Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold dimensions, weight (rumored)
Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold
Last year, Google entered the foldable phone market by launching the Google Pixel Fold in May. Recent reports suggest that the brand will not call the next foldable phone the Pixel Fold 2. Instead, it is expected to be dubbed the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
The original Pixel Fold measured 139.7 x 158.7 x 5.8mm in the unfolded state and 139.7 x 79.5 x 12.1mm in the folded state. According to the latest report, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has dimensions of 155.2 x 150.2 x 5.1mm in the folded state and 155.2 x 77.1 x 10.5mm in the folded state. The new dimensions of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold hint at a larger and slimmer design compared to the original Pixel Fold.
In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is a slightly thicker device, measuring 153.5 x 132.6 x 5.6 mm in the unfolded state and 153.5 x 68.1 x 12.1 mm in the folded state. When it comes to weight, the original Pixel Fold weighed 283 grams, whereas the upcoming Pixel 9 Pro Fold is said to weigh 257 grams. To put into context, the Honor Magic V3 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 weigh 226 grams and 239 grams, respectively. Last year’s OnePlus Open weighed 239 grams.
The Pixel 9 Fold Pro is said to have a 6.3-inch OLED cover screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. Opening the device will allow users to access its 8-inch foldable OLED screen. Both screens are said to support 1,600 nits of brightness for HDR content and a maximum brightness of up to 2700 nits.
DJI is reportedly set to launch a new drone, tentatively named Neo. Leaked images and product listings suggest a compact, lightweight design with a focus on user-friendliness.
The DJI Neo will be likely priced at $329 for the Fly More combo
Priced competitively at $329 for the Fly More combo, the Neo is expected to be DJI’s most affordable and lightweight drone to date, weighing in at just 135 grams. The drone features a propeller guard for increased safety and a dedicated button for easy take-off and landing.
Seemingly designed for simplicity, the Neo is rumored to offer hand-controlled operation and AI-powered subject tracking. With a potential release date within the next few weeks, the Neo is generating excitement among drone enthusiasts and casual users alike.
While specific details about camera capabilities and flight time are still limited, the leaked information suggests that DJI is targeting a new segment of the drone market with the Neo.
Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi K80 series of smartphones for the Chinese market in November. The lineup is expected to include at least three phones, such as the Redmi K80e, the Redmi K80, and the Redmi K80 Pro. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, focuses on the fingerprint scanning technology that will be available on the Redmi K80 series.
Redmi K80 Pro to feature ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor
In the above screenshot, tipster DCS has not mentioned the name of the phone that he is talking about. The tipster is saying that ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors are still mostly exclusive to high-end flagship models. For sub-brands, only the higher-end versions with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset will feature ultrasonic fingerprint sensors. The lower-end variant will only have optical in-screen fingerprint sensors with a shorter focus range, leading to a noticeably different user experience.
Previous reports have suggested that the entire Xiaomi 15 series, which includes the Xiaomi 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Ultra, will come equipped with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. To recall, the Xiaomi 14 series from last year featured optical in-screen fingerprint sensors.
In terms of other specs, the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. The OLED panels of both phones may support 1.5K and 2K resolutions, respectively. A recent report suggests that both phones may pack a 6,000mAh battery. It is likely that the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro may get rebranded as the Poco F7 and F7 Pro in the global market next year.

Google is all set to announce the Pixel 9 series of smartphones on Aug. 13. Already the rumor mill has leaked a lot of details about the upcoming Pixel 9 series and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold foldable phone. Surprisingly, the rumor mill has not revealed much about the Tensor G4 that will power the next-generation Pixel phones. A new report by Android Authority reveals that the Tensor G4 will not be a major upgrade over the Tensor G3.
Tenso G4 details leaked
According to the report, the Tensor G4 will have a 4+3+1 layout, which consists of newer ARMv9.2 cores: the Cortex-A520, Cortex-A720, and Cortex-X4. These cores are clocked slightly higher than those in the G3, which includes four Cortex-A510, four Cortex-A715, and one Cortex-X3 core.
Pixel 9 Pro XL vs Pixel 8 Pro Geekbench
Preliminary Geekbench results suggest about an 11% improvement in single-core performance and a 3% improvement in multi-core performance, although these results should be viewed with caution until more data is available.
The Tensor G4 will arrive with the new Exynos Modem 5400, which brings satellite connectivity support and efficiency improvements, reportedly offering up to 50% better power consumption than the Exynos Modem 5300 used in the Pixel 8. The GPU in the Tensor G4 remains the same Mali-G715 as in the Tensor G3, though it is clocked higher at 940MHz compared to 890MHz.
The full specifications of the Tensor G4’s CPU and GPU are as follows:
CPU (little cluster): 4x Cortex-A520 @ 1.95GHz
CPU (mid cluster): 3x Cortex-A720 @ 2.6 GHz
CPU (big cluster): 1x Cortex-X4 @ 3.1 GHz
GPU: Mali-G715 (unknown core number) @ 940MHz
Despite these hardware updates, many of the custom IP blocks that define the Tensor chips, such as the Edge TPU, GXP, BigWave, and Titan M2 security chip, remain unchanged. The packaging technology for the Tensor G4 is still identified as FOPLP.
Originally, the Tensor G4 was supposed to be an entirely different chip built independently of Samsung, codenamed “redondo,” but delays led to the decision to collaborate with Samsung once more. The Tensor G4 (“zumapro”) thus represents a minimal upgrade over the Tensor G3 (“zuma”). To sum up, while the Tensor G4 might not be a major leap forward, it does bring some improvements, such as the new modem, providing some enhancements over its predecessor.

Xiaomi‘s newly announced Redmi Pad Pro is a strong contender in the mid-range Android tablet market. It features a large 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a respectable peak brightness of 600 nits. The tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, a capable mid-range chipset, though not the most advanced.
The tablet’s 10,000mAh battery promises long battery life, and with 33W fast charging, you won’t have to wait long to recharge. However, the camera system is somewhat basic, featuring an 8MP sensor on both the front and back.
Priced at Rs 21,999 for the base 6/128GB variant, the Redmi Pad Pro offers good value, but there are other compelling options from established brands within the same price range. Let’s explore some of the top alternatives available in the Indian market. Before diving into these alternatives, let’s take a quick recap of the full specifications of the Redmi Pad Pro’s specifications.
Feature
Redmi Pad Pro
Dimensions
280 x 181.9 x 7.5 mm
Weight
571 g
Build
Glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), aluminum frame, aluminum back
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is a familiar face within Xiaomi’s ecosystem. It features a superior Snapdragon 870 5G processor than the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the Redmi Pad Pro. It also comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, which provides better performance than the LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage found in the Redmi Pad Pro.
The Pad 6 also has a slightly sharper display that boasts a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals. However, these upgrades do come at a cost—the Pad 6 is more expensive than the Redmi Pad Pro.
The latter starts at Rs 21,999 in India, while the Xiaomi Pad 6 is priced at Rs 26,999 for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Additionally, it lacks expandable storage and has a smaller 11-inches display compared to Redmi Pad Pro’s 12.1-inches.
If a large, immersive display is your priority, the Honor Pad 9 matches the Redmi Pad Pro’s 12.1-inch screen size and 120Hz refresh rate. It also features an impressive eight-speaker setup for a richer audio experience. Redmi Pad Pro, on the other hand, has quad speakers.
However, the Honor Pad 9 is equipped with a slightly less powerful Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor compared to the Redmi Pad Pro. While the Pad 9 handles everyday tasks well, it will not offer the same level of performance as the Redmi Pad Pro, especially for gaming.
Additionally, the Redmi Pad Pro has a larger 10,000mAh battery, providing more extended usage compared to the 8,300mAh battery in the Honor Pad 9. The Honor Pad 9 is priced at Rs 24,999 for the sole 8/256GB variant in India.
The Lenovo Tab Plus is a recent addition to the Indian tablet market. It features a unique 5:3 aspect ratio display which might be more suited for reading but could be less ideal for watching widescreen content.
The tablet also boasts a remarkable 26W stereo sound system with eight JBL Hi-Fi speakers, including four matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers housed in four-speaker boxes with a combined volume of 22cc. This setup provides deep bass and clear treble, further enhanced by Dolby Atmos and high-resolution audio support.
The Lenovo Tab Plus also offers a built-in kickstand and supports 45W fast charging. However, it compromises on performance with its MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and a smaller 8,600mAh battery compared to the Redmi Pad Pro. Additionally, it lacks features like expandable storage and a fingerprint sensor. The Lenovo Tab Plus is priced at Rs 22,999 in India for the 8/256GB variant.
The OnePlus Pad Go positions itself as a balanced offering. It features a decent 11.35-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1720 x 2408. The MediaTek Helio G99 processor is the same as the Lenovo Tab Plus, offering a balance between performance and battery life.
It keeps things simple with 128GB or 256GB storage options paired with 8GB of RAM and includes a microSD card slot for expandable storage. The OnePlus Pad Go also has a cellular connectivity option and has a starting price of Rs. 19,999 in India.
Ultimately, the best alternative for the Redmi Pad Pro depends on your individual needs and priorities. If you prioritize raw processing power and a high refresh rate display, the Xiaomi Pad 6 offers a significant upgrade. However, its higher price tag might be a deterrent for some users.
For media consumption enthusiasts, the Honor Pad 9’s eight-speaker setup delivers a compelling audio experience. If you prefer reading e-books, the Lenovo Tab Plus might be a good choice. Budget-conscious users could consider the OnePlus Pad Go, which offers a balanced feature set and cellular connectivity at a competitive price.
By considering these aspects and comparing the detailed specifications, you can decide which tablet best suits your needs and budget in the Indian market.
OnePlus is working on the successor of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, which was launched earlier last year. Previously it was rumored that the Buds Pro 3 would be available in three different color options – black, gold, and green. However, not much about the design and specifications were known at that point. Thanks to the latest leak (via Smartprix), we now have more information about the design and specifications of the Buds Pro 3. The publication also speculates that the product could launch soon.
OnePlus Buds Pro 3 design & specifications:
Judging from the images, the case will come with a design similar to the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro. However, the earbuds appear to boast a slightly different design. The images also suggest that the case will have a leather finish on the front. There will be a pairing button on the right and a Type-C port at the bottom for charging. The text “Co-created with Dynaudio” is written on each earbud and the ONEPLUS logo is engraved on the front of the case. The case weighs 61g.
Speaking of colors, the latest images reveal two color options – black, and a mixture of silver and gold. The earbuds will have a glossy stem and a matte finish near the ear tips.
According to the leak, the earbuds pack 11mm woofer and 6mm tweeter, each of which is reportedly powered by its own DAC (digital to analog converter).
For connectivity, the earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4, which offers 94ms low-latency audio, which can be suitable for certain scenarios like gaming. The earbuds reportedly support the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, which provides stereo-grade clarity and depth with up to 1 Mbps bitrate and 24-bit/192 kHz audio. Notably, this product will support dual-device connectivity.
The Buds 3 Pro will offer a 43-hour battery life and also supports fast charging. It reportedly offers 5 hours of music playback with just 10 minutes of charging. However, the leak doesn’t mention the state of ANC during the time. In terms of battery life, it is four hours longer than its predecessor.
Speaking of ANC (active noise cancellation), it is also bumped up from the predecessor’s 49db to 50db. In addition to that, it is claimed that voice calls should sound twice as clear.
The Buds Pro 3 is also IP55 dust and water-resistant, which means it should handle little splashes of water, rain, or sweat. While the pricing of the product is unclear at this point, it’s expected to be around Rs 12,000 (~1,035 Yuan) in India as the predecessor was launched with a price tag of Rs 11,999 in the country.
