Nubia X8 has been making the rumor rounds for the past few months. However, as of now, we haven’t received any official confirmation from the company. Nubia seems to be focused on the Z11 series for now, so X8’s launch should be a while later. However, leaks about the phone continue to come in, and today, we have a lot of new information about this flagship smartphone.

According to the latest rumors, the Nubia X8 flagship will come in four different versions, Nubia X8 lifestyle, X8 standard,  X8 high and X8 PPT. The Lifestyle version will be the less powerful model in the lot, coming with the hexa-core Snapdragon 650 chipset with 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM. There will be a large 6.4-inch 1080p display. The phone will be the cheapest model in the series and will feature excellent battery life.

Next up is the Nubia X8 Standard Edition which will feature Snapdragon 820 chipset with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, and a 6.4-inch 1080p display. The high version will upgrade the RAM, ROM, and resolution to 4GB, 64GB and 2K respectively. Finally, there will be a top-end PPT version which will feature the still unannounced Snapdragon 823 chipset with 6GB of RAM. Till now, we have only seen a single smartphone from Nubia in 2016, namely the Nubia Z11 Mini. Two other models with better specs are expected to be released soon, called as the Z11 and the Z11 Max. And possibly in the second half of the year, we could meet these four rumored Nubia X8 models. Unfortunately, as of now, nothing is official, so remember to take this news with a pinch of salt.

Looks like January is going to be an important month for Nubia. After rumors about a Jan 5 release of the Z11 turned out to be false, we were hoping that the company would release the device sometime soon. Yesterday, the company started sending out invitations for its January 18 event and we assumed it could be for the recently leaked Z11. But now, a few images of another handset have been leaked, most likely of the Nubia X8. So, we could see either of these devices at the event this month.

From the pictures, we can see that the Nubia X8 comes with an all metal body with a fingerprint sensor at the back. The leaked model actually reminds us of a phone that we had seen earlier. Remember, a few weeks back, we spotted an unknown Nubia model with fingerprint at a company event? Well, this looks like the larger model of that smartphone. Have a look at that leaked image from down below.

Today’s leaked phone looks large, which means it will most likely feature a gigantic 6.44-inch display like its predecessor, the Nubia X6. However, the resolution will reportedly be bumped up to 2K.

Another major highlight of the phone is going to the chipset inside. It is said that the phone will be coming with Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC. And to support the high-end specs of the device, there will be a large 4500mAh battery on board.

The bezels of the phone look super thin and the screen to body ratio is also quite impressive. Looks like we are soon going to meet another beautiful Nubia flagship. Other details of the Nubia X8 is not known, but we will update you guys if anything more comes up.

Nubia has an official event on January 18, which means we will get to know very soon whether we meet the X8 or the Z11.

Just yesterday, we came across a couple of alleged pictures of the ZTE Nubia X8. Now, more pictures have been leaked online revealing some new features of the device.

According to the new leak, the Nubia X8 flagship will feature the latest reversible USB Type-C port. This would be a logical move since almost every smartphone that have been released recently come with Type-C port instead of the traditional one. We can confirm this from the image down above.

Also, the images reveal that the X8 will feature a similar design as the Nubia Z series family with an all metal body. The leak shows off a device in gold color. We can also see the front of the device, which shows that the phone will be bezelless. Of course, there is a possibility that there might be thin black bezels around the display. However, given that the Nubia Z9 was bezelless and the bezelless look of the teaser image, we can expect the same display on the X8 too.

The front looks pretty normal with the standard red color home button and camera and a bunch of sensor on top. At the back, we can see the rear camera unit with LED flash. What’s interesting though, is the side buttons. It looks like the volume keys will be touch sensitive. Also, the power button is said to feature fingerprint recognition as well.

Unfortunately, we still don’t have much idea about the specs, but you can expect high-end features on the upcoming device like 5.5/5.7-inch 2K display, 4GB RAM & 5120mAh battery.

Given that Nubia has an event on October 15, we may see the Nubia X8 flagship as soon as this Thursday.

Back in May, we had come across a new leak which showed off the ZTE Nubia X8. However, since that time, we haven’t heard much about this particular smartphone. Now, Nubia phone has just released a new teaser on their Weibo page, and from the picture, it looks like this particular device will also be bezelless. Further, the teaser image comes with an X at the bottom, which could be a hint that this is the rumored Nubia X8.

While we will most likely see this handset as soon as October 15, a new leak shows us some of the features of the phone even before the launch. First of all, as you can see, the phone comes in pure gold color with a basic Nubia Z9 like design.

However, what makes this design even more interesting is the buttons on the side. You can see that they are not the traditional volume button that we have seen on smartphones. They look like touch based side buttons, which will make it unique among latest offerings. Also, the power button is expected to integrate a fingerprint sensor.

Like the ZTE Nubia Z9 which was bezelless, the Nubia X8 is also said to be bezelless featuring an improved 2.5D arch egde display. As for the specs, earlier leak hinted that the phone might come with a 5.5-inch 2K display with 4GB RAM, and a large 5120mAh battery. But these specs are yet to be confirmed. Since the company has already released a teaser, we can expect the launch on October 15, which is just a couple of days away.

ZTE has been busy for the past few months, unveiling three new devices in its premium Nubia lineup. We have already seen the beautiful and bezelless ZTE Nubia Z9 along with two other devices namely Nubia Z9 Mini and Z9 Max.

After seeing these many releases, we thought that the company would be silent for at least a couple months, but it looks like there’s another product in the Nubia lineup that will launch soon. Earlier today, we came across several pictures of the ZTE Nubia X8 phablet. The leaked image revealed a full metal premium body with a fingerprint sensor just below the rear camera unit.

To be honest, we had already seen these images a few months back, but they were assumed to be of the Z9 series. But as you may know, the Z9 series phones came with a different design, which means, this could be another Nubia product, possibly the Nubia X8.

We haven’t heard any official news from the company as of yet, so its best to wait for some more concrete information in the next few weeks.
