Edifier has launched its latest desktop Bluetooth speaker, the Huazai Melo Bar, in the Chinese market. It is priced at 329 yuan ($48) and is now available on JD.com. The speaker is available in two colors, Mist White and Night Black.

The Edifier Melo Bar uses dual 52mm drivers with a symmetrical bass reflex system for enhanced bass and clear mids and highs. It features a Class D amplifier, providing 5W total continuous output (10W peak), and DSP tuning for balanced sound in all modes.

Philips has announced the full details of its revived Moving Sound audio lineup, a product range that draws design inspiration from the company’s 1980s-era devices while incorporating current wireless and smart audio features. LG Electronics has introduced the LG Sound Suite, a new premium home audio system in South Korea. The system focuses on delivering spatial sound throughout the home without requiring fixed wired speaker placement. LG says the setup is designed for watching movies and sports, streaming music, and regular TV viewing. It was initially unveiled at CES 2026 back in January.

Flexible multi-speaker system

The Sound Suite lineup includes four main components. The Soundbar H7 serves as the central hub and manages sound processing using AI. The M7 and M5 models act as surround speakers that can be placed in different parts of the room to create a wider soundstage. The W7 subwoofer is responsible for handling low frequencies and providing deeper bass.

LG says the system supports up to 50 configuration combinations. When users build the system around the soundbar, there are 28 possible configurations. A setup centered around an LG TV allows 22 combinations. The largest configuration uses the Soundbar H7, four M7 surround speakers, and the W7 subwoofer. In this setup, the system outputs 13.1.7 channels designed for full multi-directional audio.

Audio technologies and features

One of the main features is Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. This technology identifies where speakers are placed and adjusts the audio output automatically. Users can place speakers freely around the room without losing spatial audio accuracy. The feature works with LG premium TVs released in 2025 and 2026 for synchronized sound output.

Sound Follow is another key feature. It uses ultra-wideband wireless technology and the LG ThinQ app to detect where the listener is located. The system then adjusts the audio so the user hears sound from the best listening position.

Room Calibration Pro analyzes the size, layout, and acoustic characteristics of the room. Based on this analysis, the system adjusts audio output to suit the installed environment.

The system is powered by LG’s third-generation Alpha11 AI processor. Through AI Sound Pro+, it identifies voices, music, and sound effects, then adjusts levels for clearer playback. AI Upmix also expands low-channel audio into multi-channel output so all speakers in the setup are used.

Peerless premium drivers are included to deliver balanced high and low frequencies. The system supports wireless streaming through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with stereo and standalone listening modes available.

LG will begin selling the Sound Suite in South Korea starting April 2026 through LGE.COM and LG Best Shop retail stores.

The Soundbar H7 is priced at 1,299,000 won, which is around $880 or ₹80,650. The W7 subwoofer costs 799,000 won, about $541. The M7 surround speaker is priced at 549,000 won, about $372. The M5 surround speaker costs 449,000 won, about $304.

IKEA has launched a new portable speaker in Europe called the Grejsimojs Portable Bluetooth speaker. The product is part of the Grejsimojs range, which focuses on playful designs made for kids.

The Grejsimojs Portable Bluetooth speaker is built around a single 1.6-inch full-range driver. It delivers a total power output of 2 W and covers a frequency range of 150 to 19,000 Hz. The maximum sound pressure level is rated at 73.8 dB. Audio is streamed over Bluetooth. The Grejsimojs speaker is described as a “musical mouse.” It features a purple ABS plastic body with four legs and two ears. Sound is emitted from the front of the mouse’s face. Edifier has officially launched the M330 II Bluetooth speaker in China. The new model is priced at 959 yuan ($138) and features several upgrades over the previous generation, including support for LDAC, Apple AirPlay 2, and a longer battery life.

Panasonic Japan has announced the SoundSlayer x Final Fantasy XIV surround-sound neck speaker, model SC-GNW10S-FF. It is priced at 35,200 yen (about 230 dollars) and will be released in Japan on December 11, 2025. The product will be sold mainly through Panasonic Store Plus and will be available until the end of December 2026. Sales may end earlier if the planned stock runs out.

This new edition is based on the SC-GNW10S gaming neck speaker. The original model is known for its four speakers, strong surround sound, comfortable fit and easy operation. It also supports low-latency wireless audio through a 2.4 GHz dedicated connection. The hardware and performance remain the same on the SC-GNW10S-FF, but Panasonic has added official Final Fantasy XIV design features.

The neck speaker includes FFXIV job icons on the console, while the transmitter is styled with a meteor design linked to the game. The SP-WS10BT uses a 2.4 GHz digital wireless system that keeps audio delay low. JVC lists latency at about 30 ms between the speaker and the included TV transmitter. The transmitter connects to the TV through an optical input or a 3.5 mm analog input and is powered by its own AC adapter.

The speaker has a 2-way setup with two tweeters, one woofer, and a large passive radiator. The cabinet is made from MDF to reduce vibration and keep audio clear. JVC says this design improves mid and high frequencies and gives the speaker better low-end output for its size. Users can choose from Clear, Music, and Movie sound modes. Clear Voice focuses on dialogue for easier listening.

Bluetooth 5.4 is included for wireless music playback from phones or tablets. It supports SBC and AAC codecs. TV audio and Bluetooth audio can be switched with one button.

Last month, the company confirmed its plans to establish a wearable technology manufacturing facility in Manesar. QCY aims to capture a $75–100 million value share in India by 2026. It currently serves as Xiaomi’s A+ manufacturing partner and handles TWS production and app integration within the Xiaomi ecosystem. In India, QCY has partnered with WooDoo Ventures for marketing and distribution. The brand also announced future investments in R&D, offline retail, and local production under the Make in India initiative.

It includes five ambient themes: Snowy Fireplace, Sunrise, Blossom, Aurora, and Ocean, that can be customized through the Harman Kardon One app, which also allows users to adjust the brightness of the lighting.

Harman Kardon has equipped the speaker with a three-way audio system. It includes six 40mm midrange drivers, one 25mm tweeter, and a 143mm subwoofer. The total RMS output reaches 160W, divided into 20W x 2 for the midrange, 20W for the tweeter, and 100W for the bass unit.

The speaker supports a frequency response range of 45Hz to 20kHz and delivers an 80dB(A) signal-to-noise ratio. Harman Kardon’s proprietary sound field technology ensures consistent audio performance throughout the room.

The new model supports Bluetooth 5.4 and includes support for A2DP 1.4 and AVRCP 1.6.2 profiles. It allows users to connect two devices simultaneously and switch between them with ease.

The speaker also supports Auracast stereo pairing, which enables users to wirelessly link two Aura Studio 5 units for true left-right stereo playback.

The design includes a recessed waistline with touch-sensitive controls arranged in a ring layout. The speaker measures 306.4 x 234 x 234 mm and weighs 4.2 kilograms. Harman Kardon has used recycled materials in the build and FSC-certified packaging with soy-based ink to reduce environmental impact.

TCL is stepping beyond the soundbar. The company has announced the Z100 Wireless Home Theater Speaker System, the first product in the United States to ship with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. It marks the beginning of a new category in TCL’s audio portfolio and is designed to work seamlessly with its 2025 premium QD-Mini LED TVs.

Dolby Atmos FlexConnect is positioned as the antidote to rigid home theater setups. Instead of forcing users to calibrate around a fixed arrangement, the system automatically adapts to the room layout and speaker placement.

That means speakers can be set virtually anywhere in a space and still deliver optimized Dolby Atmos sound. TCL and Dolby are presenting it as a solution that blends flexibility with immersion, eliminating the usual pain points of home theater calibration.

The Z100 speaker design leans on high-end audio components such as large rare-earth NdFeB magnets, silk-dome tweeters, and tightly wound voice coils. Each unit supports a 1.1.1 channel configuration, with dedicated main, bass, and height channels, and delivers up to 170 watts (RMS).

TCL says the system can be expanded to four speakers, with an optional matching wireless subwoofer that integrates seamlessly with TCL’s latest QM8K, QM7K, and QM6K TVs.

It’s a modular approach: start with one or two speakers, add more over time, and let the system automatically recalibrate. That growth-friendly model makes it less intimidating for people who want the depth of Dolby Atmos without committing to a massive setup on day one.

In the US, the Z100 is priced at $399.99 per speaker. TCL is also offering bundles: the Z100 Duo with two speakers for $799.98, the Z100 Trio+ with two speakers and a subwoofer for $1,299.97, and the Z100 Quartet+ with three speakers and a subwoofer for $1,699.96. All bundles are available through major retailers starting this week.
