With more manufacturers killing the 3.5mm audio jack on their devices, it is not unusual to see makers of phone accessories churn out adapters for use with wired 3.5mm earphones. Dodocool joins the list with its DA134 USB-C to 3.5mm adapter.

The Dodocool DA134 is different from the ones manufacturers ship with their phones as it has an in-line remote too. The remote has three buttons – a multi-function key and volume up and down buttons. All three buttons work for media playback and calls.

The adapter is also capable of delivering Hi-Res 24-bit/192KHz lossless audio for compatible devices..

The in-line remote of the DA134 is made of aluminium alloy while the wires are copper and covered with TPE. Total length is 227mm and weight is 22g.

The Dodocool DA134 is listed on Amazon US, Mexico, Canada, UK, Germany, Italy, and Japan but is currently unavailable in all but the last three countries.

Dodocool makes affordable high-res earphones, so its not much of a surprise that they have a HiFi audio player to go with it. The Dodocool DA106 is an affordable HiFi audio player for those who enjoy high-quality music playback.

The Dodocool DA106 HiFi Audio Player not only offers lossless audio playback but also has a FM radio and HiFi voice recording (up to 192kHz/24PCM). The player has a 2-inch display with a 320 x 240 resolution and a set of controls below it and on the side.

It supports a wide range of codecs such as DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, FLAC and ALAC (up to 192kHz/24bit), APE (up to 96kHz/24bit), WAV, OGG and MP3.

They have a diverse product category that ranges from felt sleeve bags for laptops to affordable Hi-Res earphones to chargers to connectivity docks and much more.  The Dodocool DC50 belongs to the connectivity category and is a great addition for those with PCs with limited ports.

The Dodocool DC50 is a USB Type-C hub with all the necessary connectivity ports you may need. It has a USB Type-C Power Delivery charging port, a RJ45 Gigabit ethernet port, 3 x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and a 4K HDMI port in case you want to hook up a monitor to your PC.

If you are interested in purchasing the Dodocool DC50, there are some things you need to know:

• First, your device must support USB 3.0/USB 3.1 for best performance.
• The USB Type-A 3.0 ports only support an output of  5V/900mA, so this isn’t your best bet for charging phones. Dodocool doesn’t state it, but if your phone supports USB-C Power Delivery like the Google Pixel, you should be able to charge it with the PD port. However, that means your PC won’t be charging.
• The Dodocool DC50 doesn’t support charging of HP laptops and tablets via the USB-C Power Delivery port. It also doesn’t work with Samsung tablets and the ASUS Zenbook UX330UA.
• The USB-C PD port doesn’t support data transmission, so don’t go plugging a type-C storage device to it.
• For best performance, Dodocool suggests plugging only one hard drive.
• If you intend to use the HDMI port, confirm your device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode.
