<p>The January 2026 AnTuTu performance rankings are in, and we can see Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and MediaTek&#8217;s Dimensity 9500 battle it out for the top spot. This list reflects benchmark data from the AnTuTu V performance tests that were run throughout January 2026, so here are the top performances. </p>

<h2>AnTuTu January 2026 Flagship Phone Rankings</h2>

<p>The AnTuTu rankings are based on sustained performance figures, with numbers taken from the average scores. So we get a glimpse of real world prowess over isolated peak scores. The Red Magic 11 Pro+ takes the throne of AnTuTu&#8217;s first flagship phone ranking of 2026, with an impressive score of 4,104,271 points. Just behind in second place is the Vivo X300 Pro, which achieved a strong 4,090,624 points. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8-1024x1024.jpg?x23692" alt="Red Magic 11 Pro+ Golden Saga" class="wp-image-721676" width="798" height="798" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8-696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8-1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8-420x420.jpg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/007kVUJhgy1i8sooybdy3j30u00u07s8.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 798px) 100vw, 798px" /><figcaption>Red Magic 11 Pro+ Golden Edition</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Interestingly, the Red Magic 11 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the X300 Pro is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. So we are seeing the two high end Android processors being neck-and-neck in performance. However, the Vivo X300 Pro is the only model with MediaTek&#8217;s top chip to make it near the top of this chart. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset shows up on the majority of this month’s chart, powering most of the top performers.</p>

<p>Here’s a quick breakdown of the Top 10 Jan 2026 AnTuTu flagship ranking:</p>

<ol><li><strong>Red Magic 11 Pro+</strong> – 4,104,271</li><li><strong>Vivo X300 Pro (Satellite Edition)</strong> – 4,090,624</li><li><strong>Realme GT8 Pro</strong> – 4,075,525</li><li><strong>iQOO 15</strong> – 3,940,592</li><li><strong>Honor Magic 8 Pro</strong> – 3,938,103</li><li><strong>Honor Win</strong> – 3,930,629</li><li><strong>Honor Magic 8</strong> – 3,911,883</li><li><strong>OnePlus 15</strong> – 3,879,401</li><li><strong>Redmi K90 Pro Max</strong> – 3,837,663</li><li><strong>Vivo X300</strong> – 3,739,657</li></ol>

<p>The <a href="http://gizmochina.com/2025/10/15/honor-magicpad-3-pro-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Honor MagicPad 3 Pro 13.3</a> takes the top position with a commanding average score of 4,051,634, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Honor is currently the only brand to introduce this new-generation flagship chipset to the tablet market, giving the MagicPad a substantial performance lead over all competitors. The gap is large enough to place it in a separate performance tier.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="796" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/5e21a013387f16f87584b4df96467b77-1-1024x796.jpg?x23692" alt="Honor MagicPad 3 Pro 13.3" class="wp-image-721974" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/5e21a013387f16f87584b4df96467b77-1-1024x796.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/5e21a013387f16f87584b4df96467b77-1-300x233.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/5e21a013387f16f87584b4df96467b77-1-768x597.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/5e21a013387f16f87584b4df96467b77-1-696x541.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/5e21a013387f16f87584b4df96467b77-1-1068x831.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/5e21a013387f16f87584b4df96467b77-1-540x420.jpg 540w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/5e21a013387f16f87584b4df96467b77-1.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Second place is claimed by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-pad-2-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Pad 2 Pro</a>, running the Snapdragon 8 Elite, with an average score of 3,399,451. While still highly capable, it falls well behind Honor’s latest offering due to the older chipset. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-legion-y700-2025/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Legion Pad Y700 Gen 4</a> follows in third place, also using the Snapdragon 8 Elite, achieving an average score of 3,168,903.</p>

<p>Other entries in the top ten include gaming-focused tablets from Red Magic and Lenovo, as well as productivity-oriented models from Samsung and Xiaomi, many of which rely on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ or older Snapdragon platforms. These devices deliver strong performance but lack the raw computing power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.</p>

<p>AnTuTu reiterates that tablet scores are influenced by thermal conditions, system versions, and sustained workload behavior. Devices with insufficient benchmark samples are excluded, and cross-version score comparisons are not supported.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-nord-4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Nord 4</a> came in second with 1,643,432 points. It runs Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and is the best Snapdragon option in this category, though it scores about 238,000 points below the leader.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="796" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/96335fa72d95cefce7489419177e35eb-1024x796.jpg?x23692" alt="" class="wp-image-721970" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/96335fa72d95cefce7489419177e35eb-1024x796.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/96335fa72d95cefce7489419177e35eb-300x233.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/96335fa72d95cefce7489419177e35eb-768x597.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/96335fa72d95cefce7489419177e35eb-696x541.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/96335fa72d95cefce7489419177e35eb-1068x831.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/96335fa72d95cefce7489419177e35eb-540x420.jpg 540w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/96335fa72d95cefce7489419177e35eb.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Third place went to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x6-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco X6 Pro 5G</a>, which scored 1,541,644 using the older Dimensity 8300-Ultra. Even with last-generation hardware, it still puts up solid numbers.</p>

<p>The rankings barely changed throughout December. MediaTek controls this segment with two of the top three spots. Its Dimensity 8-series chips beat Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processors in real-world use. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 is Qualcomm&#8217;s most powerful mid-range processor till date. It was released in March 2024, and we have not received a true successor of this chip yet.</p>

<p>The sub-flagship market has hit a plateau. Things probably won&#8217;t change much until new hardware arrives. Luckily, MediaTek is about to release its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/02/dimenisty-8500-leak-antutu-score-redmi-turbo-5-first-phone/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dimensity 8500</a> soon, which was recently revealed to have achieved an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/02/honor-power-2-teased-with-dimensity-8500-elite-achieves-2-4m-score-on-antutu/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">AnTuTu score of over 2.4 million points</a>. Additionally. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/02/oppo-reno-15-pro-max-reno-15-pro-global-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OPPO&#8217;s Reno 16 Pro Max</a> also made its global debut recently, featuring the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-8450" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dimensity 8450 chip</a>. It is expected to land somewhere in the middle of this month&#8217;s rankings.</p>

<p>AnTuTu collects data from phones actually being used worldwide, not lab tests. This gives a better picture of how devices perform in normal conditions. They only include phones with enough benchmark results and report scores from the best configurations that enough people tested.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-red-magic-11-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Magic 11 Pro</a> takes first place with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, scoring an average of 4,002,199. Its gaming-focused design, active cooling, and aggressive tuning put it ahead of everything else. Second is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/iqoo-15/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO 15</a>, also using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with an average score of 3,763,468. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f8-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco F8 Ultra</a> comes in third at 3,755,870, keeping up Poco&#8217;s tradition of delivering flagship performance without the flagship price.</p>

<p>All three top devices run the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Snapdragon-8-Elite-Gen-5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5</a>, showing just how much Qualcomm controls the flagship performance space this generation. Phones like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x300-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo X300 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-x9-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OPPO Find X9 Pro</a> rank lower despite solid scores because they focus more on camera hardware and photo quality instead of maxing out benchmarks.</p>

<p>AnTuTu bases these rankings on average scores, not peak numbers, so they better reflect real-world sustained performance. Any device with fewer than 1,000 valid benchmark runs gets excluded. Scores can shift based on software version, temperature, and how the phone is being used.</p>

<p>December&#8217;s flagship rankings show a quiet month globally with few new releases. Performance leadership comes down to tuning and thermal management more than anything else.</p>

<p>AnTuTu&#8217;s latest performance rankings for November 2025 just rolled in, and Red Magic appears to be dominating. The brand&#8217;s latest flagship leads the pack, followed closely behind by Oppo&#8217;s and Vivo&#8217;s new premium devices. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-red-magic-11-pro-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Magic 11 Pro+</a> is the chart leader in November, so let&#8217;s check it out.</p>

<h2>AnTuTu November 2025 Rankings: Which phones dominate?</h2>

<p>AnTuTu just dropped the updated benchmark list at the start of this month. Similar to last month&#8217;s rankings, the Red Magic 11 Pro+ still holds the throne in terms of overall performance. This next gen gaming phone is powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. What helps the chip managed to achieve such a high scored is its unique cooling system that employs both water and air.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="500" height="500" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/ZTE-nubia-Red-Magic-11-Pro-Plus.png?x23692" alt="ZTE nubia Red Magic 11 Pro Plus" class="wp-image-711988" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/ZTE-nubia-Red-Magic-11-Pro-Plus.png 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/ZTE-nubia-Red-Magic-11-Pro-Plus-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/ZTE-nubia-Red-Magic-11-Pro-Plus-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/ZTE-nubia-Red-Magic-11-Pro-Plus-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /><figcaption>Red Magic 11 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The system uses a cooling system with vapor chamber, copper foil, graphene, liquid metal, and even an physical fan. Following this device is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-x9-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Find X9 Pro</a> in second place and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x300-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo X300 Pro</a>, which places third. Interestingly, both of these premium phones are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. This is basically the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5&#8217;s direct successor in the premium Android smartphone segment. </p>

<p>The Red Magic 11 Pro+ got a score of 4,104,121 points on AnTuTu, while the Oppo Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 Pro achieve a score of 4,006,704 and 4,004,589 points, respectively. So, both chips are neck-in-neck and it&#8217;s hard to tell which processor is objectively better. Rounding off the top 5 on this list, we have the iQOO 15 and Honor Magic 8 Pro that also feature Qualcomm&#8217;s flagship chipset.</p>

Almost every day we come across a new phone model, hear these processor names, and try to understand what they mean. Especially in today&#8217;s world where problems such as app and UI performance are no longer a problem, it is quite normal to be confused. AnTuTu, which wants to eliminate the confusion and rank smartphones correctly, allows us to have an idea with its lists published at regular intervals. Recently, the platform released the best flagship models of August 2023. Here are the details&#8230;</p>

<h2><strong>AnTuTu Releases August 2023 Flagship Smartphone Rankings</strong></h2>

<p>AnTuTu has released its rankings for the best flagship smartphones in August 2023. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-red-magic-8-pro-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Magic 8 Pro+</a> took the top spot, which is not surprising. The 8 Pro+ stands out with its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Qualcomm-Snapdragon-8-Gen-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</a> processor and 16GB of RAM, as well as being a gaming phone. This means that the device has been specially designed to improve performance and cool down the hot hardware. The ASUS ROG 7 is also a high-performing device, and it also comes with a number of gaming-centric features. The top 10 devices are as follows:</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="770" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023-1024x770.jpeg?x23692" alt="" class="wp-image-566073" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023-1024x770.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023-300x226.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023-768x578.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023-696x524.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023-558x420.jpeg 558w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023-80x60.jpeg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023-265x198.jpeg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/antutu-top-10-best-performing-flagship-smartphones-August-2023.jpeg 1030w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The AnTuTu rankings are based on a variety of factors, including the CPU, GPU, memory, and UX performance of the devices. The higher the AnTuTu score, the better the overall performance of the device. If you are looking for a high-performance smartphone, then any of the devices on the AnTuTu August 2023 rankings are a good choice. However, the Red Magic 8 Pro+ and ASUS ROG 7 are the best options if you are looking for the absolute best performance.</p>

Even though there&#8217;s more to a smartphone than these things, if you&#8217;re a gamer or someone who wants a powerful phone, here are the top 10 best-performing Android phones in August 2023 according to AnTuTu.</p>

<h2>Top 10 premium smartphones on AnTuTu for August 2023</h2>

<p>With the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/16/oneplus-ace-2-pro-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">recent release</a> of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-ace-2-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Ace 2 Pro</a>, the brand has claimed the title of the top-performing smartphone in August 2023, boasting an impressive score of 1,648,735 points. The kicker is that it isn&#8217;t actually a flagship smartphone, and is much more suited to be called a flagship killer (and our <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/21/oneplus-ace-2-pro-full-review-another-flagship-killer-is-here/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">review team agrees</a>). It starts at ¥2,999 (~$410), and the 24GB + 1TB model tested by AnTuTu costs ¥3,999 (~$550). The Ace 2 Pro is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/25/oneplus-ace-2-pro-sold-out-in-3-minutes/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">incredibly popular</a> among Chinese customers, to the point where the brand is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/30/oneplus-ace-2-pro-sold-out/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">struggling to meet the high demand</a>.</p>

<p>The real standout here is clearly the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is doing most of the hard work. What&#8217;s intriguing is that all the phones in the top 10 list are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, including the iQOO 11S, which is in second place with just a 3,342-point difference, achieving a score of 1,648,735 points. Following that, we have devices like the RedMagic 8S Pro+,iQOO 11, Vivo X90 Pro+, OnePlus 11, Realme GT5, iQOO 11, Vivo X Fold 2, and Oppo Find X6 Pro.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra-1024x576.webp?x23692" alt="REDMI-K60-Ultra" class="wp-image-560418" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra-1024x576.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra-1536x864.webp 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra-696x392.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra-1068x601.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra-747x420.webp 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/REDMI-K60-Ultra.webp 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>What&#8217;s interesting is that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/03/redmi-k60-ultra-confirmed-to-feature-dimensity-9200-soc-and-pixelworks-x7-display-chip/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">recently launched</a> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-K60-Ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K60 Ultra</a> is nowhere to be found on this list. This device launched in August with the latest Dimensity 9200+ chipset, boasting a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/03/redmi-k60-ultra-confirmed-to-feature-dimensity-9200-soc-and-pixelworks-x7-display-chip/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">self-proclaimed</a> AnTuTu score of 1,774,714 points. Maybe the device will be featured in the next month&#8217;s list. For the time being, you can check out our <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/29/redmi-k60-ultra-review-vs-oneplus-ace-2-pro-theres-no-losers-here/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">review of the Redmi K60 Ultra</a>, where we have pitted it against the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro in every scenario including performance benchmarks.</p>

<p>In the first segment, AnTuTu listed the most cost effective phones under the 1,999 Yuan (roughly 315 US Dollars) price range. Here, the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-q3s/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Realme Q3s</a> topped the list with a cost effective score of 448.9 points. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-10-pro-china/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi Note 10 Pro</a> arrived second in this segment with a cost effective score of 433.5, while the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k40-game-enhanced/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition</a> came in third with a score of 409. <p>The list is entirely dominated by Snapdragon 888 flagship models which are pretty interesting. Other models on the list include the OnePlus 9 Pro, Lenovo Legion Gaming Phone 2 Pro, Vivo X60 Pro+, iQOO 7, OnePlus 9, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, and the vanilla <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-11">Mi 11</a>.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Antutu-april-2021-2.png?x23692"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-388529" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Antutu-april-2021-2.png?x23692" alt="" width="600" height="451" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Antutu-april-2021-2.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Antutu-april-2021-2-300x226.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Antutu-april-2021-2-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Antutu-april-2021-2-265x198.png 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Antutu-april-2021-2-559x420.png 559w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>AnTuTu also released a ranking of the top 10 best-performing mid-range smartphones. Just like in March, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/05/01/redmi-10x-5g-android-11-update/">Redmi 10X</a> with a MediaTek Dimensity 820 chip leads the pack with an average score of 455,838.</p>
<p>The top 10 mid-range models also include the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/03/04/iqoo-3-first-sale-in-india-today-price-offers-and-specifications/">iQOO 3</a>, Huawei Nova 8 Pro, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/honor/">Honor</a> 30, Huawei Nova 8, Huawei Nova 7, Honor X10, Huawei Nova 7 SE, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, and OPPO Reno 5 5G. It is instructive to note that there are six Huawei models on the list of top-performing mid-range models. We expect the ranking to change when that of May is listed, considering the emergence of more premium mid-range models.</p>

This list is based on user ratings of Android handsets, and is led by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/meizu-17-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Meizu 17 Pro</a>, followed closely by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-mate-40/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Huawei Mate 40</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s20-ultra-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-370304 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203175649_62574.png?x23692" alt="AnTuTu" width="775" height="380" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203175649_62574.png 775w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203175649_62574-300x147.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203175649_62574-768x377.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203175649_62574-324x160.png 324w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203175649_62574-533x261.png 533w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203175649_62574-696x341.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 775px) 100vw, 775px" /></p>
<p>The rankings from the known benchmarking based platform arrives based on user ratings of Android smartphones. In other words, the rankings are also based on customer satisfaction of a handset. This implies that the devices on the list are present due to the high ratings received from numerous users. These phones also meet customers needs in most scenarios as well and are basically the ones that have been very positively received by the Chinese market.</p>
<p>Earlier this month, the list went live with the Meizu 17 Pro leading the rankings. Since its release, the device has received various OTA updates that have added various new features, which is likely what led to its high user ratings overall, which reached 97.93 percent. Under the hood, the device sports last year&#8217;s flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm-snapdragon-865/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Snapdragon 865</a> SoC, with LPPDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The device has been built with design in mind rather than performance, although, its hardware is still quite capable.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-370303 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258.png?x23692" alt="AnTuTu" width="1030" height="772" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258.png 1030w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258-300x225.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258-768x576.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258-1024x768.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258-265x198.png 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258-696x522.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/20210203180112_58258-560x420.png 560w" sizes="(max-width: 1030px) 100vw, 1030px" /></p>
<p>The other top three rankings had the Huawei Mate 40 arrive in second, with a 97.89 percent user rating. This device features the company&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/kirin-9000e/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kirin 9000E</a> chipset and is the company&#8217;s latest flagship handset. On the third spot, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G can be found, with a 97.75 percent user rating. It features top notch specs and has recently seen price slashes as well making it more affordable.</p>

<p>The flagship performance list is from 1st July to 31st July 2020 and was calculated through an average score of any particular model. In the list, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-x2-pro-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Oppo Find X2 Pro</a> topped the list with a score of 613,048 points. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-x2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Oppo Find X2</a> arrives in a close second with 606,490 points while the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k30-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi K30 Pro</a> came in third with a score of 601706 points.</p>

<p>Other notable names down the list include the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-10-pro-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mi 10 Pro</a>,<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-ace-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Oppo Ace2</a>,<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x50-pro-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Realme X50 Pro</a>, and more. Notably, the list showcases the disparity in scores despite all of the 10 smartphones in this list featuring <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm-snapdragon-865/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 865</a> SoC. This shows that software tweaks, optimizations, and more also factor in for performance rather than just new hardware.</p>

<p>Unlike the flagship performance list, the mid range rankings had more diversity regarding the chipsets. The<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno3-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Oppo Reno3 5G</a> which topped the list features <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-1000l/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MediaTek&#8217;s Dimensity 1000L</a> and scored 442,965 points. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-10x-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi 10X 5G</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-10x-pro-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">10X Pro 5G</a> arrived second and third with 398,015 and 397,214 points respectively. Down the list, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/kirin-985/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HiSilicon Kirin 985</a> chip sporting smartphones like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-7-pro-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Huawei Nova 7 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-nova-7-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Nova 7</a> can be found. The only Qualcomm chip smartphone in this list arrived 10th in the list, which was the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k30-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Redmi K30 5G</a> with its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-768g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Snapdragon 768G</a> SoC.</p>

This year, we saw at least three new smartphones from China featuring a whopping 6GB of RAM on board along with other powerful specs. And it&#8217;s no surprise that these smartphones along with other 4GB RAM phones powered by Snapdragon 820 chip dominate the top 10 smartphone list for the month of May released by AnTuTu.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-85398" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/antutu-top-phones-may-2016.png?x23692" alt="antutu top phones may 2016" width="651" height="322" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/antutu-top-phones-may-2016.png 651w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/antutu-top-phones-may-2016-300x148.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 651px) 100vw, 651px" /></p>
<p>On top lies the Vivo XPlay Lite, which was the first 6GB RAM smartphone in the market. The phone managed to top the list with a score of 138,706 points. Next up lies the Le Max 2 with 138K points and then the ZUK Z2 Pro scoring 136,853 points on average. Like mentioned above, these three phones feature 6GB of RAM on board with the mighty Snapdragon 820 chip. The next two phones, namely the Xiaomi Mi5 and the Galaxy S7 Edge also score well, which isn&#8217;t surprising given that they have the same Snapdragon 820 chip inside but with 4GB of RAM. We don&#8217;t see much difference in the performance of 6GB and 4GB RAM phones here, mainly because, AnTuTu gives more importance to the CPU and GPU, rather than RAM.</p>
<p>Then, there are the two iPhone models, the iPhone 6S and iPhone SE, both featuring Apple&#8217;s top-end A9 chips. Even they manage to score above 130K on the benchmark test, showing the power capability of the chip inside. The last three in the list are LG G5 with Snapdragon 820, Meizu Pro 6 with Helio X25 chip (overclocked Helio X20) and finally, Honor V8 with Kirin 955m. Given that Huawei&#8217;s device has made it to the list, it shows that Kirin chipsets have finally improved their performance in comparison to its competition.</p>
