If you’ve ever liked the look of an iPhone but hesitated at the price, Honor seems ready with an alternative. Images of the upcoming Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro have just surfaced online, and yes, they look more like iPhones than Honor phones.

The back panel features a full-width horizontal bar that houses the camera system, LED flash, and laser autofocus. Like an iPhone 17 Pro. Its color options are also said to include black, gold, and an orange finish. Like an iPhone 17 Pro.

Honor 600 / 600 Pro Expected Specifications 

On the front, both devices are expected to feature a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution.

Under the hood, things are still a bit unclear. Reports suggest the phones will use a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset, though it’s not confirmed whether that means last year’s flagship silicon or a newer, slightly toned-down “s” variant.

As for cameras, Honor is reportedly using a 200-megapixel main sensor with built-in hardware image stabilization. The Pro model is expected to expand on that with additional ultrawide and zoom cameras.

More impressively, Honor is expected to use a silicon-based battery with a massive 9000mAh capacity. The Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro, in comparison, has 8000mAh cell with 80W charging. 

Both models are also expected to feature a metal frame and glass panels. Other reported features include wireless charging support and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The ultrasonic scanner, in particular, would be a step up from the optical in-display sensor on the Honor 500.

There’s still no official word on when the Honor 600 series will launch or how much it will cost. We will keep you updated if any new information emerges.

Compared with the previous generation, the MagicPad 4 has undergone a comprehensive upgrade while maintaining the same price. This means that for around half the price of an iPad Pro, you can get a large-screen tablet with slimmer bezels, a thinner body and a lighter design.

Without a doubt, this could easily become one of the best portable displays to carry with you when you’re on the go.

Ultra-Thin Design with a Premium Feel

Starting with the design, the MagicPad 4 gives a very different first impression. The device measures only 4.8 mm in thickness and weighs around 450g, which already places it among the extremely thin and light tablets currently available. In fact, this thickness is close to that of many OLED display panels, so when you hold it in your hands, it feels surprisingly unusual—you don’t really feel like you’re holding a tablet, but rather a screen.

HONOR is also clearly moving toward a more premium design language. The full-metal body and ultra-narrow bezels make the device look very clean, without the typical “tool-like” feel that many cheap Android tablets tend to have. This time, HONOR clearly didn’t treat the screen as a component that just needs to be “good enough.” Instead, they built it with true flagship-level specifications.

Of course, a flagship tablet needs more than just a good display—performance is equally important. The MagicPad 4 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, built on a 3 nm process. Finally, there are some aspects of the tablet experience that are often overlooked but still very important, such as audio and battery life. The MagicPad 4 is equipped with eight built-in speakers and supports spatial audio as well as IMAX Enhanced sound.

Honor just took the wraps off the new Magic V6 foldable. Next up, the company may be preparing something very different, a gaming laptop.

According to a post from Chinese tech tipster Digital Chat Station, the gaming machine is powered by an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU.

The leaker claims to have briefly tested the laptop and says that the system was running its cooling fans at full capacity during use. While that detail doesn’t reveal much about sustained performance yet, it does suggest that the hardware inside is designed for heavier workloads.

According to the post, the prototype configuration includes 16GB of DDR5 RAM and storage options of either 512GB or 1TB SSD. 

Honor WIN 2 is also incoming!

Interestingly, the blogger also suggested a possible name for the device: “WIN Gaming Laptop.” The name appears to connect the laptop with Honor’s “WIN” lineup of smartphones; however, it is certainly not the marketing name.

The leak also mentions a new smartphone. The next-generation Honor WIN 2 smartphone is reportedly already in mold testing, which usually happens during the early hardware development stage. The leaker claims both the core configuration and peripheral components are currently being finalized.

None of this has been officially confirmed by Honor yet, but the company has previously hinted that a gaming laptop is on the way. Back in December, Zhu Chencai, general manager of PC products at Honor Terminal Co., Ltd., said on social media that a new gaming laptop was nearing release.

Later that same month, during a product launch event, Honor reiterated that the device would arrive sometime this year. The company also said the laptop would serve as the designated machine for the Delta Force Professional League.

Honor Magic V6 has officially launched today in China. The new foldable arrives with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a large 7,150mAh battery, and a design that Honor says is durable and thin.

The phone starts at 8,999 yuan (about $1,250) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. A 12GB + 512GB version costs 9,999 yuan (around $1,390), while the 16GB + 512GB model is priced at 10,999 yuan (about $1,530). 

The top-tier configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage goes up to 11,999 yuan (roughly $1,670). It’s available in four colors: Red Rabbit Red, Sunrise Gold, Snow White, and Velvet Black.

Honor Magic V6 Specifications

One of the main talking points is what Honor calls its “black diamond screen.” According to the company, the external display is coated with 5,600 layers of silicon nitride designed to improve wear resistance by three times compared to previous designs. The foldable display also includes a low-reflection coating with reflectivity rated at just 1.5 percent.

Honor demonstrated the screen’s durability during the launch event by pressing a power drill against it, claiming the display remained intact. The company says the phone can be used without a protective case and should maintain reliability for up to 36 months.

The inner foldable screen also introduces what Honor says is a “seamless crease” design. According to the brand, it reduces the visible fold, or crease, by 44 percent compared to the previous generation. The display structure includes an anti-reflective protective layer, an impact-resistant UTG glass layer, and a carbon fiber support layer. Honor claims this setup improves impact resistance by about 33 percent and has received eye-protection certification from TÜV Rheinland.

The inner display can reach up to 5,000 nits peak brightness, while the outer screen can hit 6,000 nits. Both support 4,320Hz PWM dimming and stylus input. 

The foldable is also thin

In terms of design, the Magic V6 weighs about 219 grams and measures roughly 8.75mm thick when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded. Its among the lightest and thinnest foldable phones so far. The device features a 3D textured back panel and an aerospace-grade aluminum frame.

The Magic V6 also carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings and is rated to survive water depths of up to four meters.

Despite being slim, the foldable packs a 7,150mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with silicon content exceeding 32 percent. The battery has an energy density of 985Wh/L, which Honor claims is a record for foldable devices. Honor also offers a second model with a 6,850mAh battery and slightly lower silicon content.

On the camera side, the Magic V6 includes a 64-megapixel telephoto camera using a 1/2-inch sensor and supports CIPA 6.5 level stabilization. Honor has also integrated its AiMAGE color engine and AI-assisted photography features like intelligent composition and dual-screen shooting previews.

Honor is also introducing what it calls an “AI Intelligence Officer,” which can proactively push news or scheduled content. The Magic V6 supports AI translation across 14 languages, real-time screen translation, and a range of gaming optimizations, including 120FPS support.

Connectivity is another area Honor highlights. The device supports 25 5G bands across more than 200 regions and is the first phone to support BeiDou satellite SMS services across China’s three major carriers.

Interestingly, the Magic V6 also has several features designed to work with Apple devices. Users can access iCloud Photo Library, extend their Mac display wirelessly, transfer files to a Mac with one tap, and connect with AirPods or Apple Watch features.

In addition to battery endurance, the Narzo Power offers competitive hardware for its segment. It features a 144Hz curved-edge AMOLED display, the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, and a 50-megapixel dual-camera system. The phone is priced from Rs 26,999 (~$295), positioning it as a mid-range device with an unusually large battery.

iQOO Z11- 9,020mAh (upcoming)

The iQOO Z11 is the only unannounced phone on our list. Confirmed to launch this month in China, the Z11 will house a mammoth 9,020mAh battery. Apart from this, the phone is expected to feature a 6.83-inch OLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The brand is yet to reveal its design, but it is likely to have the same design language as the existing Z11 Turbo. At present, there’s no information about the phone’s availability outside the Chinese market.

Poco X8 Pro Max – 9,000mAh

The Poco X8 Pro Max is scheduled to launch globally on March 17. It is expected to become the largest battery phone from Poco so far. Reports suggest that the Indian variant may include a 9,000mAh battery, while the global model could feature a slightly smaller 8,550mAh unit.

The device is believed to be a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which also packs a 9,000mAh battery. If the specifications remain similar, the X8 Pro Max could offer a strong combination of performance and endurance in the upper mid-range segment.

Poco X8 Pro – 7,560mAh

Launching alongside the Pro Max model, the Poco X8 Pro is also expected to focus on battery capacity. The global variant may feature a 6,500mAh battery, while the Indian edition is likely to include a larger 7,560mAh battery.

The rest of its specifications are expected to mirror the Redmi Turbo 5 sold in China. This suggests that the X8 Pro may combine strong performance with improved battery endurance compared to most phones in its category.

iQOO Z11x – 7,200mAh

The iQOO Z11x is set to launch in India on March 12 and is expected to be priced under Rs 23,000 (~$260). The phone will feature a large 7,200mAh battery, which should offer extended usage for gaming and media consumption.

The foldable Honor Magic V6 was showcased at Mobile World Congress 2026. The global version displayed at the event carries a 6,660mAh battery, but the Chinese variant is confirmed to include a 7,150mAh battery.

AnTuTu has released its top 10 Android sub-flagship smartphone performance rankings for February 2026, based on benchmark data collected using AnTuTu Benchmark V11 between February 1 and February 28. The list shows the best-performing upper mid-range smartphones based on their average benchmark scores.

February did not see many major launches in this segment, but a few new devices still made their way into the ranking. The most notable additions are the Honor Power 2, Redmi Turbo 5, and the OPPO Reno 15 series.

The Honor Power 2 ranks first with an average AnTuTu score of 2,201,537. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite processor. This chipset continues the design used in its predecessor and uses an all Cortex-A725 core architecture. MediaTek has also increased the operating frequency compared to the previous generation, which helps improve overall performance. Another thing that makes this smartphone impressive is its massive 10,080mAh battery, which it manages to fit inside a body that’s just 7.98mm thick. With this configuration, the Honor Power 2 leads the February ranking and stands out as the fastest sub-flagship Android smartphone in the latest benchmark results.

Second place goes to the OPPO Reno 15 Pro, which recorded an average score of 2,113,019. The device is powered by the Dimensity 8400-Max processor. Close behind it is the OPPO Reno 15, which ranks third with an average score of 2,102,547 and uses the same Dimensity 8400-Max chipset.

The Magic V6 will include a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, paired with CIPA 6.5 image stabilization. That level of stabilization is designed to make handheld zoom shots easier to capture, especially at longer focal lengths, where small hand movements can easily blur images. 

The camera system is backed by Honor’s AiMAGE color engine.

Honor Magic V6 introduces new ADR Display Technology

As for the display, Honor says the Magic V6 has an industry-first four-in-one coating technology designed to strengthen the outer screen while improving visibility.

According to Honor, the new coating improves drop resistance by up to 10 times, while also making the surface three times more wear-resistant and up to 15 times more resistant to scratches. The company also claims the coating reduces reflections by three times make the screen easier to see under bright light.

On the inside, the Magic V6 relies on a multi-layer protection system for both transparency and durability. Honor says the internal foldable display uses a triple-material structure that includes an ultra-low reflection AR film, newly upgraded ultra-tough UTG (ultra-thin glass), and a strong carbon fiber support layer. 

Honor is also introducing a new display feature called ADR Display Technology on the Magic V6. The technology reportedly expands video dynamic range by up to 500 percent in supported content.

The Magic V6 has also earned SGS Seamless Crease Certification, meaning the fold line should be much less visible during normal use. According to the company, the crease performance is 44% better than the previous generation. The foldable also has ultra-narrow bezels measuring just 1.18mm around the display.

Honor‘s MagicPad 4 has arrived in Europe and the UK following its MWC 2026 preview in Barcelona. The tablet stands out for its extremely slim build, measuring just 4.8mm thick, which the company claims makes it the thinnest tablet currently available.

The Honor MagicPad 4 features a 12.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3000 × 1920 pixels. The panel reaches a peak HDR brightness of 2400 nits and supports refresh rates up to 165Hz. Multiple adaptive refresh levels are included to balance smooth visuals and power consumption during scrolling, gaming, and video playback.

Despite the slim design, the tablet weighs around 450 grams. It measures 273.4mm in width and 178.8mm in height, giving it a relatively compact footprint for a device with a large display.

Powering the MagicPad 4 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform. The tablet is available with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

The device includes a 10,100mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. This capacity is intended to support extended productivity and media use throughout the day.

On the right side of the frame, Honor has added a dedicated shutter button likely to wake the camera with one touch. The device is available in two color options: Velvet Grey and Desert Gold.

Powering the phone is MediaTek’s MediaTek Dimensity 7100 Elite processor. The chip is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, Honor is testing the Magic 9 Pro with not one but two 200-megapixel sensors on the back. One is said to serve as the primary camera, while the other would power a periscope-style telephoto lens. 

Honor Magic 9 Pro Camera Specifications (Expected)

The more interesting part is the choice of sensor. The prototype is said to be using either the OmniVision OV52B or the OmniVision OVB0D, both 200MP sensors, but with slightly different sizes and capabilities.

The OV52B reportedly comes in a 1/1.3-inch format and is expected to appear in several 2026 flagship phones. It’s designed to balance high resolution with improved dynamic range, which could help capture more detail in both bright and dark areas of a scene.

The OVB0D, on the other hand, is even larger at 1/1.12 inches and supports OmniVision’s LOFIC Gen 2 HDR technology. LOFIC, short for Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor, is meant to improve dynamic range and reduce blown-out highlights in challenging lighting. The display remains one of the headline features. Honor is sticking with a 14.6-inch OLED touchscreen in a productivity-friendly 3:2 aspect ratio. In his post, Wang Fei didn’t just talk about crease control. He framed it as an important factor for attracting first-time foldable buyers, especially those who remain skeptical about durability or display quality. According to him, managing the crease is crucial, but it’s only part of the story.

He says that thinness and lightness remain the “core technologies” of foldable phones. In his view, a successful foldable can’t just look good when open; it has to stay slim and easy to carry. And importantly, that thinness shouldn’t come at the cost of battery life, reliability, performance, or overall user experience.

That’s a familiar tension in foldable design. Reducing the crease often requires hinge redesigns, new display layers, or tighter tolerances, all of which can affect thickness, weight, and internal space for components like batteries. Brands have been juggling these trade-offs for years.

The headline feature, however, is still the battery. A 9,000mAh silicon battery would be unusually large for a mainstream smartphone. Silicon-based batteries are gradually becoming more common, allowing brands to increase capacity without making devices dramatically thicker.

On the camera side, the leak mentions a 200MP main sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size, paired with a telephoto lens. A sensor that large could help with low-light performance and detail retention, while the telephoto lens suggests the company isn’t cutting back on zoom capabilities.

Samsung stayed on top of Europe’s smartphone market in 2025, but Apple was the one that really moved the needle.

Fresh data from Omdia shows Europe shipped 134.2 million smartphones last year. That’s down just 1% from 2024, not a dramatic drop, but it signals demand is still soft. Between tighter consumer spending and regulatory shifts like mandatory USB-C and eco-design requirements, the market never really found strong momentum.

Even so, the big names tightened their grip. Samsung and Apple together accounted for 62% of all shipments in the region.

Samsung held the No. 1 spot with 46.6 million units shipped, translating to a 35% market share — up slightly from 34% a year earlier. Growth was modest, roughly 200,000 additional units year-over-year, but the company managed to steady things after a slow start. Things picked up later in the year, helped by aggressive pricing on the Galaxy A16 and particularly strong demand for the Galaxy A56, which reportedly ended up as Europe’s best-selling smartphone overall in 2025.

Apple, meanwhile, had the stronger growth story.

Apple shipped 36.9 million iPhones in Europe, up 6% year-over-year, reaching a record 27% market share in the region. Much of that came from steady upgrade cycles and strong demand for the iPhone 16 series. The iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro Max performed well at the high end.

Xiaomi remained in third place with 21.8 million shipments and a 16% share, though volumes dipped slightly. Motorola followed with 7.7 million units (6% share), down 5% year-over-year. Honor broke into the top five with 3.8 million units and a 3% share, showing noticeable momentum toward the end of the year.

Overall, the market looks increasingly split. Premium devices continued to drive growth, while the budget segment stayed under pressure. Samsung leaned on its mid-range strength, Apple capitalized on premium upgrades, and both extended their lead.

Based on early images, the Honor Magic V6 continues the company’s established foldable design language. The rear camera module retains the familiar octagonal shape seen in previous models, although a notable change this time is a more symmetrical layout for the camera arrangement.

The Magic V6 also appears to maintain a strong focus on an ultra-thin and lightweight form factor, which has been a defining feature of the series. Shown below is another image that gives a good look at the V6’s design.

According to the above-mentioned tipster, the Magic V6 will come in shades like white, black, and gold, apart from the red edition shown in the images above. He further revealed that the V6’s topmost edition will house a massive 7,150mAh battery, making it the largest battery seen on a foldable phone.

Under the hood, the Magic V6 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Its massive battery will have support for 120W wired and wireless charging. Its rear-mounted triple camera setup is rumored to feature a 200-megapixel primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.

The Magic V6’s other expected features include wireless charging, full waterproofing, support for Beidou satellite communication, and a side-facing fingerprint sensor. While the dimensions of the V6 are not known yet, it is said to be thinner and lighter than the previous generation, which measured around 4.1 to 4.2mm when unfolded, 8.8 to 9mm when folded, and weighed 217 / 222 grams.

Several users on the Chinese social media platform Weibo shared photos of Hong Kong actor and singer Nicholas Tse on what looked like a commercial shoot, holding an ultra-slim foldable phone. It doesn’t take much guesswork to assume it’s the upcoming Honor Magic V6.

The photos confirm that Magic V6 retains the company’s familiar octagonal rear camera module. The frame shows visible antenna lines, which point to a metal build. But the more interesting detail this time might be the finish.

A previous leak from Weibo tipster WhyLab claimed the device would arrive in a red vegan leather finish. The phone in these new images seems to match that description, and this will likely be the prime color of the foldable.

Honor Magic V6 Specifications

The Magic V6 has passed China’s 3C certification with a typical battery capacity of around 7,150mAh. As far as we know, it could be the largest battery ever fitted into a foldable flagship. Honor is also said to be pairing that with 120W fast charging. 

The rest of the rumored specs include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 200-megapixel main camera with a large sensor, and a periscope telephoto lens. Other expected features include wireless charging, full waterproofing, and support for Beidou satellite communication. 

And because this is an Honor foldable, it’s reasonable to assume the company will continue to push on thinness and weight. That’s been the pitch for the past few generations.

For context, last year’s Honor Magic V5 already pushed the limits of thinness and weight, measuring just 8.8mm when folded and weighing 219 grams, while packing a 6,100mAh battery. 

We won’t have to wait much longer to see how much of this holds up. The Honor Magic V6 is expected to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress, which kicks off on March 5th.

A new accessory kit developed in collaboration with accessory maker Telesin is designed specifically for the Honor Magic 8 Pro, turning the flagship into something that feels closer to a compact camera. While the Porsche Design variant already has its own official kit, the Magic 8 Pro didn’t. This new “Professional Photography Grip Kit” fills that gap.

The Magic 8 Pro already has solid camera hardware. It features a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor and a 50MP main camera with a bright f/1.6 aperture. On paper, it’s more than capable. What this kit changes is how you interact with it.

The kit starts with a custom protective case that supports standard 67mm screw-on filters. That means users can attach ND filters, polarizers, and other accessories typically reserved for dedicated cameras. There’s also a mounting point for a wrist strap and magnetic support for quick attachments.

The more interesting piece is the detachable grip. It magnetically snaps onto the case and adds physical controls, including a prominent red shutter button, a zoom slider, and additional shortcut keys. One button handles quick video recording, while another can act as a power switch or programmable function key. A front dial allows for exposure adjustments or other manual tweaks. It’s clearly aimed at users who prefer tactile controls instead of tapping a screen.

The package also includes a 200mm teleconverter lens attachment. It connects via an adapter ring and effectively increases the phone’s optical reach. Combined with the Magic 8 Pro’s existing periscope camera, it should help with distant subjects like wildlife or sports.

As with most clip-on or add-on lenses, real-world performance will depend on alignment and optical quality. But in theory, this gives the phone a bit more versatility than stock hardware alone.
