<p style="text-align: justify;">Nokia&#8217;s authorized distribution partner in Malaysia, Avaxx, held an event for dealers recently where it revealed in a slide presentation that we will be getting between six to seven Nokia smartphones this year with models covering entry level, mid-range and high-end flagships. The new smartphones are said to start launching in the second quarter of the year.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/161230nokiamyavaxx02.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-114032" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/161230nokiamyavaxx02.jpg?x44794" alt="nokia phone ppt leak" width="960" height="666" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/161230nokiamyavaxx02.jpg 960w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/161230nokiamyavaxx02-300x208.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/161230nokiamyavaxx02-768x533.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Avaxx slide also mentions that HMD will continue to launch Nokia feature phones. So expect more phones like the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/13/hmd-global-unveils-first-nokia-phones-nokia-150-150-dual-sim/">Nokia 150 and 150 Dual</a>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We already know about the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/26/nokia-android-phone-leaks-nokia-d1-e1-sketches-surface-reveals-design/">Nokia E1, D1</a>, D1C and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/19/nokia-z2-plus-4gb-ram-spotted-geekbench/">Z2 Plus</a>, so that means we should expect 2 or 3 more models (which might include a tablet) that have not even been mentioned at all.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Nokia E1 is expected to be the entry level model with a Snapdragon 200 SoC while the D1 and D1C may come with chips from the Snapdragon 400 and Snapdragon 600 series respectively. The Z2 Plus on the other hand will be one of the flagships with a <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-835">Snapdragon 835</a> processor.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Nokia will be focusing on the Chinese market seeing as the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/29/nokia-e1-gets-3c-certification-launch-not-far-off/">Nokia E1 has gotten its 3C certification</a>. Giving attention to China will help them achieve the high sales figure they need.</p>

However, the first set of Nokia smartphones under the new company will be announced at The Mobile World Congress in February.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">New reports coming in say the company is working with Taiwanese supply chain companies in order to release four new models slated to launch in Q2 and Q3 of next year.</p>
<figure id="attachment_112989" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-112989" style="width: 600px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-112989" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1.jpg?x44794" alt="Nokia D1" width="600" height="346" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-300x173.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-112989" class="wp-caption-text">Nokia D1</figcaption></figure>
<p style="text-align: justify">According to the source, the four new models will have screen sizes falling between 5.0 and 5.7-inches and will sport WQHD or FHD resolutions. The source also says that display suppliers will include LG Display, Century Technology (CTC) and Innolux, while Foxconn subsidiary, FIH Mobile will serve as production partner.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">While HMD Global has not confirmed which phones will be launching at MWC, guesses are that one of the two devices will be the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/30/rumor-nokia-d1c-come-two-versions-different-ram-camera-display-sizes/">Nokia D1C</a> which is rumored to be available in two versions with different display sizes, camera sensors, and memory. The version with the lower specs is said to be called the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/26/nokia-android-phone-leaks-nokia-d1-e1-sketches-surface-reveals-design/">Nokia E1</a>.</p>
<figure id="attachment_112988" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-112988" style="width: 1024px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-112988" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-and-Nokia-E1-Android-smartphones.jpg?x44794" alt="Nokia E1" width="1024" height="463" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-and-Nokia-E1-Android-smartphones.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-and-Nokia-E1-Android-smartphones-300x136.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-and-Nokia-E1-Android-smartphones-768x347.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-112988" class="wp-caption-text">Nokia E1</figcaption></figure>

<p style="text-align: justify">Another device that is expected to surface at the event is the dual-camera sporting <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/18/beautiful-nokia-c1-renders-specs-4gb-ram-sd-830-dual-cameras/">Nokia C1</a>. While the Nokia C1 is just basically renders, the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/19/nokia-z2-plus-4gb-ram-spotted-geekbench/">Nokia Z2 Plus</a> seems to be a more realistic choice seeing as it already made an appearance on GeekBench.</p>

The leaked sketches of the smartphones have now surfaced.</p>
<p>The rumor mill has revealed a lot about Nokia D1C midrange smartphone that is speculated to get unleashed at MWC 2017. However, there are new rumors starting that another Nokia smartphone dubbed as Nokia E1 will also get unveiled at the event.</p>
<p>The leaked sketches of Nokia D1 and Nokia E1 are said to have surfaced from a well-known source that has a good track record of revealing leaked information of prototype leaks from Nokia and Microsoft in the past.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-112990 aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-E1.jpg?x44794" alt="nokia-e1" width="600" height="534" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-E1.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-E1-300x267.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The rumored Nokia D1C (aka D1) would be arriving in two variants. Fresh speculations suggest that the Nokia E1 may be lower-end version of the Nokia D1C midrange smartphone. A distinct ‘NOKIA’ logo can be clearly seen on the top right of the leaked sketches both the phones.</p>
<p>The Nokia D1 seems to have rounded edges whereas E1 has squared edges. &nbsp; The placement of selfie camera and proximity sensor suggest that is offers a better symmetrical design. It appears that it does not feature a physical Home button.</p>
<p>The Nokia E1 seems to sport a design that is similar to Lumia 830/925. It sports a physical Home button that may house a fingerprint scanner. It also appears that upper and lower edges are equipped with dual antennas.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Related:</span>&nbsp;<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/22/nokia-launch-mysterious-smartphone-powerful-specs-china/">Nokia to Launch A Mysterious Smartphone With Powerful Specs in China?</a></strong></p>
<h3><strong>Nokia D1C Specifications, Price</strong></h3>
<p>The <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/30/rumor-nokia-d1c-come-two-versions-different-ram-camera-display-sizes/">Nokia D1C</a> is pegged to be available in two versions that will feature different display sizes, RAM and camera configurations. The smaller model is expected to house a 5-inch full HD display, 2 GB of RAM, and 13-megapixel rear shooter.</p>
<p>The larger Nokia D1C is expected to house a 5.5-inch display, 3 GB of RAM and 16-megapixel rear snapper. Both the models are expected to be powered 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 processor.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-112988 aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-and-Nokia-E1-Android-smartphones.jpg?x44794" alt="Nokia D1, Nokia E1" width="1024" height="463" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-and-Nokia-E1-Android-smartphones.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-and-Nokia-E1-Android-smartphones-300x136.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Nokia-D1-and-Nokia-E1-Android-smartphones-768x347.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>Other common features include Android 7.0 Nougat and 8-megapixel fixed focus selfie camera. The Nokia D1C with 2 GB of RAM is expected to cost 999 Yuan ($144) and the 3 GB RAM model is likely to cost 1,299 Yuan ($187).</p>

Fresh information suggests that the Finnish company is prepping a special smartphone with impressive internals exclusively for Chinese audience apart from the other rumored <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/nokia">Nokia </a>Android smartphones.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/30/rumor-nokia-d1c-come-two-versions-different-ram-camera-display-sizes/">Nokia D1C midrange smartphone</a> has been in the rumors for quite some time. It may not be the real name of the and is likely to come with a different moniker at launch. However, apart from Nokia D1C, the company is rumored to be working on a special smartphone for its fans in China.</p>
<h3>Special Nokia Smartphone Arriving Exclusively for China</h3>
<p>Leaked information coming from China that the mysterious Nokia smartphone has impressive configuration but it is not a flagship device. Like the rumored <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/19/nokia-z2-plus-4gb-ram-spotted-geekbench/">Nokia Android flagships for 2017</a>, this special phone is expected to come loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.</p>
<p>It will be powered SD 6XX series chipset. However, it is unclear whether it will feature Snapdragon 625/626 SoC or the more powerful Snapdragon 652/653 chipset from Qualcomm. The SoC will be coupled with 4 GB of RAM along with a native storage of 64 GB.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-105965 aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render.jpg?x44794" alt="nokia" width="640" height="623" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render-300x292.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Related: </span><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/11/upcoming-nokia-smartphones-rumored-cost-around-150/">Upcoming Nokia Smartphones Rumored to Cost Around $150</a></strong></p>
<h3>Design to be its USP?</h3>
<p>What’s interesting about the upcoming special smartphone from Nokia is its design. The phone is said to feature a non-round design, so maybe it&#8217;s similar to the Lumia design with sharp corners. Its chassis is rumored to be entirely made up of metal. The placement of the antenna bands on the device will be similar to what is present on iPhone 7.</p>
<p>Nokia will be returning to the world of smartphones to take on newer rivals by the end of January or early in February 2017. As far as the pricing of the mysterious Nokia smartphone is concerned, it is expected to launch with an affordable pricing to attract the home market.</p>

This was contained in a press released made public earlier today by the Finnish company.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/19/nokia-confirms-return-smartphones-2017/nokia-cmd-2016/" rel="attachment wp-att-107590"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-107590" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016.jpg?x44794" alt="nokia-cmd-2016" width="807" height="468" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016.jpg 807w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016-300x174.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016-768x445.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 807px) 100vw, 807px" /></a></p>
<p>According to the release, the license is a global one that spans the entire world with the exception of only Japan. The license gives HMD the exclusive right to use the Nokia brand name on mobile phones and tablets for the period of the license. The press release also disclosed that Nokia will get royalty payments from HMD for every Nokia branded phone and tablet sold and the royalty covers both brand and intellectual property rights.</p>
<p>This announcement is coming less than six months after the Finnish company was revealed to have signed a strategic licensing agreement with Nokia to have the rights to release Nokia branded phones for the next decade. The announcement then, could be an indication that the company is ready to kick-start the release of smartphones and tablets that would signal the grand entry of the Nokia brand into the market under HMD&#8217;s leadership.</p>

<p>The company has hired a couple of former Nokia Execs in its bid to re-jig the ailing giant which still has a large follower-ship worldwide. HMD global Oy is expected to unveil its first Nokia-branded phones at MWC 2017. The expected phones have appeared in leaks recently, better recalled as Nokia D1C and latest rumor hints at the existence of two variants of the device. The company is also expected to release feature phones, tablets and a host of other products in due course.</p>

We had all along thought it was a 5.5-inch device but it <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/13/nokia-d1c-13-8-inch-tablet-gfxbench/">appeared on GFXBench as a 13.8-inch tablet</a> creating some sort of confusion. It is very likely, though, that the GFXBench listed screen size was an error. The latest rumor about the Nokia D1C is that the device would come in two versions that would be different from each other in their display sizes, RAM sizes as well as sensor sizes of their cameras.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/06/real-renders-nokia-smartphone-metal-body-leaked/nokia-render/" rel="attachment wp-att-105965"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-105965" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render.jpg?x44794" alt="nokia" width="640" height="623" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render-300x292.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>According to the source, one of the variants would sport a 5-inch display with 1080 pixels resolution. The same variant is said to pack 2GB of RAM as well as a 13MP rear camera sensor. On the other hand, the second version which is the top most is said to come with a 5.5-inch 1080 pixels display and would have a larger 3GB of RAM onboard as well as a huge 16MP rear camera sensor.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/06/real-renders-nokia-smartphone-metal-body-leaked/nokia-render2/" rel="attachment wp-att-105966"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-105966" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render2.jpg?x44794" alt="nokia" width="640" height="457" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render2.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/nokia-render2-300x214.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>Both versions are said to be powered by the same 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 chip with the Adreno 505 GPU firing up the graphics. Both versions would also run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. They both are said to also share the same 8MP front-facing camera sensor. These specs look similar to the ones with which the D1C ran through <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/02/nokia-d1c-found-geekbench-sports-sd-430-chip-android-nougat/">Geekbench</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/08/nokia-d1c-ran-throuh-antutu-reveals-specs/">AnTuTu</a>.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">While the only phone we have heard about is the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/08/nokia-d1c-ran-throuh-antutu-reveals-specs/">Nokia D1C</a> which sports mid-range specs, a source says the company is working on a flagship phone that will first launch in China.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-107743 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-phone.jpg?x44794" alt="Nokia Android Phone" width="600" height="348" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-phone.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-phone-300x174.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The phone is said to come in two sizes: 5.2-inches and 5.5-inches, which will use a 2K AMOLED display. It will sport Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 820 chip, run Android Nougat, and have an IP68 rating which means you should be able to dunk it in water with a maximum depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The source has also said that the D1C which sports a Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage, and runs Android Nougat will have a design similar to the Lumia 925.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">The former tech giant has an annual event called Capital Markets Day (CMD) where they review the company&#8217;s strategy, operations, and financial targets. This year&#8217;s edition was held in Barcelona and a slide shown at the event states that 2017 will be the year of (the) &#8221;Nokia brand&#8217;s return to smartphones&#8221;.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-107589" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016-1.jpg?x44794" alt="nokia-cmd-2016-1" width="806" height="456" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016-1.jpg 806w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016-1-300x170.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016-1-768x435.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 806px) 100vw, 806px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Like previous rumors have already stated, Nokia would not be making the smartphones itself but it will be working in collaboration with Finnish company, HMD Global, and Taiwanese company; Hon Hai Precision Industry Co, which we all know as Foxconn.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Nokia will provide patents which HMD will use to develop, market, and sell Nokia-branded phones and accessories. Foxconn on the other hand will handle manufacturing and research and development (R&amp;D). The agreement will run for a period of ten years after which they might decide to renew it or end it.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-107590" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016.jpg?x44794" alt="nokia-cmd-2016" width="807" height="468" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016.jpg 807w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016-300x174.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Nokia-CMD-2016-768x445.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 807px) 100vw, 807px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The first Nokia branded smartphone expected to be released next year is the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/08/nokia-d1c-ran-throuh-antutu-reveals-specs/">Nokia D1C</a> which showed up on Antutu and Geekbench a few months ago. The D1C is expected to launch with Android Nougat, an unconfirmed screen size with a 1080p resolution, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/04/11/worlds-first-snapdragon-430-smartphone-ivvi-i3-pictures/">Snapdragon 430 SoC</a>.</p>

According to recent reports, the phone is not the Mi 5c but the Xiaomi Meri. The Xiaomi Meri was benchmarked on Antutu and GeekBench yesterday revealing new details about the device.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-102648" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Xiaomi-Meri-GeekBench.png?x44794" alt="xiaomi-meri-geekbench" width="248" height="225" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Starting with GeekBench, the Xiaomi Meri scored 758 points in the single core test and 3105 in the multi-core test. Comparing these scores to that of the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/02/nokia-d1c-found-geekbench-sports-sd-430-chip-android-nougat/">Nokia D1C</a>, we can say both phones are in the same class. While the Xiaomi does score higher than the Nokia in the single score test, the Nokia D1C has a higher multi-core test score. The similarity of both devices doesn&#8217;t even end there. They both use 8-core processors clocked at 1.4GHz, although we already know the D1C is equipped with a Snapdragon 430 SoC but that of the Meri is unknown.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The Xiaomi Meri runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has 3GB of RAM which is in accordance to last week&#8217;s leak but the surprising part is the processor. An image from the first leak shows the phone has a processor clocked at 2.2GHz, even one of the new pictures below still shows the same info but the processor on GeekBench is clocked at 1.4GHz. A possible explanation might be the use of two different processors, hinting at more than one variant of the phone.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-102647" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Xiaomi-Meri-Antutu-1.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi-meri-antutu-1" width="126" height="225" /> <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-102644" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Xiaomi-Meri-Antutu-4.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi-meri-antutu-4" width="126" height="225" /> <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-102645" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Xiaomi-Meri-Antutu-3.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi-meri-antutu-3" width="126" height="225" /> <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-102646" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Xiaomi-Meri-Antutu-2.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi-meri-antutu-2" width="126" height="225" /> <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-102643" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Xiaomi-Meri-6.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi-meri-6" width="126" height="225" /> <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-102642" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Xiaomi-Meri-Antutu-X.jpg?x44794" alt="xiaomi-meri-antutu-x" width="126" height="225" /></p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Going to Antutu, the Xiaomi Meri scores a total of 63,581 points which is way lower than what a high-end phone should score. The Meri is also compared against the LG V10 in one of the pictures above and even scores higher in some categories.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">We have also added more leaked photos of the device below.</p>

The Nokia D1C has been listed on the benchmarking website&#8217;s database, revealing a comprehensive list of specs the device packs. One which stood out among the pack is the display size which is given as 13.8 inches, a tablet size! The device had earlier ran through <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/02/nokia-d1c-found-geekbench-sports-sd-430-chip-android-nougat/">Geekbench</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/08/nokia-d1c-ran-throuh-antutu-reveals-specs/">AnTuTu</a> benchmarks but none revealed the size of the display.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/nokia-d1c-gfxbench/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-102320" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/nokia-d1c-gfxbench.jpg?x44794" alt="Nokia D1C GFXBench" width="679" height="794" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/nokia-d1c-gfxbench.jpg 679w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/nokia-d1c-gfxbench-257x300.jpg 257w" sizes="(max-width: 679px) 100vw, 679px" /></a></p>
<p>Well, if you are a avid fan of the Nokia brand looking forward to the return of Nokia phones, you shouldn&#8217;t get disappointed just yet. The thing is GFXBench are not always reliable when it comes to the size of the device&#8217;s display. More often than not, they provide values not corresponding to reality. Apart from that, the device is also listed as packing a 16MP rear camera as well as an 8MP front-facing camera. There is no doubt this confirms the device is very much likely a smartphone and not a tablet.</p>

The device is also expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat said to be the Android Google Play Edition.</p>

Now that the 2-year deal (with Microsoft) preventing the release of phones bearing the Nokia name has ended, it is not surprising for us to hear about a new Nokia phone. We first reported that the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/02/nokia-d1c-found-geekbench-sports-sd-430-chip-android-nougat/">Nokia D1C was found on GeekBench last week</a>, this time around it has made its way to Antutu.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Antutu confirms the details we saw last week on GeekBench but reveals a little more. The D1C runs Android 7.0, comes with a Snapdragon 430 processor, an Adreno 505 GPU, and has 3GB of RAM. The screen size is unknown but the resolution is 1920 x 1080.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-101626" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Nokia-D1C-Antutu.png?x44794" alt="nokia-d1c-antutu" width="595" height="859" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Nokia-D1C-Antutu.png 595w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Nokia-D1C-Antutu-208x300.png 208w" sizes="(max-width: 595px) 100vw, 595px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The phone&#8217;s built-in storage is also revealed to be 32GB. We also get to know the camera configuration. There is a 13 megapixel shooter on the back and an 8 megapixel camera in front for selfies.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">READ MORE:</span> <span style="color: #3366ff"><a style="color: #3366ff" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/06/foxconn-installs-40000-robots-across-factories/">Foxconn Installs 40,000 Robots Across Its Factories</a></span><span id="more-101624"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">I&#8217;m pretty excited about the camera if and when the phone gets released. Nokia phones are known to have great cameras and one way they can win with this phone is to offer a great camera that rivals most mid-range devices and sell the phone at a low price.</p>
