boAt has just announced the launch date for an upcoming smartwatch in the Indian market. The boAt Storm Infinity is the latest model that will be unveiled next week with a fresh teaser confirming some of the key details of this smart wearable. So here are all the details.

This smartwatch model also supports ASAP fast charging, which promises to offer 15 days of power with just one hour of charging.

boAt partners with Kaha to produce smartwatches with health monitoring and diagnostic capabilities

Indian smart wearables brand boAt has entered a partnership with KaHa for the production of smartwatches with diagnostic capabilities. The boAt-KaHa collaboration will deliver state-of-the-art smartwatches that will collect primary, preventive, and customized data.

The smartwatches are expected to use an AI algorithm to track important health metrics and provide insights into the user’s health. The diagnostic inference is based on unconventional data that are not available in hospital settings. Both companies collaborated with Jalan Kayu Community Health Club in Singapore, providing the new smartwatches to club members. The boAt-KaHa smartwatches were used to collect regular vital statistics of club members.

The project was supported by health partners such as Pinnacle Family Clinics and Tan Tock Seng Hospitals in Singapore. The project, according to the reports, will soon extend to General Practitioner Clinics in the city-state.

KaHa Pte Ltd is a recent boAt acquisition in 2022. KaHa is a smart IoT product development company and it is at the heart of boAt’s plans to create IoT-enabled wearables. KaHa comes with the requisite expertise in building IoT devices and a platform for wearables. It also offers expertise in AI and machine learning solutions together with end-to-end smart solutions for wearables. KaHa is a recipient of the Clarivae Award for Innovation in 2020 and 2021.

BoAt has put a price tag of Rs. 2,999 ($40 approx) on the Watch Mystiq making it quite affordable for the features it offers.

The Watch Mystiq features a 1.57-inch HD display with a capacitive touchscreen. In addition to that, the smartwatch can also be controlled by the crown button on the side to help navigate across the UI. The watch supports multiple cloud-based skins and themes which can be accessed through the companion application.

The Watch Mystiq is a fitness-focused smartwatch and therefore contains a plethora of health and fitness-related features like a real-time heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor (blood-oxygen), sleep monitoring, and stress monitor. boAt is gearing up for the launch of a new product in India. The company had recently launched the Watch Vertex in the region, and now, it is planning on releasing the Watch Zenit as well.

The popular smart wearables and hearables maker’s upcoming smartwatch has just been spotted on Amazon India. It sports a 1.3 inch circular IPS display that sports two crown buttons on the side for navigation. This wearable is a budget smartwatch and could even be classified as a fitness tracker as well. Although, it still offers features that are common in modern day smartwatches like an SpO2 blood oxygen tracking, heart rate sensor, and even sleep monitoring.

Furthermore, the Watch Zenit offers more than 100 watch faces and also arrives with support for sports and activity tracking like walking, running, cycling, skipping, badminton, basketball, and football. Notably, the device even features a built in video game called Young Bird, which is quite similar to the flappy bird. In a single full charge, the smartwatch can last for up to seven days.

For protection, it even features IP67 certification for dust and water resistance while we can also see that the smartwatch is listed in three color variants. This includes Black, Silver, and Blue color options. Unfortunately, it is unknown when exactly the product is set to be released in the market, with its pricing also being unlisted as of right now. boAt has finally launched the BOAT Flash Watch in India. The Smartwatch is priced at ₹2,499($34) and has features like an IP68 rating, heart rate, blood oxygen monitoring, and more.

BOAT Flash Watch Price, Availability

Boat has launched the BOAT Flash Watch in three strap colors- Active Black, Electric Blue, and Vivid Red strap. The smartwatch can be purchased via Amazon India and the company’s website. A flash has already gone live, earlier today. (Mar. 9 at 12 PM IST).

We aren’t sure when the next sale will be for the Smartwatch but at ₹2,499($34) it’s certainly a good buy if you are on a tight budget.

BOAT Flash Watch Specifications and Features

The BOAT Flash Watch features a 1.3-inch LCD display. The rim around the touch display is calibrated and we see a ‘sports watch’ etching. The watch frame is said to have a metallic design and as mentioned above, it comes in three strap color options.

These straps are made of a dual-tone silicone material and there is a physical button on the right to access various settings. This 7-day battery life is achieved by a 200mAh battery inside and it charges via a magnetically connecting charger. Other features include activity tracking(up to 10 activities), meditative(breathing mode), sedentary & hydration alerts, notifications with weather forecast, music & camera controls, and more.
