1. iQOO 12 5G

The iQOO 12 5G is currently available with a starting price of ₹52,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant has a ₹57,999 price tag. Both variants have a ₹2,000 discount for customers using an HDFC Bank Card or ICICI Bank Credit Card.

The iQOO 12 was launched in December 2023, showcasing a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, complemented by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device also includes the iQOO SuperComputing Chip Q1 and runs on FunTouchOS 14 based on Android 14.

2. iQOO Neo 9 Pro

Like the iQOO Neo 12, the Neo 9 Pro is also being offered with a ₹2,000 discount for both HDFC and ICICI bank card users. This device comes in three variants: 8GB + 128GB for ₹34,999, 8GB + 256GB for ₹36,999, and 12GB + 256GB for ₹38,999. Applying the offer will knock down the prices of these models by ₹2,000.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, it includes LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device has a 5,160mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging.

For photography, it offers a 16MP front camera and a rear setup with a 50MP Sony IMX920 main camera (with OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Running FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14, it is guaranteed three Android OS upgrades and four years of security updates. Additional features include dual speakers, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, an x-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, and a 6K VC liquid-cooled 3D heat dissipation system.

3. iQOO Z7 Pro 5G

The iQOO Z7 Pro 5G, which launched with a starting price of ₹23,999 back in September 2023 is now down to ₹22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration. And like other devices, it is also available with a ₹2,000 discount for both ICICI and HDFC Bank card users. The same offer is also available on the 8GB + 256GB model.

The iQOO Z7 Pro features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling rate. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip, it comes with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It includes a VC liquid cooling system and runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.

The dual-camera setup has a 64MP primary sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera is 16MP. Additional features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, 5G support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and a USB Type-C port. The 4,600mAh battery supports 66W wired charging. Last month, iQOO unveiled the iQOO Neo 9S Pro equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset in China. There have been reports that the brand is also working on the iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus for the Chinese market. It appears that the device will be launching soon as it has received approval from China’s MIIT certification platform. At the same time, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the launch timeframe of the device.

A new Vivo phone with model number V2403A has appeared in MIIT’s database in China. Several tech bloggers, including DCS, have claimed that it is the upcoming iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ smartphone.

As can be seen, the MIIT listing of the alleged iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ has not revealed anything information about its specifications. According to DCS, the device will go official in July. The launch timeframe suggests that the Neo 9S Pro+ will compete with the likes of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, the Realme GT 7, and the Redmi K70 Ultra. Among these, the Redmi phone is expected to feature the Dimensity 9300+, whereas the iQOO, OnePlus, and Realme flagships are expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ specifications: What to expect?

According to reports, the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ will be an enhanced version of the Dimensity 9300-powered iQOO Neo 9 Pro, which was announced in December 2023. While it will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip onboard, its specifications are likely to remain identical to the Neo 9 Pro.

It is likely that the iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ may feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED 1.5K 144Hz display, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultrawide) dual-camera setup. OnePlus is expected to announce the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in China next month (July). After it goes official, the company may unveil the next-generation flagship phone, the OnePlus 13, in October of this year. In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the device will have three 50-megapixel cameras. Now, a new Weibo from the same source has revealed the camera sensors that will be available on the device.

According to DCS, the OnePlus 13’s rear camera setup will comprise a Sony LYT-808 primary camera, a Sony IMX882 camera for ultrawide shots, and another IMX882 camera for periscope zoom. Each of these will offer a 50-megapixel resolution. Like the OnePlus 12, the successor model will also come equipped with Hasselblad camera optimizations.

In comparison, the OnePlus 12’s rear camera setup featured the same LYT-808 primary camera. It was accompanied by a 48-megapixel IMX851 ultrawide camera, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support.

Honor’s first flip-style foldable display phone, the Magic V Flip is slated to debut on June 13 in China. While the configurations and color options of the device have been officially confirmed, there has not been any concrete information about the chipset that powers it. Now the Magic V Flip has emerged on the Geekbench benchmarking platform to reveal its chipset and a few other details.

Rumors surrounding the Magic V Flip have revealed that its model number is LRA-AN00. The said device was spotted at the 3C certification earlier this month. It revealed that the device may arrive with support for 66W fast charging.

Apple unveiled its highly anticipated AI system, “Apple Intelligence,” at WWDC 2024. While the promise of an intelligent assistant across iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices this fall is exciting, there are some limitations to be aware of.

MacRumors discovered hints within the iOS 18 beta code suggesting Apple Intelligence might have a waitlist system. Phrases like “Join the Graymatter waitlist” (Graymatter being the codename) indicate potential limitations on user access during the initial launch.

Furthermore, code mentions “unusually slow response times” in unsupported areas, suggesting a phased rollout to manage server load and ensure functionality. Whether this “limited preview” restricts the number of users or limits the available features of Apple Intelligence initially remains unclear. It’s also possible that both limitations might be implemented simultaneously. Currently, it is only compatible with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. While all iPhone 16 models expected later this year will likely support it, users will have to wait until at least September.

The good news is that Apple Intelligence extends beyond iPhones. iPad and Mac devices equipped with Apple’s M series chips will also be able to access this intelligent assistant.

Nubia has unveiled the Redmagic Mechanical Keyboard 1S, boasting features targeted towards gamers and enthusiasts. Earlier today, the company also announced the Gaming Mouse 1S.

Canon has unveiled a compact and lightweight virtual reality (VR) lens. It is the Canon RF-S3.9mm F3.5 STM dual fisheye. The new Canon VR lens is scheduled to go on sale later this month. The RF-S3.9mm F3.5 STM DUAL FISHEYE is the first non-L class VR lens to adopt the brand’s Air Spherical Coating technology, delivering stronger anti-reflection effects.

The VR lens has a built-in refractive prism and together with its optimized structure, meets the requirements of short back focus and optical path bending.

Users can also convert their videos and photos using the EOS VR Utility application into VR content.

The Apple Vision Pro headset is set for release in eight countries after its official release four months back. The countries slated for early pre-order sales of the model are Japan, Singapore, and China where a sub-$300 Apple Vision Pro alternative has been gaining popularity. The announcement was made during the annual Worldwide Developers Conference on June 11, 2024. The Apple Vision Pro was officially launched four months ago and Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the availability of the model in a sprinkling of some major markets.

The Apple Vision Pro is the Cupertino-based company’s first head-mounted display device with a long-term goal of replacing the hugely successful iPhone in the future. It is described as a new augmented reality platform and a spatial computing device. It can merge digital content with the real world to create augmented reality experiences for users.

Apple Vision Pro comes with a minimum storage capacity of 256GB and up to 1TB. Optical inserts on the model are sold separately, as is the case with what is obtained in the US market. A second headset could be in the works with the availability of the Apple Vision Pro in the international market. There are rumors that the next Apple Vision headset will be released in late 2025 or early 2026. Apple Vision Pro pre-orders for Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the UK will open on June 28 but sales will commence on July 12.

At launch, the Apple Vision Pro retailed at $3,499 but minimal discounts have been factored in since then. The international pricing of the Apple Vision Pro significantly aligns with the US price with little variation due to currency fluctuations and location-specific tax policies.

The 256GB version of the Apple Vision Pro in China is priced at 29,999 yuan ($4,135) while the 512GB model is priced at 31,499 yuan ($4,342). The 1TB version of the Vision Pro headset in China will retail at 32,999 yuan ($4,549). The optional optical inserts for the Apple Vision Pro are priced starting at 7

OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will offer Bugatti Veyron-inspired ceramic back & metal frame, claims tipster

The schematics of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro have already emerged on the internet a couple of days ago. The phone has also bagged 3C certification towards the end of last month. Now the phone is rumored to come with a ceramic back and a metal middle frame.

Renowned tipster Digital Chat Station has made the claim in one of his Weibo posts. Another recent rumor from the platform also claimed that many upcoming devices will adopt this new material in 2024. According to DCS, OnePlus will use a hot forging process for the ceramic back plate. He also added that the back panel will be white. Although, it may not be pure white but a shade of it.

The tipster says that the inspiration for using ceramic came from the ceramic version of the Bugatti Veyron. Notably, he mentioned that the back ceramic surface of the plate will have a distinct texture.

DCS separately mentioned that the phone will be the first to come with a metal middle frame + ceramic back plate build.

Notably, ceramic is generally heavier than glass, so the weight could increase slightly. Speaking of the cost, the new material is also more expensive than glass. The tipster also noted that the ceramic version could be more expensive.

Nonetheless, this is still a rumor and the company may cancel its plan regarding ceramic.

Speaking of the internals, the OnePlus Ace3 Pro is expected to be powered by last year’s flagship chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It may equip a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup on the back paired with a 16MP camera on the front. There could be a 6.78-inch BOE 8T LTPO screen with a 1.5K resolution.

According to a previous rumor, the phone will house a massive 6100mAh battery and support 100W wired fast charging.

Two of the three cameras rest inside a pill-shaped module and the third one is separated from the other two. A pill-shaped flash is placed outside the camera module. Interestingly, the camera system has one less lens as compared to the HTC U23 Pro, which was launched in May last year. The predecessor had a 2MP depth sensor, which the company might have removed.

The screen also appears to be curved on the sides, however, it can be due to the reflection from a certain angle. The chin on the bottom could be slightly wider than the one on the top. The image also shows a rounded middle frame while the predecessor comes with a flat design. Based on previous rumors, it could be a 6.8″ FHD+ (1080 x 2436) OLED display.

speaking of the internals, the phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which is an upgrade from last year’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The phone has already appeared on GeekBench confirming that there will be a 12 GB RAM variant of the phone. It could be paired with 256GB storage.

What to expect?

To give you an idea about what to expect, the U23 Pro comes with a 108MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth camera. There is a 32MP centered punch-hole camera in the front.

There is a 4600mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. Unlike many in its range, the U23 Pro offers 15W wireless charging support. So the U24 Pro could also support wireless charging alongside a slightly faster wired charging and possibly a 5000mAh battery.

That being said, the poster is still a leaked one, so take the design shift with a pinch of salt. More details will be shared soon.

Spotify originally announced its HiFi audio plans for 2021, but the launch never materialized. Since then, rumors have swirled about the specifics of this premium tier. Last year, Bloomberg reported on a potential “Supremium” HiFi plan with a higher price point. Another report, from The Wall Street Journal, suggested the add-on might bundle a remix feature allowing users to adjust the playback speed of tracks.
