Earlier today, Infinix unveiled a new tablet called the Infinix XPad. Although the brand has not officially revealed the price of this tablet, its specifications indicate that it could land in the sub-$200 range. This will land it smack dab in the middle of tablets like the Redmi Pad SE and the OnePlus Pad Go. In this article, we will discuss how the Infinix XPad compares to the OnePlus Pad Go.
Design-wise, there are some similarities between the two tablets. They both come with a boxy design with flat edges and feature a metal unibody design. The Infinix tablet has its camera island tucked away in the top corner, while the OnePlus Pad comes with a more centered rear camera.
Up-front, the Pad Go offers a slightly larger 11.35-inch LCD display, while the XPad has an 11-inch LCD screen. Both these displays have large bezels around them, however, their resolutions are a different story. Since both the Infinix XPad and the OnePlus Pad Go use the MediaTek Helio G99, it would be easy to assume that they both offer similar performance. The core design and 23.8-inch 1080p IPS panel of the latest MateView SE is the same as its previous counterpart. Huawei, nonetheless, has bumped the refresh rate from 75Hz to 100Hz. Designed with simplicity in mind, the socket comes in classic black-and-white color options. It measures 46.5×105.0×42.0mm, the cable has a length of 1.5 meters, and the device features a flame-retardant polycarbonate shell for added safety.
The socket has two standard two-prong outlets and two five-prong grounded outlets that are capable of handling a maximum power output of 2500W. You can use them for your monitor, desktop, laptop, or any other high-power-consuming device.
For charging needs such as smartphones, tablets, or wearables, the socket includes four USB ports. Two of them are USB-C ports, each capable of delivering 67W fast charging. The other two are USB-A ports with a maximum output of 22.5W per port.
The power distribution between these ports gets a bit complex. While each USB-C port can deliver the full 67W on its own, combining them reduces the output to a maximum of 45W for one port and 20W for the other.
Similarly, combining USB-C with USB-A ports results in a 45W maximum for the USB-C and a lower 18W for the USB-A. All four ports used together are capped at a combined 15W.
There are also some caveats to be aware of. When charging a watch with USB-A ports, users might encounter a repetitive charging notification even after the watch is full. Xiaomi says this to a normal detection process and it should stop after half an hour. But it’s recommended to remove the device after charging.
The iQOO Z9s series is set to launch in India on Aug. 21. The landing page for the series has been live on the official website for the past few days. However, the updated page now reveals the key specifications for both smartphones in the series.
