OxygenOS is one of the most popular Android skins in the world. It’s a nice polished custom skin packed with lots of features and customizations. Each iteration aims to improve the user experience while adding new features and improving upon existing ones. The next iteration, OxygenOS 15, which will be based on Android 15, is going to be an exciting upgrade for OnePlus phones, as it is expected to bring some most-requested features.
Android 15 is currently going through the beta testing phase, which will last a few months before Google officially announces the stable version. While we are still a few months ahead of the official release, OnePlus users are curious to know if their device will get the Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update.
In addition to the OxygenOS 15 eligible devices list, this post includes details about the OxygenOS 15 release timeline and the exciting features it’ll bring.
OnePlus OxygenOS 15 (Android 15) Eligible Devices List
OnePlus 12
OnePlus 12R
OnePlus 11
OnePlus 11R
OnePlus 10 Pro
OnePlus 10T
OnePlus 10R
OnePlus Nord 3
OnePlus Nord CE 3
OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite
OnePlus Open
OnePlus Pad
This is not the official list of OxygenOS 15 supported devices. However, we already know which OnePlus devices will get how many updates. So, this list is based on the company’s software update policy and past rollouts. I’ll update it once the official list is out.
Two developer preview builds of Android 15 are already out, and the new OS is currently going through the beta testing phase for the addition of new features and refinements. As per the official timeline (see the image below), the beta phase will last until June.
As soon as the beta phase is over, the new OS enters the platform stability phase where it’s refined to resolve bugs and errors to prepare for the stable release.
The official timeline doesn’t reveal the Android 15 stable release timeline. However, it’s likely to be in the month of October, when Google will also unveil its latest flagship series – Pixel 9.
If you have a newer flagship OnePlus device, you may not have to wait that long, as the brand lets users test the upcoming OS before the official release. These early builds might include bugs. Hence, installing them isn’t recommended for most users.
Last year, the stable OxygenOS 14 update had started rolling out in November. We are expecting the same with OxygenOS 15.
OnePlus OxygenOS 15: What to Expect?
These are some of the best features discovered in the Android 15 developer preview and beta builds:
Satellite Connectivity Support
This feature has been spotted in Android 15 developer builds and is expected to be released as a part of Android 15. If that’s true, all Android 15-supported devices will have satellite connectivity support.
Android 15 supports satellite connectivity for SMS apps and RCS apps for sending and receiving messages. In other words, the satellite connectivity on Android 15 might not be limited to emergency uses only.
Partial Screen Sharing
Android 15 makes screen sharing better and more privacy-focused by introducing the partial screen sharing feature. You’ll be able to share the screen for a single app rather than the entire screen. This feature also works with screen recording. Android 14 or older devices record everything displayed on the screen.
Notification Cooldown
Android 15 introduces the “Notification cooldown” feature, which lowers the notification volume of successive notifications coming from the same app. This could be an important feature if an app sends you too many notifications in a small time span.
Universal Keyboard Vibration Control
Android 15 will let you universally disable keyboard vibration. The new “keyboard vibration” toggle, when turned off, overrides individual keyboard app settings. However, you will be able to control the haptics of each keyboard app by disabling it.
Sensitive Notifications
The “Sensitive Notifications” feature is a much-needed addition to Android 15 that will prevent codes from being read by other apps. Malicious third-party apps with access to SMS permission can read your OTPs and other important details, which could cost you big. Android 15’s sensitive notifications feature aims to make them more secure.
Edge-to-Edge Apps
All apps in Android 15 might be forced into edge-to-edge display by default. This should result in a more immersive experience and better readability. This feature is already present in iPhones, which adds to a better user experience. Finally, Android is bringing it into its arsenal.
High-Quality Webcam
Android 14 QPR 1 for Google Pixel phones added a feature to use your Android phone as a webcam for a PC, but the output quality was basic. Android 15 resolves this problem by adding a high-quality webcam mode that disables power optimizations.
This feature has been spotted in Android 15 Developer Preview 2, where a new “HQ” symbol appears in the webcam preview. As it disables power optimizations, expect some battery drain.
It’s rumored that Android 15 might include the ability to find your smartphone even if it’s powered off by introducing a new Powered Off Finding API. You can read more about it here.
Android 15 hasn’t been released yet. Hence, we are still hoping for many more exciting features to come. Google may announce some of them at the Google I/O event on May 14.

Samsung and AMD have been working together to bring RDNA-based GPUs to mobile processors since the Exynos 2200. The most recent Exynos 2400 also has an RDNA GPU, and the partnership has even expanded into the mid-range segment with the Exynos 1480.
However, rumors from reliable industry insiders Roland Quandt and @OreXDA suggest a shift for the Exynos 2600.
Both the tipster says that Samsung might be parting ways with AMD for graphics for its 2026 flagship chip. The South Korean giant is instead looking to develop its own GPU architecture that will make its way to the Exynos 2600.
Umm… so there's S5E9945 right? (Exynos 2400) And then there's S5E9955, which follows after that. Exynos 2400 has an AMD GPU. The follow-up will have AMD GPU, too, it seems.
After that, in 2026, Samsung seems to aim for the release of a next-gen flagship SoC feat it's own GPU.
Details on the Exynos 2600 are very scarce, particularly regarding Samsung’s plans for its in-house GPU. However, the company might still use RDNA as a foundation for building its own GPU, similar to how Qualcomm’s Adreno GPUs are rooted in AMD’s Radeon line.
Despite the shift, Samsung’s 2025 flagships, the Galaxy S25 series, will continue using the Exynos chipset, specifically the Exynos 2500 (S5E9955), with an AMD GPU. The lineup will also use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for Galaxy chip in a few markets.
It’s in 2026 when Samsung will launch the Galaxy S26 series and Exynos 2600. So there’s ample time for plans to evolve. But if the leak pans out to be true, it could suggest that Samsung is exploring a path towards greater self-sufficiency in the future of Exynos SoCs.
With the Amazon Great Summer Sale live, there are plenty of great deals on tech products. We just covered a deal on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, and now, the Apple iPhone 14 has also been listed with an attractive offer. So let’s check it out.
Apple iPhone 14 Amazon Great Summer Sale
The Cupertino based giant’s iPhone 14 is currently available on Amazon for just 58,999 INR for its base 128GB model. But that’s not all, customers can also avail an additional discount of up to 2,000 INR via ICICI or One Bank credit card EMI transactions. So the iPhone 14’s effective price tag is down to just 56,999 INR. For those looking to pay in full, a 750 INR discount is also available.
Apple first unveiled the iPhone 14 back in 2022 with the A15 Bionic chipset for a 79,990 INR price tag. It sports a 6.1-inch XDR OLED display that supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness. For protection, it comes with IP68 water and dust resistance and a Ceramic Shield for added durability.
At this price point, the Apple iPhone 14 is a solid contender as a flagship smartphone. However, it lacks a bunch of the features of the higher end Pro models. But for those looking to get a decent iOS experience, this device could be a great option that doesn’t break the bank like the latest generation iPhone 15 series.
In a world saturated with heavily customized Android skins, Nothing OS stands out for its minimalist approach and focus on a clean, user-friendly experience. Developed by Nothing, the tech company founded by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, Nothing OS aims to deliver a near-stock Android experience with subtle tweaks and unique features that enhance the overall user journey.
Here’s a deeper dive into what makes Nothing OS special:
Nothing OS embraces a starkly minimalist aesthetic. The interface is free from unnecessary bloatware, icons are simple and uncluttered, and animations are subtle and fluid. This design philosophy prioritizes clarity and ease of use, resulting in a visually calming and unburdened experience.
2. Stock Android at its Core
Nothing OS stays true to the core Android experience. It avoids heavily customizing the UI, instead offering a near-stock Android feel with subtle tweaks and enhancements. This approach allows users familiar with Android to seamlessly transition without a steep learning curve. However, Nothing OS doesn’t shy away from offering subtle customizations. Users can personalize their experience through unique wallpapers, glyph icons, and accent colors, striking a balance between stock Android’s familiarity and a touch of personal flair.
3. Numerous Customization Options
Material You Integration: Nothing OS seamlessly integrates with Material You, Google’s dynamic theming system. This allows users to personalize their color palettes across the entire system, creating a cohesive and visually appealing experience.
Folder Cover Feature: Folders can be assigned unique cover images or emojis, transforming them into discreet icons that blend seamlessly into the home screen.
Oversized Icons: Specific app icons and folders can be enlarged for easier access and visual prominence.
Unique Wallpapers: NothingOS offers exclusive “Glass” wallpapers with a subtle depth effect, adding a touch of elegance to the interface.
4. Glyph Interface Integration
Glyph Notification Light: The signature feature of Nothing phones is the Glyph interface, a set of LED lights on the back panel that illuminate in various patterns to notify users of calls, messages, and app alerts. This visual notification system adds a touch of personality and functionality, especially when the phone is placed face-down.
Glyph Customization: Users can customize the Glyph patterns for different contacts and notifications, creating a unique visual language for their phone. This level of personalization adds a fun and interactive element to the notification experience.
Glyph Integration with Apps: NothingOS allows for some third-party app integration with the Glyph interface. Additionally, the interface includes features like Google Assistant activation indication, charging level indication through wiggling, countdown timers, and progress indicators for calendar events and food orders.
5. Enhanced Usability and Gestures
Double-tap Power Button Gesture: NothingOS introduces a double-tap power button gesture that can be programmed to launch specific actions, such as opening the camera app or activating Google Assistant. This adds a convenient shortcut for frequently used functions.
Three-finger Screenshot Gesture: Capturing screenshots is made effortless with a simple three-finger swipe-down gesture. This intuitive action streamlines the process compared to traditional button combinations.
6. Additional Unique Features
Ringtones Composer: NothingOS offers a built-in ringtones composer, allowing users to create their own personalized notification sounds. This adds a touch of individuality and breaks the monotony of generic ringtones.
Lightweight Apps: The pre-installed apps on Nothing phones are carefully chosen, focusing on essential functionality and avoiding unnecessary bloatware. This helps maintain a clean system and contributes to overall performance.
7. Regular Updates
Nothing is committed to providing regular software updates and long-term support for its devices. This ensures users receive the latest security patches, bug fixes, and new features, keeping their devices secure and up-to-date for an extended period.
8. Openness and Community Engagement
Nothing is known for its transparent and community-driven approach. The company actively engages with users, gathers feedback, and incorporates suggestions into future updates. This open dialogue fosters a sense of ownership and involvement among users, further solidifying the brand’s identity.
9. Is Nothing OS for Everyone?
Nothing OS caters to a specific user segment. If you value a clean, uncluttered interface, prioritize stock Android’s familiarity, and appreciate subtle yet meaningful enhancements, Nothing OS offers a refreshing alternative. However, if you crave extensive customization options and feature-heavy interfaces, Nothing OS might not be the most suitable choice.
Xiaomi just recently got around to unveiling its top-end flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. However, it seems like the successor to the 14 lineup might be closer than expected. The Xiaomi 15 series could be announced in less than six months. So here are all the details.
Xiaomi 15 could be launching sooner than expected
The Chinese brand’s next gen flagship Xiaomi 15 is expected to follow the same launch timeline as the Xiaomi 14. For those unaware, the latter was first unveiled back in October 2023, while the global release followed in Q1 2024. But now, a fresh leak from known tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro may also arrive in mid-October 2024.
So its global roll out could will likely kick off in the early months of 2025. Based on what we know so far, the Xiaomi 15 series will be the first to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. In a previous report, we covered more information that was shared by the same tipster. The Xiaomi 15 is expected to offer a new 50-megapixel periscope lens along with a high-magnification telephoto shooter for the entire lineup.
The base Xiaomi 15 is rumored to feature the same 6.36-inch flat display as its predecessor. Meanwhile, the series will house an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. Keep in mind that this is still just speculation as of right now, so take this news with a pinch of salt.
Vivo is gearing up to launch its latest additions to the X100 series in China. Leading the pack will be the Vivo X100 Ultra, which is rumored to pack some impressive camera capabilities.
Huang Tao, Vivo’s Vice President for Product, today took to Weibo to publicly share the first camera samples of the X100 Ultra. These images show China’s Chang’e-6 lunar probe, which embarked on its mission to explore the far side of the moon on May 3rd.
While specific details are scarce, these images were likely taken with the phone’s telephoto camera with some level of zoom. Tech insider Digital Chat Station on the latest Weibo post suggests these are 10x zoomed shots.
The post also shed light on the telephoto camera’s impressive specs. It’s said to be a 200-megapixel sensor, which will allegedly be the industry’s largest telephoto sensor with a size of 1/1.4 inches.
The camera will also have a wide f/2.67 aperture, a 22.48mm physical focal length, and a “high pixel mode” capable of capturing images at a whopping 12888 x 16320 resolution.
Furthermore, DCS mentions that the phone will have a 100x digital zoom feature alongside a “telephoto macro hybrid algorithm.” Per the name, the latter should allow users to capture close-up shots of objects using the telephoto lens.
In addition to its camera prowess, reports suggest that the Vivo X100 Ultra will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED E7 display with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, it will house a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and support for 80W fast charging.

Thanks to a new leak from Finnish retailer Giganti, we now have details of the revamped Nokia 3210 including its specs as well as the price. Let’s go through it.
Nokia 3210 (2024) Specfications
The 2024 iteration leans more towards the design of the 6310 than the chunky silhouette of the original 3210. The phone now has a more contemporary look with a hint of the past in the shape and the horizontally aligned Nokia logo on the back.
A new addition on the back is a 2-megapixel camera, a far cry from the camera-free setup from the original model, but a concession to modern expectations.
Under the hood, the 3210 (2024) offers modest specs befitting a feature phone. There’s a 2.4-inch QVGA display for basic visuals, while the Unisoc T107 processor keeps things ticking along. Storage options include 64GB or 128GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card.
Powering the device is a 1450 mAh battery that promises extended use. The phone also has the classic Snake game for a nostalgic touch.
Moreover, connectivity-wise, the phone has dual SIM support for Nano-SIM cards, Bluetooth 5.0, and a welcome upgrade – a USB-C port for charging. It also retains the classic 3.5mm headphone jack and supports 4G networks.
Price and Availability
According to the retailer, the phone will launch on May 8th and will be priced at €89 starting May 15th. The Nokia 3210 is good for those seeking a reliable basic phone or a digital detox device.
The rumor mill has been churning for months regarding Apple’s potential AI integration with the upcoming iPhone 16 series and iOS 18. Thanks to a leak from Apple Insider, we might now have a sneak peek at what Apple has in store.
According to the leak, Apple’s core iOS apps – Safari, Spotlight Search, Siri, Mail, and Messages – are all slated for AI upgrades. The centerpiece appears to be a new on-device Large Language Model (LLM) dubbed “Ajax.”
This system will be able to generate complete sentences in response to user input quickly. It’s reported that Ajax will analyze text and offer multiple possible replies, sorting them by accuracy and relevance.
Moreover, the LLM is said to be able to identify keywords and phrases to generate summaries within the Safari and Messages app. In Safari 18, an “Intelligent Search” feature will allow users to get brief summaries of web pages.
Image: Apple Insider
Apple may also integrate its AI model with devices and apps. It’s reported it can identify contacts in text messages and pull relevant information from the Calendar app to help you make contextually fitting responses.
Of course, Siri will also benefit from the AI. The report suggests the voice assistant may offer simplified summaries or responses based on message content.
Image: Apple Insider
While these tasks will all be on-device, more complex tasks like creative text generation or in-depth analysis might still rely on some cloud processing. There are rumors that Apple is exploring partnerships with OpenAI and Google for such tasks.
However, Apple Insider says that the Cuppertino-based tech giant is focusing heavily on users’ privacy and is looking for ways to minimize cloud-based processing.
With WWDC just around the corner, likely Apple will officially reveal these AI-powered features during the conference. We’ll keep you posted on any new developments.

What’s New in Funtouch OS 14
Smooth Envision
It’s a name given to the performance optimizations in Funtouch OS 14 for a smoother experience. The latest Vivo skin reduces the number of persistent processes, optimizes RAM usage, enhances system performance, and responsiveness to run more apps simultaneously.
This Funtouch OS 14 feature can free up to 600 MB of RAM on devices with 8GB RAM or above to achieve better multitasking. There’s also a new App Retainer feature that ensures that whitelisted apps that have not been closed manually are always restored to their last interface.
Smoother Visuals
Some Vivo and iQOO phones running Funtouch OS 14 also benefit from Motion Blur that uses advanced algorithms to create smoother visual transitions when opening and closing apps on the home screen. On a 60 Hz refresh rate screen, it can improve visual smoothness by up to 18.7%.
Better Multitasking
Multitasking has got better with Funtouch OS 14. It brings an upgraded small window feature that allows you to keep up to 12 small windows active in the background.
The new OS also supports side-swipe suspension for better control. It’s useful when you want to focus on one app but still monitor another. For this, a new non-interactive small window mode is introduced. It only takes a single tap to switch between the small window modes.
Enhanced Video Editing Capabilities
Funtouch OS 14 packs improved video editing tools, allowing users to create unique content without third-party apps. You can customize video quality settings (up to 4K at 60 fps), export videos in the original quality, and use 25 filters to create engaging videos.
More Personalization Options
Funtouch OS 14 allows users to personalize their devices in more ways. There are three lock screen layouts, eight font styles, and new always on display (AOD) styles. The new OS also offers a minimalist theme.
There’s a Material You-based new monochrome theme, called My color palette, offering users a diverse section of colors to choose from. It optimizes the display for grayscale visuals to save power.
Smart Mirroring
The new Smart Mirroring feature in Funtouch OS 14 allows users to share their screen without revealing personal/important details in the notification bar. It’s an essential feature to protect your important details from getting accidentally displayed to the other person.
Which Vivo or iQOO phone do you have? And which Funtouch OS 14 feature(s) you liked the most? Share your valuable thoughts in the comment section below.
Back in October 2023, Samsung debuted the Galaxy Buds FE in the Indian market. The earbuds were introduced with a price tag of ₹9,999 in the country, however, they are currently available for as low as ₹4,499.
Samsung Galaxy Buds FE discount details
The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE is currently selling on Amazon for ₹7,499. On top of that, the brand is offering a discount of ₹3,000 on all bank card transactions, further knocking the price down to ₹4,499.
Samsung Galaxy Buds FE specs:
The Galaxy Buds FE promises great sound, with strong bass and clear tones. It lets you control your listening environment with features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Ambient Sound, helping you focus or stay aware of what’s around you.
Talking on the phone is easy too, thanks to its advanced three-microphone system and smart technology that cuts out background noise during calls. And with up to 8.5 hours of playback on the earbuds alone, plus an extra 30 hours with the charging case, they’re perfect for all-day use.
The Android tablet market remains a curious battleground. Samsung holds a firm grip on the high-end segment with its Galaxy Tab S series, while budget options flood the market with varying degrees of quality.
Back in early 2023, OnePlus dipped its toes into these waters with the original OnePlus Pad. Now, rumors are swirling about the OnePlus Pad 2 which is expected to launch in the latter half of 2024. Here’s a breakdown of what we can expect from the upcoming tablet.
The most prominent leak suggests the OnePlus Pad 2 will pack Qualcomm’s current best Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It would be a notable step up from the Dimensity 9000 on the first-gen Pad, delivering better performance. If true, this will position the Pad 2 squarely against the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10, which is also rumored to sport the same chip.
2. Design and Display
Leaks are currently mum on other key specifications of the Pad 2. However, some reports have claimed that it will be the rebrand of Oppo Pad 3 for the global market. It wouldn’t be quite surprising though since the original OnePlus Pad is also a rebranded Oppo Pad 2.
If this turns out to be true, we can expect the tablet with a premium design featuring an all-metal body.
The original Pad offered a decent 12.4-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Whether the Pad 2 will improve upon this remains uncertain; it might offer a higher refresh rate or a more premium panel technology like OLED.
3. Camera and Battery
Camera specs are another mystery. The first Pad’s cameras were decidedly average. However, cameras are not the priority for many tablet users. So it’s anyone’s guess if OnePlus will address this in the Pad 2.
Battery life is another crucial aspect, but details are scarce on this front as well. The first Pad offered a respectable 9510mAh capacity, but real-world usage will determine if the Pad 2 can deliver the kind of endurance users expect for extended browsing or video marathons.
4. Software
OnePlus has traditionally offered a near-stock Android experience with its OxygenOS software. It could be a major selling point for users who dislike the bloatware often found on tablets from other manufacturers. The new Pad will likely boot on the latest Android 14-based OxygenOS version.
5. A Wait-and-See Approach
The OnePlus Pad 2 could be a compelling competitor in the Android tablet space, especially if it offers the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at a competitive price point. However, the success of the Pad 2 will likely hinge on more than just raw processing power.
A beautiful display, long battery life, and a thoughtfully designed user experience, particularly with multitasking features in mind, are all will be a crucial aspect. Until more details surface, the OnePlus Pad 2 is one to keep an eye on.
Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL initially unveiled the TCL 50 series smartphones back in January at CES 2024. The lineup included the TCL 50 XL 5G, which was said to be priced under $169. Now, this smartphone has arrived in the North American market.

Hisense is entering the art-imitating-television market with the CanvasTV, a matte display designed to double as a digital art piece when not in use. This concept might sound familiar – it’s similar to Samsung‘s The Frame TV, but with a significant price difference.
The 55-inch and 65-inch models are priced at $999 and $1,299 respectively
The CanvasTV comes in 55-inch and 65-inch models, starting at a budget-friendly $999 and $1,299 respectively. In comparison, The Frame starts at $1,499 for the same size. Despite the lower price tag, the CanvasTV boasts a 4K QLED display with anti-glare technology, just like its pricier competitor. It also ups the ante with a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals, an ambient light sensor for automatic adjustments, and multi-channel 2.0.2 surround sound.
To showcase artwork, the CanvasTV comes pre-loaded with various pieces in abstract, modern, and renaissance styles. You can easily switch between these and your own photos using the “Art Mode” button on the remote. The TV even has a motion sensor that turns off the display when the room is empty for added energy savings.
While LG offers a similar “Gallery Mode” on some TVs that allows displaying artwork (including NFTs), and other smart TV makers have dabbled in gallery apps, Hisense’s CanvasTV currently holds the title of the most affordable option in the US for those seeking a TV that seamlessly blends into the background as art.
The CanvasTV comes bundled with a wall mount and a teak frame. If that doesn’t suit your decor, interchangeable white and walnut frames are available for separate purchase. Look for the CanvasTV to hit store shelves this summer.
AppleInsider has shed light on potential AI features coming in iOS 18, aligning with CEO Tim Cook‘s promises. Siri takes center stage, gaining the ability to analyze and summarize text messages. This is reminiscent of prior reports of a similar “Intelligent Search” function for webpages in Safari.
This feature seems like the “Intelligent Search” for webpages in Safari
Fueling these intelligent features is Apple’s in-house large language model (LLM) called Ajax. Research papers and AppleInsider’s report suggest a focus on on-device AI processing for iPhones. However, for complex requests, Ajax might rely on cloud servers, potentially involving partnerships with Google or OpenAI.
Privacy remains a priority. AppleInsider reports that users will be notified before Ajax utilizes data from Messages or Safari. Cook, during an earnings call, emphasized Apple’s enthusiasm for AI, hinting at “exciting things” while underlining privacy as a key advantage.
While new iPads might be unveiled at Apple’s upcoming event next Tuesday, we’ll likely have to wait until the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 10th for a comprehensive look at Apple’s AI roadmap.
