The Nubia Z17miniS that was unveiled a few months ago is now selling with a discount of 300 Yuan (~47) on JD.com. Now its predecessor phone, the Nubia Z17 Mini that was launched in April 2017 is also available with a discount of 300 Yuan (~$47) on the retailer site.
On JD.com, the Nubia Z17 Mini variants featuring 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage are now respectively available for 1,099 Yuan (~$170) and 1,299 Yuan (~$200) after a discount of 300 Yuan (~$47). Both the variants are available in color choices like Champagne Gold, Black Gold, Elegant Black, and Aurora Blue on the Chinese retailer site.
When the Nubia Z17 Mini was officially introduced, the 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants were respectively priced at 1,699 Yuan (~$263) and 1,999 Yuan (~$310). Compared to the original pricing, the Z17 Mini is now available with a significantly reduced pricing. The smartphone was launched at a time when there are not many full screen design smartphones in the market. Hence, it features a traditional 16:9 display of 5.2 inches. It is fueled by 2,950mAh capacity battery.

Our review of the Nubia Z17 Mini had revealed that this mid-range smartphone features stellar camera capabilities. It features a pair of 13-megapixel camera sensors on its back panel. For snapping selfies, it includes a 16-megeapixel camera.
Both the variants of the smartphone are fueled by Snapdragon 652 chipset. The recently launched HTC U11 EYEs smartphone is also driven by this old chipset. The Nubia Z17 Mini does not feature full screen design and dual selfie cameras like the U11 EYEs that is available in China with a price tag of $500. Considering the fact that Nubia Z17 comes with the same chipset, stellar cameras and decent specs, it seems to be a great phone for 1,099 Yuan (~$170).
