iPhone and pick it up instantly on your iPad. Similarly, the Universal Clipboard lets you copy something on one Apple device and paste it on another.

With a Galaxy Tab, you lose access to these conveniences. While Samsung has its own ecosystem features, like linking Galaxy devices to Windows PCs or using Samsung Flow, they don’t extend to iPhones. Switching between your iPhone and Galaxy Tab will feel disjointed in comparison.

5. Accessory Challenges

If you’ve invested in Apple accessories like the Apple Pencil, Magic Keyboard, or AirPods, they work effortlessly with an iPad but not with a Galaxy Tab. Although the Galaxy Tab supports alternatives like the S Pen and various keyboards, these won’t integrate as seamlessly with your existing Apple setup.

AirPods, for example, can technically pair with a Galaxy Tab, but you’ll lose features like automatic device switching and spatial audio optimization, both of which shine within Apple’s ecosystem.

6. When a Galaxy Tab Might Work

This isn’t to say Galaxy Tabs are inherently bad. In fact, Galaxy S-series tablets are some of the best Android tablets on the market, with vibrant AMOLED displays, excellent multitasking capabilities, and robust hardware. But they’re designed with Android and Samsung users in mind.

If you’re someone who already owns other Galaxy devices or prefers Android’s customization options, the Galaxy Tab makes sense. However, for iPhone users accustomed to Apple’s ecosystem, the transition won’t be seamless—and that’s the crux of the problem.

7. Why Stick to an iPad

If you’re set on adding a tablet to your Apple-dominated setup, an iPad is the obvious choice. Whether it’s the entry-level iPad or the high-end iPad Pro, Apple’s tablets integrate perfectly with iPhones.

With features like iCloud syncing, shared subscriptions, and seamless accessory support, an iPad will feel like an extension of your iPhone rather than a separate device. You’ll also enjoy better resale value, as Apple products tend to hold their worth longer than most Android devices.

8. Final Thoughts

Buying a tablet is about more than just specs. It’s about how well it fits into your existing setup and the experience it offers. If you use an iPhone, a Galaxy Tab might feel like an awkward mismatch. It might force you to work around limitations rather than enjoy seamless integration.

Sure, a Galaxy Tab might save some money or offer features that rival the iPad. But when compatibility, ecosystem, and long-term usability come into play, sticking with an iPad is the smarter choice.

Ultimately, it’s not about which device is “better.” It’s about choosing the right tool for the job—and in this case, an iPad is the clear winner for iPhone users.

This powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite gaming phone is cheaper than Pixel 8 Pro

nubia Red Magic 10 Pro

The newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite is a powerful chipset. It beats MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 and Apple’s greatest A18 Pro on major benchmarks. This newest Qualcomm chip will power most of 2025’s flagship phones. But you don’t have to wait until next year to get a powerful gaming phone that costs less than Pixel 8 Pro. That’s the Nubia Red Magic 10 Pro.

The Red Magic 10 Pro is indeed powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. With a lot of processing comes plenty of heat; therefore, heat management becomes crucial for gaming phones like the Red Magic 10 Pro. Nubia went all out on advanced cooling technology to ensure this phone stays cool. It has a new “Hot Wheels” high-speed cooling fan with 23000rpm wind speed and a 12,000mm² 3D vapor chamber cooling plate, among many cooling measures. It’s the first phone to use liquid metal cooling. So, with all cooling measures, you should expect a stable and snappy performance, even during long gaming sessions.

Red Magic 10 Pro cooling system

Being a gaming phone, the Red Magic 10 Pro comes with a pair of fast capacitive shoulder triggers for extra gaming control. It also has dual X-axis linear vibration motors and an in-house Red Core R3 gaming chip that allows 120fps gaming at 2K resolution.

There’s a massive 7,500mAh battery, the biggest on any gaming phone. So you can enjoy a longer gaming session on a single charge. And the 100W fast charging support is there to refill it in minutes while you give your eyes some rest.

The Red Magic 10 Pro has a triple camera setup: a 50MP primary camera (with OIS), a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro shooter. There’s also a 16MP selfie camera. While the cameras are not as impressive as those in the Pixel 8 Pro, they deliver good results. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting your favorite wired headphones.

You can grab the Red Magic 10 Pro (12GB/256GB) by paying $749. There’s also a 16GB+512GB model that’s currently available for $899.

Apple Watch Series 10 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 are two standout smartwatches catering to different user needs. Apple’s offering emphasizes premium design, deep ecosystem integration, and cutting-edge health features, making it ideal for iPhone users seeking top-tier functionality. On the other hand, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 balances affordability, durability, and excellent battery life, appealing to Android users and those looking for versatility. This comparison helps you decide which smartwatch aligns best with your lifestyle and preferences.

1. Design, Build, and Display

Apple Watch Series 10
Apple Watch Series

The Apple Watch Series 10 shines with a titanium frame, a sapphire crystal back, and a 1.96-inch Retina LTPO3 OLED display. Its 2000-nit peak brightness ensures excellent outdoor visibility, and its IP6X certification, 50m water resistance, and depth gauge add utility for adventurers. Its premium build suits both casual and professional settings.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 features a durable aluminum frame with improved drop and scratch resistance. Its smaller 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display, also protected by sapphire crystal, offers vibrant visuals but is less immersive. It’s a rugged choice for outdoor enthusiasts with IP68, 5ATM water resistance, and MIL-STD-810H compliance.

Verdict: Apple wins with its luxurious design, larger display, and enhanced brightness, while Samsung offers better durability for rugged use.

2. Features and Compatibility

Apple leads in precision health tracking, offering ECG, SpO2, VO2 Max, water temperature sensing, and a second-gen UWB chip. It integrates deeply into the Apple ecosystem, delivering unmatched synergy for iPhone users.

Samsung focuses on practical health tracking with ECG, skin temperature monitoring, and blood pressure tracking via its BioActive sensor. It supports Android devices seamlessly and offers decent compatibility with iOS, making it a more versatile option for non-Apple users.

Verdict: Apple’s advanced features and ecosystem integration are ideal for those already in the Apple ecosystem. Samsung’s broader compatibility makes it a better choice for Android users or mixed-device households.

3. Performance, Battery Life, and Connectivity

Samsung GAlaxy Watch 7

The Apple Watch Series 10 is powered by the Apple S10 chipset, offering smooth performance and 64GB storage for apps and media. However, its 327mAh battery lasts just a day, though it charges quickly (0–80% in 30 minutes). Its second-gen UWB chip enhances location precision.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 uses the Exynos W1000 chipset with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Its 425mAh battery outlasts Apple’s, often reaching two days of use, and its 10W wireless charging is efficient. Samsung’s GPS includes dual-band (L1+L5) for better outdoor navigation.

Verdict: Apple excels in processing power and storage, but Samsung’s superior battery life and versatile GPS make it more practical for extended use.

4. Price, Customization, and Ecosystem

The Apple Watch Series 10 comes at a premium price of $819, reflecting its high-end design and features. Its customization options include premium straps, though its proprietary system limits third-party choices.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is significantly more affordable at $250, offering excellent value. Its standard 20mm strap compatibility allows for a broader range of affordable customization.

Verdict: Apple justifies its price for those seeking premium quality and seamless ecosystem integration. Samsung provides outstanding value for budget-conscious buyers looking for versatility.

5. Conclusion

The Apple Watch Series 10 is the go-to for Apple users prioritizing luxury, cutting-edge health features, and top-tier performance. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is ideal for Android users or those seeking a rugged, budget-friendly smartwatch with excellent battery life.

If budget isn’t a constraint and you are in the Apple ecosystem, choose the Apple Watch Series 10 for its premium features and integration. Otherwise, for a balance of features, value, and compatibility, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 wins.

Is This the Real Nintendo Switch 2? Dbrand Says Yes

Dbrand, a company known for its edgy designs and cheeky marketing, has potentially leaked the design of Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 console. The company has unveiled a new case, the “Killswitch 2,” specifically designed for the next-gen Nintendo console.

The case reveals a larger console with a distinctive design, featuring a second button on the right Joy-Con and a wider kickstand. The Joy-Cons appear to be magnetically attached and can be ejected using a button on the back.

Another cool addition is the new secondary USB-C port on the top of the console. This strategic placement could improve connectivity options and charging convenience, addressing a common user complaint with the current model.

Dbrand’s CEO, Adam Ijaz, confirmed the authenticity of the design, stating that it’s based on a 3D scan of the actual hardware. While specific details like the screen type (LCD or OLED) and release date remain unknown, Ijaz suggests a late March or early April release for the case, hinting at a potential launch timeframe for the Switch 2.

This leak aligns with previous rumors and a mockup shared by SwitchUp, further solidifying the credibility of the design. The Switch 2 is expected to offer backward compatibility with current Switch games and continue the Nintendo Switch Online service.

On the hardware front, speculation points to an 8-inch OLED display, a significant upgrade from the original model’s 6.2-inch LCD. The console is also rumored to feature 12GB of RAM, triple the memory of the original Switch, and a new CPU/GPU capable of delivering 1080p resolution at 60fps in docked mode.

Nintendo has yet to officially announce the Switch 2, but with the April 2025 deadline looming, anticipation for the next-gen console is reaching a fever pitch. As more information emerges, gamers eagerly await the official unveiling and the exciting possibilities it holds for the future of gaming.

Realme 14 Pro key specs leaks, 14x to have Dimensity 6300 5G chipset

Realme has begun teasing its 14 Pro series in India, but most of the specifications are still under wraps. However, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed detailed specs for the phone. Let’s unpack the specs now.

Realme 14 Pro

The Realme 14 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, as confirmed by the teaser. DCS corroborates the same. A previous report suggests that the SoC will be paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage.

The tipster further claims the phone will include a triple-lens rear camera system. The main sensor is a 50MP lens with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. It will be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP IMX882 periscope sensor with a 1/1.95-inch size and 3x optical zoom.

The leak also mentions an 80W fast-charging system. For the display, Realme is said to use what’s described as an “equal depth quad-curved screen,” which likely means smooth, curved edges on all four sides. Additionally, the phone features a plastic middle frame and a “short-focus optical” fingerprint sensor, which is probably an optical one.

Now that Realme has started teasing the phone in India, a December launch seems likely. However, the company appears to have another launch event planned for the Realme 14x before that.

Realme 14x

The phone is set to launch on December 18 and will feature the Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, as confirmed by the company today.

Notably, it will be India’s first IP69-rated smartphone priced under ₹15,000. The IP69 rating ensures protection against water damage, even if the device is submerged, exposed to 85-degree Celsius hot water, or used in the shower. The phone will pack a 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging support and will be available in Red, Gold, and Black color options.

It will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99-Ultra chipset, with memory options including 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage.

The display will offer a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The rear camera system includes a 108MP main sensor, along with an unspecified secondary sensor. A 5,500mAh battery powers the phone, supported by 33W fast charging.

Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G

The Note 14 Pro 4G follows a similar design trend as its 5G version and comes in black, blue, and purple.

It steps up the specs with the more powerful MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Pro’s camera setup features an impressive 200MP main sensor. Both models share the same 5,500mAh battery, but the Pro variant supports faster 45W charging.

The Pro model also upgrades its screen protection to Gorilla Glass Victus 2. According to the leak, it includes a 32MP front-facing camera, while details about the standard model’s selfie camera remain unknown.

The brand hasn’t announced an official launch date for these two devices yet, but the wait likely won’t be too long.

Poco X7 and X7 Pro surfaces in official-looking renders ahead of launch

Poco is preparing to launch the next generation of its popular X-series smartphones, the Poco X7 and X7 Pro. Until now, details about their design remained unclear despite numerous leaks and rumors.

However, 91Mobiles has leaked renders of both models, revealing a major design departure from their predecessors, the Poco X6 and X6 Pro.

Poco X7 and X7 Pro renders leaks

The standard Poco X7 borrows some inspiration from its cousin, the Redmi Note 14 Pro. The back features a familiar squircle camera module housing three lenses, mirroring the Redmi design.

Its color options include Green, Silver, and Poco’s signature two-tone Black/Yellow option. The display curves slightly on both sides which is another feature that’s shared with the Redmi Note 14 Pro.

The Poco X7 Pro takes a more distinct design route. Gone is the large rectangular camera module of the X6 Pro. Instead, the X7 Pro opts for a sleek, dual-tone back with a more subtle, vertically-aligned camera module.

The leaked renders show the X7 Pro in Black, Green, and a Black/Yellow combination similar to the standard X7. Both phones are expected to feature a flat display and frame, a departure from the curved aesthetic of the X7.

While details about the internal hardware remain a mystery, rumors suggest the X7 series might share some similarities with the Redmi Note 14 series. This could mean similar processors and internal components. One confirmed detail, though, is that both phones will likely come pre-installed with HyperOS 2.0.

There’s also a hint of a potential third member in the X7 family – the X7 Neo. A recent Geekbench listing revealed the phone will sport a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor. Whether this phone will launch alongside the X7 and X7 Pro or arrive later remains to be seen.

The X7 series continues Poco’s familiar strategy of borrowing design and specs from a Redmi series, and this lineup is no different. Poco has yet to announce a launch date for the new phones, but we’ll share updates as soon as the brand makes it official.

From long-awaited sequels to fresh entries in iconic franchises, the event was a treat for gamers everywhere. So here are five announcements that stole the spotlight.

You can also check our list of the best PlayStation exclusive games that you should be playing right now.

1. Elden Ring: Nightreign

The Witcher 4
Elden Ring Nightreign

Back in 2022, Elden Ring won the Game of the Year award at the TGA and in the 2024 event, we got an official teaser for its sequel. After its explosive release, FromSoftware’s masterpiece got a successful DLC as well. But now, we finally have confirmation of the next grand adventure, Elden Ring: Nightreign. It is set to be a massive expansion that promises to elevate the dark fantasy universe even further. The gameplay trailer teased new gameplay mechanics, deeper emphasis on storytelling, and an improved co-op experience.

2. The Witcher 4

CD Projekt Red’s announcement was undoubtedly one of the most hype moments of TGA 2024. After years, we are finally getting a new instalment for the Witcher franchise. The Witcher 4 is a new saga that puts Ciri as the protagonist, a bold move away from series favourite, Geralt. The trailer for the game showcases an impressive action packed sequence and a tone that meets its setting. Although the release date remains under wraps, anticipation for The Witcher 4 is already through the roof.

3. Borderlands 4

Gearbox Software’s software upcoming Borderlands entry is apparently the “most ambitious Borderlands game yet”. Borderlands 4 is set to release sometime next year with a new quirky adventure and the iconic style. New mechanics, next gen fidelity, and the beloved co-op experience return in 2025, so fans of the looter shooter genre should definitely look out for this one.

4. Outer Worlds 2

The Witcher 4
The Outer Worlds 2

2025 has a stacked lineup of highly anticipated announcements, with Obsidian Entertainment’s new title being one of them. The Outer Worlds 2 got an official trailer, bringing a sequel to the acclaimed indie exploration game. We can expect the latest instalment to feature new and improved graphics along with a deeper narrative and refined (and fresh) gameplay experience.

5. Onimusha: Way of the Sword

The Witcher 4
Onimusha: Way of the Sword

Capcom had a surprising announcement during TGA 2024, but it was one that I am the most excited about. Having played the third entry over a decade ago, I can’t wait to see what Onimusha: Way of the Sword has to offer. The franchise never got the love it deserved and this reboot will likely bring in new fans. After two whole decades, the iconic samurai action adventure game returns with next gen graphics. Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be releasing in 2026.

Motorola phones that will get five Android updates

Motorola software update policy

For a very long time, Motorola has had a terrible software update policy for its phones. It had been offering a maximum of three Android updates, which was only limited to high-end phones. The mid-range and budget phones were only getting up to two upgrades, while most entry-level phones weren’t promised a single upgrade.

Motorola faced a lot of heat from its users for offering a lesser number of Android upgrades when its peers are offering as many as seven upgrades. Any sensible brand would listen to its users, and so did Motorola by making a big change to the software update policy. The brand started offering five upgrades to its newer phones.

Here’s the list of Motorola phones that are promised to get five Android updates:

The Edge 50 Neo is the company’s first phone to enjoy the latest software update policy. It also expands to the two phones launched thereafter: Moto G75 and ThinkPhone 25. It was surprising to see Moto G75, a mid-range phone, on the list. Hopefully, we’ll see more upcoming mid-range phones getting the same treat.

Motorola hasn’t made any changes to the update policy for existing devices, though. That means even the pricier Edge 50 models (Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Ultra) and premium Razr models launched this year won’t get more than three major upgrades. This seems unfair. Motorola should offer extended software support, on the premium models at least, just like Google did recently with many Pixels.

Software rollout is another major concern with Motorola phones

While Motorola has resolved one part of the equation with its new software update policy (at least for newer models), it still needs to do a lot of work to strengthen its software rollout. It has been a sluggish brand to release newer Android updates. Take Android 14, for example, which was released in October 2023 but took almost three months to reach the first Motorola phones.

However, that’s not the case with Android 15. In fact, Motorola has done a better job than some other more popular brands, including Samsung. It began the beta program in mid-October, while the One UI 7 beta (based on Android 15) was released only last week. The very next day of the One UI 7 beta release, Motorola started distributing the stable build to some models, including the Edge 50 Fusion and Edge 50 Ultra.

So, Motorola has not only increased the number of software upgrades but also greatly improved its software rollout speed. Hopefully, the brand will keep improving these areas, which will give potential buyers more confidence.

Why the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 is Better than Cheap Smartwatches

Xiaomi has a wide range of wearable products under its belt which includes smartwatches and smart bands. The Xiaomi Smart Band lineup is positioned as a more affordable wearable option. However, that doesn’t mean they are worse than their worse than smartwatches. So here’s why the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 is better than most cheap smartwatches.

1. Xiaomi Smart Band 9: Price Point

Xiaomi Smart Band 9
Xiaomi Smart Band 9

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 model is one of the latest wearable gadgets that was announced by the Chinese tech giant in the global market. It offers various features that users would find useful and need in their smart wearable devices. The Smart Band 9 model was announced for €39.99, which is around $45. At this price, you can find many cheaper smartwatch alternatives, but these aren’t necessarily a better option. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro is priced between €69.99 and €79.99 in Europe.

2. More options with the display

Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro

Taking the Smart Band 9 series as an example once again, the base model sports a 1.62-inch oval AMOLED display (192 x 490 resolution, 1200 nits of peak brightness, 200+ watch faces). However, you also get a more traditional design with the higher end Smart Band 9 Pro. The more expensive option has a 1.74-inch rectangular panel, which has a design similar to the Apple Watch.

For those who just prefer getting the key information, the smaller screen might be more convenient. Many don’t like the idea of having another big screen on their wrists, so the Smart Band 9 is a great option for them as they can limit their screen time outside of their smartphone. However, those that need more control and easier access to more functions, the Band 9 Pro has got you covered.

3. Not Skipping the Smart Features

Xiaomi-Smart-Band-9-Series

Smart bands are usually seen as a younger sibling to the smartwatch, but Xiaomi doesn’t skip on any of the modern features of the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 series. It arrives with support for over 150 sports tracking features like running, walking, cycling, and much more. But that’s not all, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 also offers a heart rate sensor and SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring.

The Smart Band 9 Pro model also integrates GPS for more accurate tracking, along with built-in NFC. On a single full charge, this model can last for up to 21 days, while the base variant has a 9 day battery life. The Smart Band 9 lineup also comes with Bluetooth 5.4 support, which allows access to other basic features like music control, message replies, and weather updates.

Comparing Vivo S20 and S19: Which is Better?

Vivo S20 and Vivo S19 are mid-range smartphones packed with impressive features, catering to users seeking performance, style, and value. While both models share similarities like the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, dual rear cameras, and AMOLED displays, the S20 introduces key upgrades in battery, software, and display brightness. Conversely, the S19 offers a slightly larger screen and enhanced selfie flash. This comparison highlights their differences and standout features, helping you decide which device best suits your needs.

1. Design and Display

Vivo S20
Vivo S20

The Vivo S20 and S19 share similar design elements with slim profiles and IP64 ratings for dust and water resistance. However, the S20 refines the display technology, featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 5000 nits, ensuring superior visibility under sunlight compared to the S19’s 4500 nits. The S20 also boasts a slightly improved screen-to-body ratio at 90.2%, enhancing immersion, although the S19 offers a marginally larger 6.78-inch display.

Both devices support 120Hz refresh rates and vibrant 1B colors, making them excellent for media consumption. The S20’s enhanced brightness and compact form make it more suitable for outdoor users, while the S19’s larger screen might appeal to those prioritizing size over compactness. Overall, the Vivo S20 edges ahead with its more refined display brightness and proportions.

2. Specifications

Vivo S19
Vivo S19

The Vivo S20 is powered by Android 15 with OriginOS 5, while the S19 runs Android 14 with OriginOS 4, giving the S20 a future-ready edge in software. Both models are equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, an octa-core CPU, and Adreno 720 GPU, ensuring seamless performance for multitasking and gaming.

Battery performance sees an upgrade in the S20, featuring a 6500 mAh Si/C battery with 90W fast charging, compared to the S19’s 6000 mAh battery with 80W charging. The larger capacity and faster charging of the S20 make it a better choice for users seeking longer battery life and quicker top-ups. The absence of expandable storage persists in both, but the S20 retains its edge with consistently robust performance and battery reliability.

3. Camera

Vivo S20
Vivo S20

Both devices sport dual rear cameras: a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide. While the S19’s 50MP sensor is slightly larger (1/1.56″ vs. 1/1.55″), the difference in image quality is minimal. The S20 introduces better stabilization with 4K video recording and gyro-EIS, which complements its OIS feature for smoother footage.

On the front, both feature a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, but the S19 includes a dual-LED flash, improving low-light selfies. The S20 provides brighter outdoor photos with its HDR mode, offering a more balanced exposure. Overall, the S20 stands out for videography, while the S19 slightly excels in low-light photography.

4. Pricing

The Vivo S20 is priced at approximately €300, undercutting the Vivo S19, which costs around €320. Despite the lower price, the S20 offers significant upgrades, including better battery capacity, display brightness, and software.

For budget-conscious users, the S20 presents a more value-for-money option. However, those seeking slightly better low-light camera performance and a larger screen might find the S19 a reasonable pick despite its higher cost.

5. Conclusion

Vivo S20

The Vivo S20 introduces several unique features, including an unprecedented peak display brightness of 5000 nits and the latest Android 15 out of the box. Its enhanced 90W charging technology and larger battery further position it as an excellent device for heavy users. The Vivo S19, on the other hand, offers a slightly larger screen and a dual-LED selfie flash, which remains absent in the S20.

The S20’s standout combination of superior performance, advanced software, and lower price makes it a better choice for most users. However, the S19’s features might appeal to niche users who prioritize display size and selfie lighting.
