Realme has officially launched the Open Beta version of its realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, for its realme 10 Pro 5G and realme 10 Pro+ 5G models. This new update introduces several features and design improvements.

Key Features and Design Improvements

The realme UI 5.0 Open Beta introduces the Fluid Cloud feature, which allows users to interact with morphing forms for quick access to updated information. Additionally, the update includes a File Dock for easier content transfer between apps and devices.

The update also focuses on cross-device connectivity with an improved Shelf that offers additional widget recommendations. For security, there’s enhanced management of photo and video permissions to ensure safer app access.

The aesthetic aspect of the interface has been upgraded with an Aquamorphic Design, featuring a natural and clear color style. This design extends to new aquamorphic-themed ringtones and system notification sounds. System animations have also been made smoother.

Notable Additions and Existing Issues

A notable addition in the update is the carbon tracking AOD, which displays the carbon emissions saved by opting to walk instead of drive. The Open Beta program for realme UI 5.0 starts on 17th January for the realme 10 Pro 5G and on 18th January for the realme 10 Pro+ 5G. This program allows users to experience the new features before the official release. The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola edition is scheduled to launch on Feb. 10 in India. The company has already released a teaser video to showcase its design. At the same time, a leaked video of the device has surfaced on Twitter, giving another look at the special edition device.

The Coca-Cola edition coming to the Indian market is a special version of the Realme 10 Pro 5G, which is already available in the market. The video shared by tipster Ishan Agarwal shows the regular Realme 10 Pro 5G and its special Coca-Cola edition after a few seconds.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola edition has a black-red dual-tone design. The black part has dual camera rings with red accents and the Realme logo towards the bottom. The right part of the phone’s back has the Coca-Cola branding with a red background.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola edition is expected to pack the same specs as its regular version. It will feature a 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel with a centrally placed punch-hole. The Realme 10 Pro Coca-Cola edition’s launch date has appeared on its landing page on Realme India’s website. However, it does not have any other information about the device. Here is the first look at the device.

As can be seen, it will sport a dual-tone design that features a black portion housing the camera module and the Realme logo on the left. The Coca-Cola branding with the red background is available towards the right. It is likely that the device may pack the same specs that are available on its regular version.

Realme India has officially teased a Coca-Cola phone on its India website. The brand has put up a microsite without revealing any explicit details. Additionally, Vice President Madhav Sheth also shared a post on his social handle that reveals a Realme 10 Pro 5G and a Coca-Cola can reflecting on the phone’s back panel. The teasers hint at an imminent launch of the Realme-branded Coca-Cola phone in the country. 

Going by the aforementioned developments, Realme might be partnering with the American beverage company Coca-Cola. The phone in the image shared by Sheth seems to be the Realme 10 Pro 5G. It has dual camera rings housing two sensors in each and Matrix AI Camera text beside the lenses. The phone is also seen with a glossy and gradient back panel. On the other hand, the microsite has the words ‘Really Refreshing’ and ‘Cheers for Real’. There is also a Realme mascot covered in the Cola drink. 

The Coca-Cola phone surfaced in leaked render earlier this week. The image revealed a Red-colour back panel matching the beverage company’s theme. There’s a Coca-Cola logo across the entire back panel’s right side. The smartphone is expected to debut in the country by the first quarter of 2023. Not much is known about the device but in addition to the new design, we may expect it to also come with Coca-Cola theme UI. 

As the Coca-Cola phone could be a special edition of the Realme 10 Pro 5G, it may come with similar specifications. This means that it may feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 108MP triple-rear cameras, Snapdragon 695 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with curved edges. It produces Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 1080 chip powers the device with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

It is equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. On the back, it has a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The 5,000mAh battery of the device supports 67W fast charging.

In China, the Realme 10 Pro series runs on the latest Realme UI 4.0 and Android 13 OS. It remains to be seen whether the global models will also come preloaded with the latest software.

The listing does not reveal anything about the major specifications of the device. However, it does reveal that it is a 5G-ready device. On the front, the RMX3663 will feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Its back panel will have a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. There is a possibility that the Realme 3661 (Realme 10 Pro 5G) may arrive with almost identical specifications.

In related news, the Realme 10 4G, featuring the Helio G99 chipset, will debut on Nov. 9 globally. The device will arrive with key specs like a 6.4-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
