<p>Its cameras are also quite capable hardware-wise, as the phone sports a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64b40 primary sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 front camera. However, many users feel that the device is lacking on the camera software front.</p>
<p>To solve this issue, we have found the best GCam Apk for the POCO M4 Pro.</p>
<p>Budget-range devices don&#8217;t usually get the software polish and optimization for their camera apps from the manufacturers. This is where Android-based operating systems truly shine, as the developer community picks up the slack and offers more optimized solutions.</p>
<p>GCam has many advantages over the stock camera, such as HDR+ and HDR+ Enhanced capabilities to provide more details and high-quality images. Other features include Astrophotography, Night Sight, Panorama, Motion Photos, Lens Blur, etc. Additionally, users can load several configuration files to maximize the functionality of the GCam APK and tune the camera according to their tastes and needs.</p>
<h3><strong>Download GCam for POCO M4 Pro</strong></h3>
<p>You can download the GCam v8.1.101 from BSG, as it is the most stable GCam port for the POCO M4 Pro. Many users have tested this version of the GCam and confirmed that it produces better images than the stock app in both well-lit-up and low-light environments.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Download GCam for POCO M4 Pro from <a href="https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-bsg/f/dl75/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">here</a></strong></p>
<p>Make sure that you are downloading the MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1zfix_MGC.apk, which is the second link on the list.</p>
<p>Additionally, users can customize their GCam image output by using various config (XML) files that provide specific tuning to the app. Some popular config files for GCam v8.1.101 are:-</p>
<ul>
<li>Leica for BSG</li>
<li>Leica for BSG (ultra-wide)</li>
<li>Simple DSLR</li>
<li>True to life</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Download the GCam Config Files from <a href="https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11_tt6ohm_Yyv7W00gK9riHXxLL2nvrbI?usp=sharing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">here</a></strong></p>
<h3><strong>Download LMC for POCO M4 Pro<br />
</strong></h3>
<p>There is another GCam port called LMC which specializes in human shots and comes with a whole host of additional features like a Leica preset, Pro mode, and more.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Download LMC from <a href="https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-hasli/f/dl9/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">here</a><br />
</strong></p>
<p>Make sure that you are downloading the LMC8.4_R13_Fix2.apk, which is the first link on the list. For the best human shots, you will need to load this <strong><a href="https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yD2VdxEtiA-5hBiiSf5ZhEUUpCXNWqt7?usp=sharing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">config file</a></strong>.</p>
<h3><strong>Steps to Install GCam &amp; LMC on</strong> <strong>POCO M4 Pro</strong></h3>
<p>It is quite easy to install an external APK on POCO M4 Pro. Just follow the steps below:</p>
<ol>
<li>Download the apk file from the above link.</li>
<li>Open the APK, and it will ask for permission to install apps from external or Unknown Sources.</li>
<li>Enable either by simply tapping on the pop-up and proceeding with the instruction, or you can go to <strong>Settings</strong> &gt; <strong>Security/Privacy</strong> &gt; <strong>Enable Installation from Unkown Sources. </strong></li>
<li>You can now simply launch the installer package or APK file again.</li>
<li>Wait for the process to complete, and you’re ready to use it.</li>
</ol>
<h3><strong>Steps to Load Config Files in GCam</strong></h3>
<ol>
<li>Navigate to the internal storage of your device and create a folder called GCam.</li>
<li>Make sure that this folder is on the same level as DCIM, Downloads folders.</li>
<li>Create a folder inside the GCam folder called Configs8.</li>
<li>Move the downloaded XML files into the Configs8 folder.</li>
<li>Open the GCam App and double-tap the area around the shutter button.<img loading="lazy" class="size-medium wp-image-490469 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-14-000258-159x300.jpg?x10805" alt="GCam config files" width="159" height="300" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-14-000258-159x300.jpg 159w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-14-000258-222x420.jpg 222w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-14-000258.jpg 301w" sizes="(max-width: 159px) 100vw, 159px" /></li>
<li>Select the config file and tap on &#8220;restore&#8221;.</li>
<li>If you are using an operating system based on Android 12 and above, you will need to allow GCam to Access All Files. (App permissions-&gt;Files and media-&gt; Allow management of all files).</li>
</ol>
<h3><strong>Steps to Load Config Files in LMC</strong></h3>
<ol>

Before its debuts, the Indian Twitter handle of the company has started teasing the phone&#8217;s highlights. Last time, we learned some <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/25/poco-m4-pro-4g-teasers-give-away-plenty-of-the-phones-details/">key details</a> about the display and features, and now, the company has revealed the phone&#8217;s design and colors.</p>
<p>POCO revealed the design of the upcoming POCO M4 Pro 4G and the device looks to have a similar camera island as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-m4-pro-5g/">5G model</a>. However, the camera module is a bit tweaked. It has the main sensors at the top and two other sensors at the bottom. It also has an LED flash beside the lenses. If we zoom in, we get to learn that it has the rumored 64MP primary lens. And if we go by the leaks, the other two sensors will be an 8MP lens and a 2MP unit.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-445931 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-4G-highlights.jpg?x10805" alt="POCO M4 Pro 4G" width="1600" height="900" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-4G-highlights.jpg 1600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-4G-highlights-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-4G-highlights-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-4G-highlights-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-4G-highlights-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-4G-highlights-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-4G-highlights-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px" /></p>
<p>Apart from the rear camera design, it also has a plan back with a Paperlike back texture. It seems to have a matte finish with less reflective color shades. <p><span style="font-weight: 400">The only things that are left to learn now are the phone’s design and its price. Perhaps, they may also leak ahead of the official launch on February 28.</span></p>

POCO devices are most often rebrands of already-launched Redmi devices and the M4 Pro 4G is no exception. The phone appears to be based on the same chassis as the Indian Redmi Note 11S but has a less pixel-dense camera.</p>
<p>While a Google Play Console listing had revealed a few of the key specifications of the device a couple of days back already, tipster <a href="https://twitter.com/heyitsyogesh/status/1496350606985891842">Yogesh Brar</a> has now leaked a few more details.</p>
<p>First things first, the POCO M4 Pro 4G comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The POCO M4 Pro 5G came with an LCD panel so it&#8217;s actually an improvement this time.</p>
<figure id="attachment_443428" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-443428" style="width: 696px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-443428" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-5G-Featured-B-1024x683.jpg?x10805" alt="POCO M4 Pro 5G" width="696" height="464" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-5G-Featured-B-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-5G-Featured-B-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-5G-Featured-B-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-5G-Featured-B-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-5G-Featured-B-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-5G-Featured-B-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/POCO-M4-Pro-5G-Featured-B.jpg 1185w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-443428" class="wp-caption-text">Freshly-launched POCO M4 Pro 5G</figcaption></figure>
<p>Under the hood, you get the 12nm MediaTek Helio G96 CPU that will be paired with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The chipset is supported by 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS2.2 storage</p>
<p>For photography, you get a triple camera setup at the back, comprised of a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. The front camera will be housed within a center-aligned hole punch and will have a 16MP resolution. No info yet on the sensors though.</p>
<p>The POCO M4 Pro 4G will be booting into MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box, both of which aren&#8217;t the latest anymore.</p>
<p>The device&#8217;s battery will be sized 5,000mAh and will support 33W fast charging.</p>

It has 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 11 OS. We expect the device to have more variants and come with either MIUI 12.5 or MIUI 13 on the top.</p>
<p>Previously, the POCO M4 Pro 4G made it to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/18/another-variant-of-the-poco-m4-pro-4g-2201117si-appears-on-the-geekbench/">Geekbench certification</a> with model number 2201117SI(another variant with &#8220;miel&#8221; codename). It confirmed that the device has an Helio G96 chipset. The phone scored 526 single-core points and 1832 multi-core points.</p>

<p>Rumors have it that the upcoming M4 Pro 4G will be a rebranded version of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-11s/">Redmi Note 11S</a>. The only difference could be in the rear camera island. Having said that, the phone may sport a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.</p>
<p>The Note 11S has a 108MP primary camera, so we can expect the same sensor on the Pro. The smartphone may have a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.</p>

The smartphone comes with a 90Hz display and has <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-810">MediaTek&#8217;s Dimensity 810 chipset</a>. Now, the company is expected to launch the POCO M4 Pro 4G in different markets. Today, the smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench listing giving away some key details.</p>
<p>The POCO M4 Pro 4G has model number 2201117SI and it has scored 526 points in the single-core department and 1832 points in the multi-core department. The device has a chipset codenamed &#8220;miel&#8221;. It is believed to be the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/helio-g96">MediaTek Helio G96 chipset</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-444411 " src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench.jpg?x10805" alt="Poco M4 Pro 4G 2201117SI" width="424" height="524" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench.jpg 637w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench-243x300.jpg 243w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench-324x400.jpg 324w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench-340x420.jpg 340w" sizes="(max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px" /></p>
<p>The smartphone boots on Android 11 OS and has 6GB of RAM. We expect the handset to run on either the MIUI 12.5 or the MIUI 13 skin.</p>
<p>Previously, another model of the M4 Pro 4G made it to the same listing. It carries <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/02/09/poco-m4-pro-4g-helio-g96-6gb-ram-geekbench/">model number 2201117PG</a> and has a little variance in the scores. Although nothing is confirmed, we speculate that the difference in model numbers could be because there will be different variants for different markets.</p>
<p>Also, as per a previous leak, the Poco M4 Pro 4G <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/01/27/poco-m4-pro-4g-could-be-a-rebranded-redmi-note-11s/">could be a rebranded model</a> of the Redmi Note 11S. It is worth noting that model number 2201117SI originally <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/12/01/key-details-of-alleged-redmi-note-11t-pro-note-11-pro-global-note-11s-poco-m4-leaked/">pertains to the Redmi Note 11S</a>. So, we might end up seeing the Note 11S&#8217; design on the M4 Pro 4G.</p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-442479" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench.png?x10805" alt="Poco M4 Pro Geekbench" width="640" height="774" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench.png 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench-248x300.png 248w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Poco-M4-Pro-Geekbench-347x420.png 347w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></p>
<p>The 4G variant of the POCO M4 Pro is revealed to carry the model number 2201117PG. The handset scored 517 points in the single-core test of Geekbench 5 and managed a score of 1852 points in the multi-core round.</p>
<p>The Geekbench listing revealed that the smartphone houses an octa-core processor arranged in a  2 + 6 core configuration. The two performance cores are clocked at 2.05GHz while the remaining 6 cores have a 2.00Ghz clock speed. The code name ARM MT6781 leads us to believe that it is a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Helio-G96/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MediaTek Helio G96</a> SoC which is based on a 12nm node and has the Mali G57 GPU onboard.</p>
<p>Other than that, the listing reveals that the POCO M4 Pro 4G will come with 6GB RAM and will boot Android 11 out of the box.</p>

<p>To get a better idea of what to expect from the POCO M4 Pro 4G, we can take a look at its 5G sibling which has already been released in some markets and is slated to launch in India on February 15th.</p>
<p>The POCO M4 Pro 5G come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz display (LCD), MediaTek <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Dimensity-810/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Dimensity 810 SoC</a>, 50MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) dual camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, dual stereo speakers, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, 5,000mAh battery, and 33W fast charging.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to </span><a href="https://t.me/xiaomiui/10537"><span style="font-weight: 400">findings</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> by </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Xiaomiui</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400">, the POCO M4 Pro 4G is codenamed Fleur with model number 2201117PG. The device is listed with the same details in the MIUI </span><a href="https://t.me/xiaomiui/10754"><span style="font-weight: 400">code</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Bizarrely, the newly announced Redmi Note 11S also has the same codename and near-identical model numbers.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This clearly suggests that the upcoming POCO M4 Pro 4G could be a rebranded Redmi Note 11S. Anyway, we aren’t surprised as </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/POCO/"><span style="font-weight: 400">POCO</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> phones have always been rebranded or tweaked versions of Redmi smartphones, except for the original </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/POCO-F1/"><span style="font-weight: 400">POCO F1</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> (aka </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-pocophone-f1/"><span style="font-weight: 400">POCOPHONE F1</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">POCO-branded products are usually cheaper than their Redmi counterparts. Hence, the forthcoming handset will be likely cheaper than the phone it is based on.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">As far as availability is concerned, the POCO M4 Pro 4G appears to have only one single model number, which belongs to the ‘Global’ variant. Therefore, for now, we can say that the smartphone could be limited to a select few markets, especially those in Southeast Asia as it has bagged </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/01/13/poco-m4-pro-4g-2201117pg-nbtc-certified-likely-to-launch-soon/"><span style="font-weight: 400">NBTC (Thailand) certification</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
