OnePlus CEO Pete Lau is gradually spilling information on the features of the forthcoming OnePlus 5T smartphone. His recent Weibo posts have suggested that the smartphone would be arriving with a higher price tag than the OnePlus 5 phone. One of his recent Weibo posts also suggests that the OnePlus 5T would be equipped with stellar dual rear cameras.
Lau has specifically said that the OnePlus 5T will be able to shoot impressive photos in low-light conditions. This indicates that the dual rear cameras of the OnePlus 5T will be better than dual snappers on OnePlus 5. However, he did not share any information on the camera configuration of the OnePlus 5T.
Rumors have it that the OnePlus 5T may feature a pair of 20-megapixel cameras on its back panel. It is also expected to house a front-facing camera of 20-megapixel that will be able to shoot topnotch portrait photos.
Through another Weibo post, Lau has hinted that the OnePlus 5T would be coming with full screen design. Recent reports have revealed that the OP5T is heavily pegged to arrive with FHD+ 6-inch screen that will deliver an aspect ratio of 18:9. OnePlus has also confirmed that the OP5T will not be equipped with wireless charging feature, but the company will be retaining the 3.5mm audio jack.
The OnePlus 5T will be unveiled to the world on Nov. 16 and its first sale will begin on Nov. 21. As far as the pricing of the OP5T is concerned, the 64 GB and 128 GB models are speculated to be respectively priced around $519 and $579.
